Excellent Value Home Theater Card

Pros: - Price
- Passively cooled == quiet!
- HDMI, DVI and VGA out
- super easy install
- audio hardware on the card
- PCIe 2.0 backwards compatible

Cons: - large heat sink may interfere/block slot next to PCIe slot (this was not a concern for me as I installed the card in a BTX form factor case so the heat sink extends into open space)

Other Thoughts: I am using the card to drive a 50" 720p panasonic plasma. It does well with source material that is lower resolution (320x240) and dvd (720x480).
Text is perfectly readable even in small font.
If you use your MCE PC for other computing with a different monitor, the fact that the audio H/W on the video card becomes default may be annoying to you.
I am not a PC gamer so I have no idea if this card is any good for gaming.
All in all, this is an excellent value HD card for a home theater PC and is super easy to install.

Pros: Hybrid Crossfire, low APC and TDP and performs nearly 300% above integrated 7 series chipset. Catalyst 9.11 has finally matured ATI drivers. Vivid color display at HD 1680x1050. Perfect for HTPC, light to medium gaming and CAD. Silent

Cons: Not a GPU for gaming or applications requiring high shaders or high LOD.

Other Thoughts: AMD is still behind in CPU technology but has a superior GPU line. Definatly a great buy.

Guess I will find out how great Power Color's rebate program is.

Pros: After Changing Bracket, becomes low profile card
Fits in a HP Slimline Computer with low profile brackets
Works with Windows 7
No problems
Low wattage

Cons: Not a great gaming card, but for the price you can,t beat it.

Pros: very nice video card, the install was a breeze. works great. i do not know about gaming thow.

Cons: large heat sink so make sure you have room.

Pros: Works as advertised.

Cons: Beware of manufacturers lengthy rebate process, probably designed to discourage people from applying for rebates. 1st register email, than register your graphics card, than get a rebate code via email, fill out a form and put that code in there, print receipt, cut and attach bar code etc.. All this for $10 rebate, what were they thinking about???
