2 out of 5 eggsFlickering Problem with Second DVI Port

Pros: Inexpensive - Does not need it own power connector - Quiet

Cons: Like another reviewer the display hooked up to the second DVI port flashes often. Trying powercolor support for the second time. Did not get a responce the first time. If support fails again I'll be retruning the cards for others.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card

Pros: Runs all my games at 1280x1024 (monitor limit) on high-ultra high settings, including Crysis DX10. Fan is silent, even when locked at 100%. I left it to itself after testing it. It idles at 36 celsius, and gets to about 60 under load. Not bad at all. Would definetely recommend.

Cons: Doesnt overclock much. I overclock the core to 800mhz, and the display driver starts crashing in games. not a Big deal, as its fast enough anyway.

Other Thoughts: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66Ghz
4GB Patriot Memory DDR2-800
Powercolor Radeon 4670
WD Caviar WD6400AAKS
Vista home Premium 32b

5 out of 5 eggsNice Little Card

Pros: Just getting into gaming and this card will play Mass Effect just fine at 1680x1050 with high detail. It also works at 1920x1200, but there are pauses and some artifacts. Still very playable though.

Very impressed. No problems at all on my WinXP system (ABIT IP35Pro, Q6600). Seems more resilient than the 8800GT that crapped out on me.

Cons: If you call playing at 1680x1050 a con, well that's all I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Nice card for the money, and the fact that it doesn't require a power connector is very cool for the energy conscious.

To be honest thought, I bought this before the 4830 was out. From what I read, that one is just below the 4850 and can be had for around $100. Something to think about.

1 out of 5 eggsReturning it

Pros: Price. Low Power Requirements.

Cons: Drivers buggy. WinXP Home. Upgraded (?) from a lower performance nVidia card to this card. Never had an ATI on this system. After installing this card, numerous bsod's on a previously stable system, significantly slower boot time. All system drivers are latest versions. BIOS is latest. I'm returning it for another brand.

5 out of 5 eggsHDCP Trifecta!!!

Pros: QUIET:
Card is practically inaudible, even when fan is cranked all the way up (and that's in a case using only silent fans)!!!

COOL:
With fan speed set to 50% it idles at 35c!!!

PERFORMANCE:
Excellent image/video quality @1920x1200, HD video is silky smooth. Could even play some older games (though not what it is meant for).

Cons: Zerotherm cooler is a tad bulky (eats two PCI slots) and comes pretty close to my sound card, but card temps are low so whatever.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a quality HDCP card that wont add any extra heat inside your case...BINGO.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful card.

Pros: Works great. More than twice as fast as my old HD 3650 GDDR3 (which cost $25 MORE than this card when I bought it nine months ago!). Fan is quiet and keeps card around 50C under load. Doesn't need external power, so great for low-power systems. Includes RAM sinks to further improve cooling.

Cons: No included HDMI adapter -- wasn't an issue for me, could be for some. No crossfire adapter, either.

Other Thoughts: None.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: Quiet card
Great price
Very efficient
Worked great for one monitor

Cons: When I hooked up my second monitor, I got very bad persistent flickering. This happened most often when I scrolled any window. It was particularly bad in Outlook Express. I downloaded the 8.10 driver (latest at the time) but that didn't fix it. Tech support questions to Powercolor went unanswered. Returned it for the HIS version which worked perfectly, but has a louder fan (at idle).

2 out of 5 eggsOk, bad fan

Pros: Cheap, powerful, Ati brand

Cons: The fan was weak (Ran at 1RPM), the card read as having 512 of hyper memory on it not as gddr3

Other Thoughts: Be aware

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Quiet, low power, easy install

Cons: No HDMI adapter in retail box

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a basic video card that was quiet for my desktop computer. I do not play games so I can not comment on that. The windows vista score is 5.9 if that matters to anyone. I was going to go with the Asus 4670 but a few reviews noted how the fan is set to full and some remarked it was loud. I think that probably is a good alternative to this board if you don't pick this one. I have nothing really bad to say about this card though

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing what you can get for under $100 these days

Pros: Good performance for very little money. Upgraded a cheap Dell desktop without needing to replace the power supply.
Fan is inaudible when not gaming, with a lower temperature than stock cooling.

Cons: Fan kicks in when gaming, but not particularly loud.
No HDMI output or adapter (I assume you can buy one?) - but my TV is nowhere near the computer so that's unlikely to be an issue for me.

Other Thoughts: Kudos to ATI for producing inexpensive cards with good performance.
