1 out of 5 eggsDon't trust this card

Pros: nice looking card, doesn't need a power connector

Cons: Doesn't work. I put in into a new Dell and thought that Dell was the problem. It is this card that is the problem!!

Other Thoughts: U get what u pay for.. this was cheap.. but the price fooled me. It seems a lot of other people had the same problem.

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for the issues you've encountered with this card. I can assure you that this card is not a problematic card and that you have received a one-off unit. If you are still in possession of the card, please feel free to contact me at

Thank you,

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: quiet fast strong at least for a little while

Cons: 7th card from rma to quit working in just a few months really poor construction seems like a good deal but it isnt i have spent just as much as the card cost in shipping to powercolor for rma's its really sad this company should sell furniture or something not video cards.

Other Thoughts: buy something else powercolor needs to fold under and be bought by a real company such as MSI or ASUS

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for the inconveniences you've experienced with our product. We do stand behind all of our products and I would like to make this better for you.

Please contact me directly at so that I can look over your specific circumstances.

Thank you,

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: Good value, good performance, quiet for a card of its type

Cons: Little bulky

Other Thoughts: This is pretty much a straight-up reference-design 6770, with performance exactly as you'd expect from such a card (tested on Passmark as within 4% of the average, with 5 year old mobo/cpu/memory hardware behind it). Probably has some room for overclocking in a well-ventilated case, as the fan never exceeded 70% during Borderlands at 1680x1050, max detail.

Only drawbacks are a fairly thick form factor (which crowds very close to the next slot) and the lack of SLI. This mobo had plenty of room for the thickness (no other PCIe cards in the system so the x4 slot it's up against will noever be at risk of cutting off the itake air), and it's certainly much shorter than the equivalent NVidia card (GT 220, runs 11.5-12.5"), which makes it easy to get into a mid-tower case.

For $110, you're getting a lot of graphics power. It's given new life to my step-son's old system, letting him play newer games at decent graphics settings without completely rebuilding the system.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: It is a killer card if you can get it to work

Cons: Absolutely THE worse driver support of any ati card. numerous problems, the biggest being failed driver installation. installation cd works fine, but there is no display driver on it. installation from the amd website is necessary; only if it fully worked. and if you can get it to work, a common problem is crashing and freezing.

Other Thoughts: skip over the 6000 series cards. right now their driver support is almost obsolete. ati needs to step up their game.

Manufacturer Response:

You can always contact us if you're having difficulties with the installation of your card. Drivers can be downloaded from either or I can assure you that there's display drivers on the included driver disc, although they might be a bit dated (so it's always recommended to visit for drivers). If you need any assistance please contact me directly at and I'll be more than happy to help you out, thanks.
