Pros: Excellent crossfired setup for the value. Significantly quieter than my old MSI Radeon 3870. Cannot get much better performance @ this price range. Cards run pretty cool even under high loads.

Cons: Didn't come with MW2. Lost sleep playing COD4 and COD5 while admiring pretty graphics. For real though, just make sure you have your own xfire bridge as these cards do not come with them.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these and crossfired them on an MSI X58 platinum motherboard, with Core i7 920 @ stock speeds & 6 GB DDR3 ram @ 1600 MHz. Fits easily in my Antec 900 case. Plays COD4/5, and WoW great at max settings. Hands down best value for the money (as of end of October 2009) as the $250 xfired performance rivals a single $350+ Radeon 5870. Would not replace these cards until the next gen 68xx Radeons are released and the 5870s are as cheap as these 4870s are now.

Only had these cards a couple of weeks, have not failed yet. I will be sure to post if they die, but so far so good.

Cons: Stopped working after not even 3 months of casual use. Tried to send an RMA request, no response after over a week. I'm not dealing with this company anymore. I'm just gonna buy a new card from a different company. I will never buy from you again Powercolor.

Other Thoughts: Don't recommend buying any of powercolor products. I knew I shoulda just got a sapphire.

Pros: -FAST

-This was a flagship card for a while, now at 126
-Runs cool, nice heat sink
-Factory overclocked, Still less expensive than non OC'd ones.
-Heat Pipes?

Cons: -Fan can sound like a dust buster
-If you want to keep it for more than a year you probably want the 1Gb version.

Other Thoughts: Fan dose such a good job at cooling at max load it will actually cycle to medium speed. The card will heat up then and it will cycle to max for a little while. It can sound a little like weeeeeee, woooooo,weeeee,woooooo. Its not that bad though.

It is a fast card, with fast RAM. It is good enough to handle just about any game other than crysis on max detail 1920X1200. 1Gb will have a bit more staying power as games start to use more texture memory, deff worth the extra $5 for the 1Gb as the card is fast enough to have some staying power.

Pros: Card is awesome period. Plays all the new games well, a lot even on highest settings like COD4. Running overclocked at 53C max. The cooling is awesome. The best thing about is is the price though.

Cons: Does not install itself. Keeps me up late at nights.

Other Thoughts: Buy it.

Pros: Great for the money. Saw it in a Maxpc article and it was 50 bucks cheaper on the site than what they had it as. Works great, i can run crysis at 40 fps with this card. runs quite cool as well

Pros: Awesome card graphically, competes with high-scale GTXs with a price tag of less than half. Pushing 1080i at high settings in pretty much any game I can find to throw at it in 30 fpm minimum, and generally in the 50-60 range. People who like folding should like this, although the 9400 GT it replaces had better speeds with CUDA.

Cons: A bit of a power-sucker and certainly not a small card. Didn't expect the heat increase (suppose I should have) going into this upgrade, but it is frequently higher than 55c at the copper tubing, which adds about a 10c full/2c idle case increase. Certainly a manageable temperature, just a little heads up. Card is the 512mb version -- the 1GB version of this card far surpasses this card's capabilities, but this card can't be held accountable for that.

Other Thoughts: Any time you want to give me a copper pipe heatsink on a GPU for $120 again, either newegg or Powercolor, shoot me an email. The new Radeons are coming, after all. :D

Pros: Runs everything I throw at it for hours w/ 4x anti-aliasing on 1280x1024 resolution at 30fps w/ temps constantly under 60C.

Cons: Requires two PCI power connectors. If your PSU has both connectors on the same wire (like mine) it will be tough to connect the wires or it might cause some issues. Mine was difficult to install but runs stable as mentioned above.

Fan is loud! I mean really loud. Having never had a discrete graphics card before now, I didn't know what to expect. I thought I broke it until I asked around and learned that this was fairly common. That's why I rated this card good instead of excellent. It would be excellent with a good water cooler, but unfortunately I couldn't afford one.

Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition 3.1 GHz processor.

Pros: rates a 5.9 on windows vista.

better than 8800GTX and 9800GT / GTS / GTX+

Other Thoughts: a 4870 for 100$ ? buy it!

Pros: I mainly use it to play World of Warcraft and X-Plane (a flight simulator). It runs World of Warcraft at just about max settings, easily with 50+ frames per second. It runs S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky at high settings without a problem, so I like it.

Cons: none that I can think of

Other Thoughts: I didn't realize how gigantic video cards actually are! Also, I didn't check the specs and though it game with a VGA slot, not just DVI, and I was surprised. That was easy to fix though, I just bought a DVI cable for my monitor.
