1 out of 5 eggsDon't expect a Refund

Pros: Card works.

Cons: The Support from the company is basically nonexistent. I sent in the refund within the allotted time, and heard nothing back. They had email, address, even phone numbers and yet I didn't receive any kind of contact about my refund. Finally after the time had elapsed I went onto the website to try and find what had happened, the website is bugged. Won't accept any new support forms, just gives you an error. The email addresses listed for support reject all emails. when I finally do get SOMEONE to answer my support ticket, they tell me I've been denied over the very small matter of a few missing numbers, when I then supply the numbers they're looking for, and ask if this can be fixed, since it's obvious I did purchase the card, and did send in the rebate on time, I get nothing but silence, they stop answering my emails.

Other Thoughts: If this is the kind of support they give, I wouldn't want to be associating with this company. If this had been a major problem that had affected my build or if something was wrong with the card I basically would be left out in the cold to fend for myself, which really sucks on this company's part. Buy a different card from a different company, you'll get the same thing without nonexistent support screwing you over from a company that obviously does not care if the customer is happy with what they receive once they get paid.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card choose a different manufacturer

Pros: It is a great card.
It plays most games on high settings.

Cons: One of the posts to screw cables into the back is loose so you can accidentally unscrew it from the card when you remove a cable. Shoddy workmanship.

Refused my rebate. It was a valid rebate.

Other Thoughts: It's a good card but these guys are a terrible business. I'd pay twice as much for the same card from someone else to avoid buying anything from them again. Terrible.

5 out of 5 eggsGood mid range card

Pros: Simple to install, cheap, powerful, quite fans, keeps fairly cool, good looking card.
I was able to max out the overclock on this card, and I only had to increase the power a couple percent.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: If you are on a tight budget, get this card, its cheap, and powerful.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat card... until it went belly up

Pros: - Great performance for the price.

- Build quality is decent.

- Solid packaging

Cons: - Card failed a little after 1 month of owning it.

- Customer service is not great. Applied for a RMA and haven't received a response.

Other Thoughts: I wish it would've lasted longer than it did. I had been playing a game for about an hour and then my PC just shut off. I thought that maybe my power supply died, but as soon as I removed the card the PC started up without issue. Re-seat the card (several times), nothing. Put it in another PC just to be sure.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

We apologize regarding your experience with the video card.

If you have not done so already, please email support.usa@powercolor.com and our technician will help with the RMA process.

1 out of 5 eggsGood quality, but failed quickly and customer service is MIA

Pros: The card performed pretty well when it worked (which was for about 3 months), especially given the price point. I could get medium settings at 30-40 fps on most modern games and would score in the low 600s on the heaven benchmark.

Cons: Unfortunately, this card started to give me artifacting and graphics failures after about 3 months. They were pretty infrequent, so I didn't mind them too much, but about a month ago, it got to the point where I would get frequent orange screen crashes/orange screens of death. At that point, I tried to contact PowerColor customer service to see if I could get a replacement before I returned this one (so I would have a suitable box to ship it in) or if I could pay the difference to upgrade to a different model of theirs. I have emailed them 4 times and have yet to get a response. Their phone line goes to voicemail almost immediately and I have yet to hear back from that avenue either. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to have to file a warranty claim through VISA signature, but I am going to give PowerColor a few more weeks.

Other Thoughts: I would be happy to increase my rating to 4 or 5 stars depending on the quality of the resolution if I ever get one. All in all, it was a great card for the money when it worked, but it failed so quickly and customer service has been lacking.

3 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card & Major Issues

Pros: - Firstly card isn't to large.
- The card isn't to loud, but I haven't had games currently to push the limits.
- Maxing out most games with out a problems.
- I love the colors of it.
- Price to performance ration AMAZING!!!

Cons: - Didn't like the manual that was packaged with this even though this more of pet peeve.
-I've recently noticed green pixels on computer screen, which is due to the graphics as I've proved through switching between two computer screens both had same problems.

Other Thoughts: Recently I have noticed that my graphics card has been giving me problems I'm seeing flickering green pixels on my computer screen. So originally I thought it was the computers screen, but I had an extra computer screen laying around so I grab and go test it out to see if it was the computer screen. Just to find out that even when putting in the new computer screen I still see the green pixels so then I went to update the drivers on the graphics card to see if that would fix the issue. This main why I've lowered card from possibly getting higher score

2 out of 5 eggsCard is OK but not Rebate

Pros: Card seems to do what it is suppose to

Cons: Did not receive rebate, Power Color told me 6 months later when I asked why I did not receive rebate that I chose the wrong rebate on the check box. The choice are purposely vague so you have know idea. Also they made zero effort to let me know so I could try and correct it. Power color was very unhelpful. I have over the years filled out hundreds of rebates and this is the 1st one that did not pay out the rebate. I do believe that their rebate is designed to set you up and hope you fail. Will never buy a Power Color product again.

Other Thoughts: Runs somewhat hot

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

We apologize regarding your experience with our rebate service.

To help clarify on our rebate forms, we do not have any checkboxes that allow customers to mark in order to choose a specific product for a rebate. All elgible rebates are listed in the rebate forms.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good product works fine and blazing fast

Cons: Took a little while to get my rebate but they did follow thru with it so not really a con

Other Thoughts: They make a solid product comparing performance with several other brands My r7 270 even though mid range class is a beast. I am very happy with my purchase

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade, near silent.

Pros: Bought this to upgrade from my Radeon 6870 1GB. Most of my games even at 1680x1050 were using more Vram than the card had. NBA 2K15 and Starcraft 2 hit 1.8GB and 1.3GB respectively. Benchmarks say the performance is literally double that of the 6870 and I've found it 100% accurate. Fan profile isn't aggressive and keeps temps in check very well. Extremely quiet. Only 1 PCI-E 6-pin connector.

Cons: I didn't have anything to tweak as it works out of the box with Omega drivers perfectly. Would have preferred a DisplayPort to DVI or HDMI dongle. Thankfully I had them on hand for dual monitors.
