5 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the price

Pros: I'm not a 'high graphics' gamer, but this worked for me.

Cons: Lasted 4 years then fan died. Last card I had lasted longer. But still, not bad for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect! (For your GF's computer)

Pros: Small, lower profile than most, doesn't take one of your PSU plugs, gets all the power it needs from the Mobo. (get at least a 450w PSU)

My gf's old computer couldnt run Minecraft of all things it was so old and she started playing World of Warcraft at about 2 FPS. i don't know how she delt with it so i convinced her to let me build her a new machine. She obviously didn't need an enthusiast system and this card was PERFECT for her. WoW is smooth as butter on low settings (and higher, but she just doesn't care) and she agrees that it makes quite an improvement.

Cons: For the use i put this card to, i have no complaints at all. I wouldn't use it in my comp but for friends or family who need an upgrade? oh yes.

Other Thoughts: Considered buying several of these just to have on hand for other family members who need it, but meh. Fix your own computers you lazy bums.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply amazing

Pros: My gf ordered one of these so she could play SWTOR. Before she had old integrated graphics the game would tun at 1fps or less.. needless to say that is unplayable. Now after Ive installed it, it glides through gameplay on low settings and I've cranked it ip to high but that was just during dome soloing.

Cons: Pop on low was a little choppy but I believe this is due to the need of a cpu upgrade. Also was a little noisy at first but now it stays relatively quiet.

Other Thoughts: Athlon 64 x2 4400+ is the cpu . Which is a notch above the swtor reccomended settings for low

5 out of 5 eggsNice Board

Pros: It Just Works. Very happy with the performance. A great deal with the rebate, which was processed promptly.

Cons: It may be too tall for a small profile Home Theatre case, but this was not an issue for me.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Good mid range card, good performance, easy to instal, plenty of room for an aftermarket heat sink, works in pcie16X 1.0 slot. This is a good mid range card, it will run older games on high and newer games on medium to high settings depending on the ram and cpu in your system.

Cons: small heatsink, no dvi adapter, drivers require tweaking for optimum performance *minor complaint, after all this isn't a console . You want the best performance you learn how your drivers work and you set the best settings from the control panel*.

Other Thoughts: Grab the latest drivers from amd's site and remember to manually tweak them for best performance and you'll be fine. Small heat sink but performs well after arctic silver re-grease, 38c idle-55c load. Running an old 775 Pentium dual core 2.2 ghz with 4 gigs of ddr2 800 ram and getting good performance across the board. Games tested : Skyrim, Oblivion, Borderlands, Dow2, Space Marine, Arkham Asylum, Serious Sam HD, Sins of a Solar Empire, Metro 2033, Deus ex HR, RE5, DMC4, CNC3. Gears of War, and Portal 2. All performed on high with smooth performance *30 fps or above, no AA, 1400 by 900*.

5 out of 5 eggsVerry good card

Pros: Low Power use, I'm running this off a 300w power supply and it is working fine.

Very easy to install, Just plug it in and go to amd site to download drivers.

Good card for its price, very cost efficient.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to upgrade my old dell inspiron 530 and its working fine, although I don't think I've seen its full potential yet because of my 2.2ghz single core processor which I am upgrading soon. This was the first time I've EVER ordered any pieice of hardware for my computer and this was very easy to work with, no hassles at all.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: - Fast
- Cheap
- About equivalent to a Geforce 8800gs in performance
- Low power cost
- Runs on 300 watt PSU
-At 1440 x 900/ 1600 x 1200/ 1280 x 700 resolutions you can expect great performance on nearly any game from the last few years and for a couple years to come.

Cons: - Loud during use (not really a con for me, I wear headphones)

Other Thoughts: Plays SWTOR on high except for shadows and AA at around 60fps in the world and 30fps in crowded areas at 1440 x 900 resolution.

Upgraded from a reliable 8500GT that just became inefficient for newer games.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for HTPC

Pros: A great card for HTPC and some light gaming with medium settings. It's very inexpensive for all that you get.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Originally bought this card for my HTPC. Works perfect for blu-ray, HDMI audio, and streaming content. I've done some gaming at 1080 rez, with medium settings, butter smooth.

1 out of 5 eggs3x Bad Luck

Pros: None. Never could get it work. RMD' it once and didn't get it back until the day before NewEgg expired (30 days). Then that one didn't work either.

Cons: The problem I ran into was that it sounded like it was struggling. It would wind up and then wind down. No video connection was made. The screen remained blank.

This is a new computer build. Everything works. It has a 4100 processor, 8gig Ram and a 970AX Gigabyte motherboard. Other graphic cards will work but this one never would.

Other Thoughts: I also got cheated by NG who sent me a defective replacement the day before their warranty expired and then deleted my request for a refund so I could buy another brand graphic card. So, I'm out $60 for a card that doesn't work. Waste of money. Really disappointed in NG legendary CS.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for older Machines

Pros: I have been looking around for a new graphics card for quite awhile, but with Star Wars:The Old Republic out I wanted better graphics. I have a 4 year old dell inspiron, with one of the early duel core processors and a motherboard that won't support anything better. Being in a money crunch and not being able to buy a completely new pc, I found this card.
Replaced a Geforce 8600gt.
This card is a solid buy, took my 15-25fps all minimum settings in SWTOR to 25-50fps with all high settings except AA and shadows. Still tweaking it some to find the sweet spot, but am totally happy with the upgrade.

Card is very easy to install, popped it in booted up, DL the drivers from Radeon website and was good to go.

This card requires no additional power runs off my 300w power supply no problem

Cons: Non- to speak of, very happy with my purchase
