Cons: not available anymore.

4 out of 5 eggsRuns a little hot. Could use second fan or cooler

Pros: great frame rate, good memory, just gets stays around 50C at 100% fan speed for World of Tanks and SWTOR. Less for Star Trek Online.

Cons: I would expect the price to be a bit lower.... maybe 20 bucks

1 out of 5 eggsNice DoA Card

Pros: Looks really nice.

Cons: Was DoA.
Now I have to get on the phone with Powercolor support to try and get an RMA request put through because the Serial Number was already sent in by a family member for a mail-in-rebate.

Other Thoughts: Will update regarding customer service experience later next week.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Like Ice - Solid And Cool

Pros: I barely hear this card while playing no less chilling. My last card was a AMD 4850 that ran 80+C "normally" and sounded like a hair dryer. I had to spend 25 bucks to put an Accelero on it to get temps down to 50-60C. This card runs just over 30C. I expected to have to put an Accelero on this card but now I see (and hear) I won't have to.

Cons: There aren't as many connectors as other 7850s but this price is good (and it came with 2 games on Steam that would have cost me 40 bucks).

Other Thoughts: If I decide to double up on cards in future its good to know I can use 2 of these without a lot of heat/noise.

3 out of 5 eggsI'm sure it is awesome

Pros: was under 100.00...worked in my OLD core2 duo setup...worked well in fact

Cons: incompatible with my new computer, it just wouldn't boot up I tried everything believe me. MB is MSI H87m-G43. Old video card works in it np and when I tried the powercolor in my old machine with my new psu it booted up and worked well with that set up...2 eggs off for incompatible.

Other Thoughts: If I had planned on keeping my old rig I would have been happy to have kept the powercolor video card in it. but I plan on selling my old rig so sent it back and purchased an MSI R7850 twin frozr which works beautifully in the new rig.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA!!!

Pros: none DOA

Cons: DOA fan spins but the monitor receives no signal. Bought this for Battlefield 4 but now looks like my weekend is ruined. Tested it on another computer and same thing, after reinstalling my old gpu back in it booted up fine and worked.

Other Thoughts: Tried to email after seeing the manufacturer response on some of the other DOA reviews and it doesn't seem to be a valid email address. Not a good sign so far, not sure how much confidence I have in their Mail in Rebate anymore.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless Video Card Discount

Pros: I wanted to order this card because an additional $35 was offered for the black friday special with their supplied code. Unfortunately because of the free 2-game offer, the system would not allow me to use the $35 discount coupon, and there is no way to buy the card WITHOUT the free 2-game offer so you can use the $35 off coupon. VERY POOR!!!!!

Cons: Can't use the offered $35 off coupon.

Other Thoughts: FIX this problem so people can use the offered extra $35 off coupon! I do not play games, so I don't want the free 2-game coupon, but I definitely want the extra $35 off!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Bargain

Pros: Bought this card a month ago:

I stress-tested this card with Prime95 and FurMark by running them together. Now in order to do this I had to set the affinity for Furmark to 0 on my Zosma 4-core and on Prime95 to 1,2,3...otherwise it crashes to a complete auto-reboot as Core 0 cannot handle the load of both programs. I ran the Zosma at 4ghz and it balanced out at 66C, 2200 rpm fan-cooler. But the truth is, Furmark is harder on the HDD than it is the GPU.

But once done the card ran continually for many hours without a hiccup. The heat on the SSD running Furmark got so hot I finally said enough and quit, it was actually hotter than the 7850. Both Mother and baby are doing fine now...and next time will monitor heat on SSD with Crystal Mark. Prime95 was run from a Sata3 Samsung 2TB. I've since re-installed Furmark to the Samsung, taking it off the Toshiba! Shoulda known...

I ran the 7850 up to 940 on the core clock and 1410 on the mem clock. I saw no reason to push them any further because the temp on the GPU held steady at 75C with default voltage and 80% on the fan. I have no doubt it would go higher but I did this on air and would say get a water cooler if you want to go any higher...this thing gets HOT, but the drive will get hotter still!

But I will tell you other OGL and DX11 tests ran much cooler, in the 50C-60C range, quite a lot cooler. But I haven't seen the 7850 hiccup once yet <KOW>.

Cons: HEAT...and noise, this dang fan squeals like a stuck pig over 50% and it only gets worse from there. 90% is almost unbearable, 80% was livable, barely.

Other Thoughts: If you can control the heat and noise with an aftermarket fan-cooler or just go get a water-cooler, this Powercolor 7850 delivers exceptional value, especially when its on sale...for any reason. I think I just talked myself into a watercooler!
