Got a dud and customer service from Powercolor is a joke!

Pros: Price was great, if the card had been working.

Cons: The card I received from Newegg began artifacting after 5 minutes of 2D usage. Checked the case to make sure all the fans were working and nothing was wrong. Took the card out and send an RMA request to Powercolor.

After 5 WEEKS, I received another card back from Powercolor and it works fine during 2D use. Once I began gaming, the card began artifacting. That's now 2 cards in a row that artifact under stock speeds.

Currently contacting them to return this card as well. I am hoping they will somehow give priority to my request as I've yet to game on a card I purchased almost 2 months ago.

Other Thoughts: At this rate, I'll need to upgrade again by the time I have a working card!

On a side note, my Powercolor 3870 is champ and handles the max clocking with CCC. I wanted to keep with Powercolor as my 3870 is so solid but I think I will be looking elsewhere for my next video card.

Pros: -This card recently works great most of popular games and it also run very cool and quiet.
-Newegg rocks.I got this card in two days after ordering.

Cons: It will be a super bargain if I i get the 15 bucks rebate but it was 4 weeks and I have not seen anything about my rebate.
You better not expect too much about Powercoler's rebate.

Never again PowerColor

Pros: Price, Perf (when it worked), onboard HDMI. HD 4800 AA/AF abilities. Fan runs cool and quiet.

Cons: Card is dead after only 6 weeks of use. The video card began to flicker erratically (blackening the entire screen) about one week ago and it happened once every few minutes in game. The card wasn't overheating (under 60C Full Load) and this was on a quality PSU that powered a 9800GTX with no problems. These issues persisted on both an XP and Vista machine in multiple games (Bioshock, TF2 & GoW). These issues worsened into entire black patches of the screen the longer I played. PowerColor tech support initially gave me the run around before telling me I just had to go online and fill out the RMA form through the "automated" system.

Other Thoughts: RMA Time from PowerColor is 3-4 weeks *AFTER* they receive my card. My PC would be down for an entire month if I didn't have a backup card. I will never buy another card from this company again. I also put my old 9800GTX back in and I'm humming along just fine without the display problems.
