1 out of 5 eggsNot compatible with my Gigabyte MB

Pros: No pros, won't even display the BIOS startup screen.

Cons: Cost more to send it back with restocking fees and shipping than it cost. Now it's a paperweight.
No one is responsible. Not the PC manufacturer, not the Video card manufacturer, and not the MB manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: I recommend you ask your MB manufacturer for a list of compatible video cards (if they'll even reply to you), in my case Win10 compatible, before trying to buy one.
My current video card is still working, I just needed an upgrade to be compatible with Win10. Back to square one.

3 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

Pros: Inexpensive. Card performance is reasonable for HD5450.

Cons: Does not ship with low profile bracket for VGA.

Other Thoughts: I have to find and buy some third-party low profile VGA brackets now. I will not make this mistake again.

Manufacturer Response:

Please contact us at

We will help you locate some low profile brackets.

Thank you,

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive HDMI 1GB Ultra low power graphics card!

Pros: Got it up and running on my old HP 6005 Pro with a 250 Watt Power Supply, no issues. Hooked it right up to my TV via HDMi and streaming videos and some light gaming. Doesn't run hot as other ppl have said, my case is well ventilated.

Cons: Not the best card, but come on if you you want to play all those nice new games, don't be a cheap whiner, and get the best card for your needs.

Other Thoughts: It's a decent card, I'll get another one as a back up.

3 out of 5 eggsI needed a cheap DX11 card, I got it

Pros: Supports DX11
I needed a video card that would support Blu Ray videos and play DX10 and DX11 games for my dad's pc, and it does
Was only $10 (I would not pay a penny more)
Overclocks VERY WELL
Temps on max overclock (800 core, 500 mem) never above 54c, and all I have is a 120mm case side fan blowing on it.
Doesn't need a power cable
Crossfire capable
Barely uses any watts
Still gets amd beta driver updates (although official driver support ended a few months ago)
Plays League of Legends on 720p at medium high (I have a decent processor with it though)
Plays BF3 on very low, at low resolution at 30 fps. Not bad for 10 bucks.

The crossfire support is kind of weird. I have done crossfire in the past, when I tried it with this card it started bugging out. It would let me overclock one card but not the other. And crossfire compatible games would not use the second card. (I made sure crossfire was enabled). In fact it started making some games not even start, even though they support crossfire. So that was pretty disappointing.
Well, it's slow, but I already knew that
VGA plug wiggles and gets loose so I have to tighten the screws on it every now and again

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this for no more than 10 bucks. Anything more and it's not worth it. You can get a 6950 (which is like 10 or 15 of these) for 50 bucks, so don't spend more than 10 on this.
My dad loves it. It plays pretty much all games at very low resolution and lowest graphics at 20 fps. I know that's horrible, but if you really want to play the games and don't have much money, this'll work. Provided that your cpu and ram are sufficient for the games.

3 out of 5 eggsTheres a reason its a $10 card

Pros: It works for the most part at first

Cons: It gets WAY to hot. I mean really HOT.. in idle mode just as booting into BIOS.. Hate to even see what it gets to when under some stress.. Due to the heat it would crash.

Other Thoughts: I would suggest buying a fan card that sits right next to it if you want to buy it.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth every penny I spent for it.

Pros: Paid $20 and got my $20 rebate two months after ordering. So for the price it's OK. HDMI out and it fit my small case. Also works with a 280 watt power supply. Using in a older HP as a W7 HTPC and it serves it's purpose.

Cons: None so far. We will see.

Other Thoughts: Made sure I followed the directions and the rebate went through with no problem.

1 out of 5 eggsRuns really hot...

Pros: Has DVI, VGA, and HDMI.

Cons: Runs hot (50 degree C or more) which causes the entire system to run loud..
Has very poor performance on even the much older pc games (original borderlands, original left 4 dead, even gary's mod...).

Other Thoughts: I would neither recommend this or purchase it again. This is an extremely cheap video card. I just bought a replacement (after having this installed for 3 weeks) and I'm basically going to have to just throw this out. Newegg won't take it back, and it's not worth anything to sell... Was just a giant waste of money.

3 out of 5 eggsPowercolor HD 5450

Pros: Plays 1080p mkv's

Cons: Doesn't work on some PCI-E v. 2.1 Mainboards.
Intel DP45SG Extreme would not POST with card installed.

Other Thoughts: Great for upgrading onboard video if it will work on your board.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat little GPU for the price

Pros: Provides decent performance for a non-fan cooled GPU. If you don't have expectations or need top graphics performance this could fit the bill.

Cons: Since I can't compare it to a Titan T1, it works fine as is.

Other Thoughts: Would be perfect for basic build/sub $500 computer. 3 connection options and if you have enough fans to provide proper airflow to your case this will be good. One less moving part (GPU fan) to fail.
