5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works for dual-monitors (DVI + HDMI) which is the reason I purchased it.

It recognized the HD 4250 Onboard Video Chip for my AMD 880G mainboard, thus enabled Crossfire X successfully.

Cons: Given the low price tag, what do you expect?

5 out of 5 eggsNice and easy

Pros: Good quality
Easy Install
Nice Price

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Installed in a Windows 7 tower after customer tried to unplug his monitor cable as opposed to unscrewing it. Year later, it is still going strong; no complaints.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Response From PowerColor Go

Pros: None

Cons: This is an update from my last post about getting no response from PowerColor. I still have not been able to log into their website for an RMA. This company is now on my list of do not buy from.

1 out of 5 eggsArrived DOA

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Arrived DOA, called for support and got voice mail. Looks good on the spec sheet and support responses on newegg but doesn't mean a thing if it doesn't work. I never received a rebate as advertised either. Will not buy again from Powercolor

Other Thoughts: Stay away, spend a bit more and buy from a reliable brand.

1 out of 5 eggsArrived DOA

Pros: None, I never was able to use a working product.

Cons: I read the reviews and it seemed like a decent card for a server I was building good reviews, then it arrived DOA. It was advertised here with a $10 rebate or so and it never came! I called the support line for the company only to get voice mail. Will never buy from this company again!

Other Thoughts: If you are looking into this card as a cheap video source for your server or PC, move on it has nice performance specs but has a rep for dying fast or on arrival. Spend the little extra cash and get something more reliable.

1 out of 5 eggsQuit Working After 6 Months

Pros: Bought 12/06/12 and worked great.

Cons: Completely failed 05/15/2013, 6 months after purchase. Will cost about half as much as I paid for the card to RMA it back to the company.

Other Thoughts: Been many hours waiting on a confirmation email to log into the PowerColor Go website to start the RMA procedure. Hopefully it will come.

5 out of 5 eggsJust realized I've installed three of these babies

Pros: Was looking for something for my HTPC, and two other computers I built for a low price. Enter: Newegg.

1. Excellent low-profile for watching movies, etc. I installed this card in two computers as a 2.0 x16 PCIE slot, both worked great. The last computer was installed as a 2.1 x16 PCIE, also worked flawlessly.

2. Installed out of the box, and drivers installed great. This works for me. I actually decided to upgrade to the 1 GB card for this same brand because I was so happy with this little graphics card.

Cons: 1. After about 6 months of use, I started to notice 'lines' going across my TV. It was the graphics card. I bought the 1 GB PowerColor GO!, and have not had any problems since.

2. NOT FOR HEAVY USE. I put this in my mothers and brothers computer, both whom I know use the computer less frequently than I do. Puts out excellent resolution for what they need.

Other Thoughts: I bought a 50 inch TV recently, and used this card for quite some time. When the lines started appearing on the TV, I switched to the higher 1 GB graphics card, no issues since.

1 out of 5 eggsNever buying this again

Pros: Cheap, Small

Cons: When i put in the card it did over-ride the card already built in and reset my resolution but even after i installed the drivers nothing recognized the card, took me 2 days of working on it reinstalling the drivers, unistalling and so on i even did a system restore to try uninstalling the old drivers first then putting the card in then installing the new drivers, nothing worked. then after i was fed up with it i left the card in but system restored it again and while it was restoring i went to sleep seeing as it was 5am. after i got up and looked at my computer i saw that it was working just fine for the most part and my games where recognizing it. then i realized it was barely an upgrade from my old built in videocard so later this week i am returning it and completely upgrading my motherboard to fit in a new gtx 650

Manufacturer Response:

These discrete cards are not really meant for an "upgrade" over newer onboard video solutions unless it is an older system. These discrete cards are more for providing additional features to your computer such as H.264 decoding for true 1080p playback of video content. If you were looking for an upgrade, one of our HD7770 or HD7790 cards would have been much better. If you needed something that wouldn't require a 6pin PCIe power connector, then the HD7750 would have been the best fit for an upgrade.

1 out of 5 eggsDriver Issues - Defective

Pros: None for me.

Cons: Software installed but drivers did not. Uninstalled and tried downloading drivers from their website and still having issues with drivers. AMD's driver autodetect could not detect it. :(

Other Thoughts: Tried installing the video card using the supplied CD that came in the box. "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware." Manually downloaded the driver files from the web and also PowerColor's website and still having issues with driver. Tried AMD Driver Autodetect application and it cannot recognize the product and therefore cannot recommend a driver to download.

Frustrating to say the least. RMA'd.

Manufacturer Response:

We do apologize for the driver related issues you experienced with your first card. Should the replacement card continue to have these driver related issues, please feel free to contact us at 626-330-4700 for additional support.

5 out of 5 eggsMakes big difference...

Pros: while in our late years, together we assembled our new ASUS M5A97 mainboard. Egg had this graphics card on sale w/rebate even. we got it. the ASUS driver installed the card. Our AMD 4 core athlon also installed the card. and...Windows 8-64 updated the card when Windows updated the Windows software. Suffice to say, our PowerColor card works very well.Grandma can watch all her shows with nary a hiccup. note, that the heatsink on the card is larger and weighted in my opinion and probably a good thing. if the card gets warm, we also added two case fans. And the simple ASUS UEFI bios deal indicates everything is running very cool with plenty of voltage. so...Buy This Card.

Cons: Does come with a rebate, but ATI and PowerColor immediately sent us e mail notice regarding their acceptance of rebate. so...it's just a wait time.
