5 out of 5 eggsWorking great

Pros: + Working great in Crossfire

Cons: - Price?

Other Thoughts: I saw a similar card being marketed by another manufacturer, but wasn't able to find any of those in stock anywhere, so I decided to get two of these, even though I'd never heard of PowerColor before.

What I received is absolutely top-notch. These cards are running great and the results are impressive.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty sweet!!

Pros: Coolest R290X on the market from factory.
Cheaper than buying the card and a seperate block and back plate.

Cons: I paid $619.99 for this a few weeks ago and it had dropped $20. No PhysX, but thats Nvidia's fault, not AMD. It is a little more difficult to run a monitor and a TV together, Nvidia was simpler in that department.

Other Thoughts: I changed from a MSI GTX780Oc, I wouldn't say it is a large upgrade, but these particular cards in CF will scale better than SLI, so I decided to give AMD another shot, not a fanboy of either. Will get another one, or 2 or maybe a 295x2 to run tri CF later.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerColor LCS AXR9 290X 4GBD5-WMDH/OC Radeon R9 290X 4GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: It's been wrecking everything I through at it. Haven't attempted to OC this yet as I'm waiting on a few parts for upgrades first. Drivers seem to be acceptable and haven't had any issue with it. In my loop under a 15 minute burn in stress test using Furmark it only reached 51c. Normally it runs around mid 30c.

You can adjust which side of the holes you want to use fairly easily, that ways it works best for your loop layout.

Cool design on the cooler plate that is readable when installed. :)

Best part is warranty stays on the card. Honestly that's the best part, makes it a lot less worrisome.

Cons: Only comes with barbs. Might not be a big deal to some but I prefer compression. Had to pick up extra fittings, not worth taking an egg off though.

Thing is a monster for length size. Once again not worth an egg off just be aware.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up on 2/16/2014 and wrote this review 3/27/2014.

This thing is everything I could have hoped. I was nervous as I was upgrading from 2 XFX 5770's and had been out of the GPU information loop for quite some time.

I'm running this on a 850w PSU that is ~6 years old. FX8350, Crosshair IV. I'm also running a redundant pump system in my loop so I have a little more power draw there. I feel that I'm approaching the peak of my power limit for this PSU and waiting to replace the PSU before OC the GPU.
