5 out of 5 eggsIt's so little

Pros: Threw this into a homemade media center, has done surprisingly well thus far. A little this, and a little that: Runs 1920x1080 HD videos well.

Cons: Like I said it's LITTLE, I nearly inhaled it.

Other Thoughts: A couple hicups with Blu-ray still not quite sure why that is. It's benign and rare so no complaints. Great if you want to play older games on high settings, not so much for modern games (obviously)

4 out of 5 eggsLike a champ

Pros: Runs great, renders quick, HDMI is excellent!

Cons: HDMI seems to have a short. Variety of different cables and a variety of montiors and grounds, CPU will not boot with HDMI plugged in and monitor on. With monitor off, PC boots just fine.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap price for ddr3 1gb card

Cons: card fried on me exactly 1 year after purchase, shorted out my 23inch monitor as well.

Manufacturer Response:

How does your graphics card short out your monitor? I've never heard of that happening before and in fact I'd be willing to bet that the occurrences are entirely coincidental. The types of signals transmitted via a DVI/VGA/HDMI cable aren't anything that's going to "short out" a monitor. Either way, the card has a 2 year warranty so please feel free to submit an RMA request on the Support page of www.powercolor.com so that we can get you a working replacement quickly. If you have any questions please e-mail me at hugo@powercolor.com, thanks.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Fantastic card. I got this to replace a burnt up gtx260, and I was just shooting for something to suffice meanwhile I wait for the 600 Series. This thing plays everything on medium settings. I can't believe it's running just fine with Deus Ex 3 on medium, I thought a $40 card would just laugh at me when I'd try to play a brand new game. Tiny, doesn't need external power, quiet, powerful, wonderful.

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: Skinny and beautiful, compared to the massive 260gtx I had.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card!

Pros: Using the powercolor drivers you can just install the drivers & not all that catalyst junk. Was using a buggy 9500gt. This is my first ATI and so far I'm loving it. Handles 1080p just fine without OC'ing.

Cons: May be a bit hard to get hdmi going, see below.

Other Thoughts: For HDMI, don't download Catalyst & the ATI drivers. They wouldn't even show up on my system so I had vid but no sound. Tried all of powercolor & ati's suggestions, no luck. No device to select. Instead grab Realtek's HDMI Audio drivers for ATI. Restarted and it works perfectly for cloning!
