5 out of 5 eggsVideo Card for Test

Pros: I bought this for a testing card.
Looks good, and I like that it is passive cooled

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm really not sure what I will do with this card, but for
$10 after MIR that is something you can't pass up on. I know for a fact it will stream 1080P HD all day long.

5 out of 5 eggssuper cheap solution

Pros: It works great as a basic graphics card for a desktop computer where gaming is not required and using a standard 1920x1080 monitor. Direct X 11 capable. HDMI and DVI (and even VGA for you sentimental types). Low profile capable with extra bracket. Super inexpensive

Cons: None. It does exactly what it's supposed to for next to no cost.

Other Thoughts: Again, if you play games or use a larger or multi monitor setup, invest a little more. If you need OpenCL (Adobe products) invest a little more. If you browse the web and use desktop 2D apps on a 1080 monitor...this is all you need....don't waste money on more power.

5 out of 5 eggsPrice Point Perfection

Pros: Easy to install, received rebate within 3 months, low profile adapter included. More importantly, the low price and the rebate. Decent for some older games, but I use it mostly for basic computing and watching videos. HDMI output lets you connect your really old computer to a hdmi TV.

Cons: Connector on the GPU is a DVI-D. Keep in mind if you are planning to connect two vga screen and try to buy a dvi-d to vga adapter, a cheap 3-5 dollar adapter will not work because the signal is converting digital to analog.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these and they work flawlessly. Much better than a on board graphics card for a couple of old computers.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Basic Video

Pros: A decent basic PCI-Express video card, with 1G memory. On board video of my ASUS M4A88TD starting flaking out under load, so picked up this card to replace it. The card is noticeably quicker than the on board video. The HD5450 can run low end games but is not a card for serious gamers. Has HDMI if you need it. No fan (noise) is nice. PowerColor delivered the rebate.

Cons: No complaints. Not for serious gamers.

Other Thoughts: As long as you don't expect too much from the card and you receive the rebate (follow the directions although other buyers have complaints) this is a great deal for well under $20.

5 out of 5 eggsnice little card for what it does

Pros: - it is on the smaller side
- plays standard def movies and videos without problems @ 1280 x 800.

Cons: - it's a 5450, taper your expectations a bit

Other Thoughts: I bought this card for $30 and basically use for testing other components. Don't expect it to move digital mountains for you but it can provide a minimum display for web surfing/watching movies

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a Video card

Pros: Easily transfer from slimline to regular sized cases with the included bracket.

Cons: It works but there is a small problem with the alignment. If you put the slim bracket on the screw doesn't quite line up so you have to use the little vga screws to keep it on, but you're still able to use the hdmi port.

Other Thoughts: Works fine for watching movies on netflix and avi's. Probably won't run any games other than peggle.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Didn't work when installed on 2 different computers. Followed instructions from manufacturer to the letter. Then, installed a Radeon HD 6570 card on both of those computers and it worked on both computers so problem must be with the card - either DOA or incompatible for some unknown reason.

Manufacturer Response:

This is Raymond from PowerColor. We apologize for the issue that you are faced with. Compatibility issue can occur with the motherboard if the bios is updated. Please try to do so to see if it fixes the issue.

Best Regards,

3 out of 5 eggslow price - VERY low customer service for rebate

Pros: i ran the auto overclock and got the windows vista graphics sub-score 5.7 and 3D graphics to 5.3. this card was put in my parent Compaq AMD desktop.

Cons: yes the rebate is a con job. i sent everything on their little check list. PERIOD. they said i have to wait 8 weeks till the rebate ends then wait up to 8 more weeks for process. after 6 months i get an email response that i did not send a receipt and now the that rebate closed & so is my chance of getting a rebate. im a little surprised newegg would sell product from this vendor. my parents have stated their pc has slowed to a halt for the last two months one of the reviewers stated that this card did the same to their pc. i haven't check it out yet but i think i am going to replace it anyways just because i despise. POWERCOLOR

Other Thoughts: after reading other reviews it appears a very high percentage of neweggers had the same problems. maybe its time for newegg to look out for its customers and steer clear of this vendors products.
