Get the weapon of choice - the EVGA GeForce GTX 660. It takes NVIDIA Kepler-powered graphics cards to new levels of affordability while retaining class-leading performance and power efficiency, making it a perfect upgrade for budget gamers. It delivers the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability. In addition, the excellent ACX cooler speeds up heat dissipation for your video card.

  • newegg Excellent ACX Cooler The EVGA ACX is more efficient at dissipating heat. It dramatically lowers temperature at a low noise level, ensuring stable graphics performance.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI TECHNOLOGY Used by the most demanding gamers worldwide, SLI lets you link up to three GeForce GTX 660 units together for astounding performance. And with NVIDIA’s track record for fast and frequent software updates, you’ll not only get the best performance in existing games, but also in future games.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 660 de evga

Pros: Très bon rapport qualité prix parce que je tourne BF4 a ultra partout avec 8 Go de ram 1886 et un processeur i5 46770k quadcore 3.4Ghz.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA GTX 660

Pros: -Performs great!
-Runs cool
-Looks cool

Runs Assassin's Creed IV, Battlefield 4, and Witcher 2 all on ultra high (with varying AA settings) @ 1600x1200 @ 30-60 fps

Cons: -Kinda big
-Louder at higher temperatures

Other Thoughts: When I first installed it, it was really loud. After driver updates, the video card becomes extremely quiet. Bought 2, one for my system, which has great case cooling, and one for my brother, who has horrible case cooling. I can't hear either of our video cards (which are in the same room), so i guess they run cool or the fans are really quiet at anything below 100%.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Powerful card. I bought the card with two fans, and it stays cool.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Came with a nifty little sticker for the case, so you can show off how much better your computer is than everyone elses.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!!

Pros: Very nice Graphics card. Always go with EVGA, good rep., good quality cards. As usual very fast shipping from NewEgg.
I bought this card to replace another graphics card which was EVGA, but the fan was kind of loud when i played games.
This one is much quieter and has a much better cooling system, with 2 fans.Really like the performance of this card and the looks, although it is quite big, make sure it will fit in system, bigger then the last card i had.Very satisfied so far.

Cons: None so far.................

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for a great price

Pros: I purchased 2 of these bad boys for my new build. I don't care that people call them low end cards because guess what, they are only low end to super crazy enthusiast who think dropping $800 or more on a card is nothing.

My build is as follows
I7-4770k unlocked and running at 4.3 Ghz overclocked
2X GTX EVGA 660's
GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC Force ATX w/ Thunderbolt support, OC Touch motherboard
64GB ADATA SP900 SATA-III 6.0Gb/s - 550 MB/s Read & 505 MB/s Write with Intel Smart Response Technology
2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)

This setup is give me crazy awesome performance running on a 70in 3D Sharp Television.

I run Wow in 3D on ultra settings at 135 fps in a 25 man raid setting.
BF4 on ultra at 50 fps consistently.

Don't overspend because you are listening to crazy enthusiasts. This card is boss when used in SLI. Trust me you will not find a better value for performance anywhere

Cons: Absolutely Zero cons.....

Other Thoughts: Buy two or these cards and set them up in an SLI configuration and you will not be disappointed int the least. If you are questioning doing SLI then DON"T. Upgrade your Mobo if you have to, its that good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU

Pros: It was an awesome card, combined with a nice overclock this really handled a lot of games really well. Better yet even with oc, temps never rose above 72c which was really nice in my opinion.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Works great with no problem, easy overclock. Runs all my games hight-ultra. Battlefield 4 low 30s high 50s average mid 40s, that's on high settings it will push ultra with not much of a hit from FPS I just showed I have not played a game the averaged less then 30s on high-ultra settings

Cons: precisionX don't have an adjustable shader clock. No big deal

Other Thoughts: Wish I would have seen the R7 265 first.

5 out of 5 eggsBlastingly fast

Pros: Great quiet fans, giant cooling solution with lots of surface area, idles at 29c according to Nvidia inspector, Nice looking open style case/cover. Fans "ramp" up and down slowly when required, they don't just switch right to the required speed immediately. This eliminates those fan speed switching transients where the fans might be constantly modulating on other cards. I realized this when manually commanding the fans to different speeds, this thing never runs hot enough to even ramp the fans up.

Cons: Unit as a whole could be a little more rigid, flexes a little. Who cares.

Other Thoughts: A huge upgrade over my old evga 9800 gtx+. Funny you read all this stuff on the forums about "bottlenecking" these cards on older socket systems. Guess what? I am running this in a 2.0 spec slot with an E8500 Wolfdale processor at 3.8 ghz(400 fsb) on an ASUS P5Q-E and doubled my frame rates in every game I have. It may be bottle-necked to some extent, but not enough to make it a waste of money on an older socket T system, properly set up however. I would not go any faster graphics card-wise on an old setup like this, though. This result is with older games that cannot utilize 4 core processors, keep in mind. I went from 25-30 fps average on medium settings 2x anti-liasing in Crysis with my 9800 gtx+ to over 60 with the 660 on max settings max anti-liasing in the exact same system. Also doubled my frame rates in Sniper Elite v2 same scenario. The fans never ramp up, either.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome card for an awesome price

Pros: Plays almost everything released right now (3/14/14) on highest settings

Removes the enclosed casing of the regular GTX660 and replaces it with 2 fans instead of 1 and allows the card to breathe

On sale for ~180 when I got it

Cons: Came defective. One of the 2 fans has a weird grinding sound to it from boot to shutdown. Temperatures don't spike and I've got more than enough airflow to compensate for a downed fan. However, the noise does becoming annoying after a while or when it is quiet in the house.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the busted fan, the card works as intended. Excellent quality and an affordable price. Would have been 5 eggs without the noisy fan

I used to be an AMD guy, but price:power comparison is no contest

Manufacturer Response:

Sorry to hear you had an issue with one of the fans. Please contact our technical support 24/7 at 1-888-881-3842 or via email at and we can assist with a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great in my Dell Inspiron 620!

Pros: Good price (after $20 rebate)
Runs really cool
2 free games!
low power
smallish dimensions
I actually received my rebate!!!
ACX cooler is nice

Cons: none really. see below.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for $179.99 after a $20 MIR(~12/27/13). I also received the holiday bundle as a free "free gift" and have only played Splinter Cell Blacklist so far. That game installed fine and so far has run really well on my system. Game settings are nearly maxed out and I still get ~60+ fps(never officially measured w/fraps). I did run the Unigine Heaven DX11 benchmark when I first got the card and was able to get a solid 60fps with max settings. Unfortunately, I only have a 1680x1050 monitor so with a 1080p monitor you should expect some frame rate loss. I do notice some jitter/ stutter in a few of my older games(Rise of Nations:Rise of Legends was one I remember) that ran fine on the 9600gt this card replaced. It only seemed to happen on cut scenes and gameplay was, as far as I could, tell just fine. I don't know if this is a software problem or a problem with the card. I have played bioshock(2007) on my 2nd partition and that seems to work fine. I don't know what to think atm.

Believe it or not, I'm still under $650 for my entire system including this card. Not too bad for an ultra budget school PC that can play modern games every now and then.

My system:
Dell Inspiron 620
i5 2310 (Sandy Bridge)
6gb ddr3 1333
1Tb WD and a 250Gb SG
Windows 7 Home Premium
600w OCZ OCZ ModXStream Pro PSU
