5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price!

Pros: Low cost.
(I believe I bought it with a rebate or while it was on sale)
Works great as an FRU.
Small design.
Come with a smaller face if you want to remove the VGA port and install the card in a small enclose.
Passive cooling (quiet).
No problems so far.

Cons: Low-end graphics card.

Other Thoughts: I have put this in multiple PCs and a server, and it runs like a charm.
At the moment I am using it as a reliable FRU.

1 out of 5 eggsWhy do scam companies like this exist?

Pros: none

Cons: 1. rebate sucks
2. card sucks
3. company sucks

I put on rebate form the correct rebate number, said I did it wrong, therefore I'm not this and tell me its fishy or not:

"We are sorry to let you know that your rebate (PC14-1005000032), is disqualified.

We cannot find a correct rebate number on your rebate form. The step 4 on rebate form ask a rebate number,
The one that you given us (__PC14-1005__) that was not the correct rebate number.
PC14-1005 is the rebate ID.

We are sorry to say your rebate has been denied."

So, they say I put on the wrong number, but put down the same number I inputted. NO MONEY FO YOU!

I bought from Sapphire and XFX and rebates come through fine. This company I'd give zero stars if I could. Also, those cards are much superior to PowerColor.

3 out of 5 eggsgood luck getting rebate.

Pros: inexpensive basic video card for watching movies or surfing the net

Cons: do not use for gaming...not made for it. As far as the rebate checks go, it's been months and never seen it. power color has it on their website, but actually getting the rebate is a different story. New egg should really end their rebate deals with this company

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Inexpensive HTPC Card

Pros: - Inexpensive (especially with the MIR)
- Great HTPC card
- No problems playing back 1080p recorded content
- Silent
- No additional power connecter needed

Cons: - Needed to fabricate a separate bracket to hold the VGA connector for installation into a machine with only half-height slots.
- Forgot to send in the rebate form on time, so I missed out on $20. My fault. Wish the submission window was larger.

Other Thoughts: Works great in an older Dell Inspiron 530s with an e5200 Pentium Dual Core used as a secondary HTPC running Windows 7 with Windows Media Center. I had some hiccups connecting via HDMI to a Magnavox TV (wouldn't reliably POST), but worked fine via HDMI to a Toshiba TV. I ended up connecting to the Magnavox via VGA.

WEI Graphics = 3.1, Gaming Graphics = 5.3. Not amazing, but I'm not gaming on this thing. Better than the on-board Intel GPU.

I ended up grabbing the current driver from AMD's website rather than use the older included driver on the CD or the built-in Windows driver.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeds good power and airflow

Pros: A very cost efficient way to speed up my older HP mini tower. Used it to set up dual monitors. Works so well, I'm ordering matching twin monitors to do this the right way. Speeds up the machine appreciably, because now the PC doesn't have to share system memory for video.

Cons: This card gets a lot of bad reviews because people don't know how to use it.
First off, don't even Think of installing this into a PC with anything less than a 350 watt power supply. 500 watts would be better. Yes, you can cram it into a small form factor case, but you'll have to jerry-rig the VGA output to the back panel, or simply unplug it. Also, this card uses passive cooling. That means No Fan! The card requires more airflow than it will find in a small footprint PC. Such an install is liable to suffocate it to death. Specific online support for this model is almost nil, but it uses a generic AMD driver/software suite for operation. Better save the included included CD with this one to keep from having to hunt down software in the event of a reinstall. (Securely tape the CD envelope to the inside of the computer case.)

Other Thoughts: Works well if used properly, but aside from this review, nobody's going to inform you of specific requirements. I even bought a second unit, as video cards are PRICEY! Found conflicting information online as to whether all three outputs can be used at once. I'm sticking with only DVI and VGA monitors simultaneously for now.

1 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: It was cheap

Cons: Just moments ago, 4 days after installing, my daughter asked why the pc was sizzling. Then seconds later there was a loud pop. My 6 mo old 450w power supply is shot, and it even tripped the breaker in the house. The specs state min 350w.

4 out of 5 eggsdecent bottom of the barrel card

Pros: didn't make my computer explode, ran graphics well but not better than the integrated radeon HD 7660. would recommend picking this up if your afraid of losing a couple days of gaming due to a O.C. failure(if you can handle 10fps) or a bit-coin miner/home server computer.

Cons: if this card was the last person to pick for a team, i would pick it. Does not support cross-fire/dual graphics.

Other Thoughts: if it wont fit snugly in the chassis slot, get a pair of tin snips and cut your case to make it fit. (recommended on your last gen or grandmas case)

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive Solution

Pros: Works without issue on two 1920 x 1080 displays.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I needed a card that would allow dual-HD displays. This card did a fine job. I am not using it to play games and it works fine for video and other tasks.

Ignore negative reviews from people that complain it doesn't run the latest games at 120 FPS or reviews about the mail-in rebate. Mail-in rebates from any and every company are always a pain and hardly worth it.

1 out of 5 eggsAwful Card - AVOID

Pros: cheap

Cons: Poor performance
Locks up

Other Thoughts: One of the worst video cards I ever bought. My computer started lagging and locking up as soon as I put it in. Card couldn't handle even two browsers with a few tabs open in each. My RAM would fill up and the swap space was constantly in use.

To make matters worse, the first card I bought was DOA. I returned it for another one, and then the company wouldn't honor their rebate. They said I had returned the card, so they wouldn't give me the rebate! I explained to them over many rebates that I had bought TWO cards and returned the first, sending them the Newegg invoices, and they made me jump through hoops, made me take pictures of the card to "prove" it to them, then said the pictures weren't big enough, take more, etc. It was a total nightmare, and I never got the rebate.

Terrible card, and terrible company. ***AVOID***
