4 out of 5 eggshad to RMA

Pros: now I've seen this card perform outstanding task gaming ,and stays under 70°C if you have a good case and air flow

Cons: had to RMA ,The card did not display anything on 2 builds one with 750w and 1000w ,Intel and AMD ,wish they could have tested the card. before sending it ,now I have to wait 10 days for a new one to come in
just stay away from the product, I know its cheap 230$ ,but you might get a better experience with like a XFX or a sapphire

1 out of 5 eggsTrust the reviews!

Pros: Cheap cost

Cons: Legendary unreliability. Flaws detected on hour one. I wish I'm kidding. What an amazing card, never buy anything from these guys. I wish I listened to the other reviewers. Card started crashing at 75 degrees C while doing medium-heavy graphics tasks, and now it artifacts as soon as any sort of 3D game is launched. Stay the fsck away from this product, and this company.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card

Pros: This card is fantastic for me so far. I can run planetside 2 at ultra, black ops 3 beta, sniper elite 3 and dayz all aswell on ultra. This card is very good for the price, and so far I've not experienced a single crash being the card's fault.

Cons: While it is a very high preforming card, it also can get hot like other r9 290's. I had my rig using only one chassis fan however and it barely ever went over 80 celsius. If you're looking to overclock however I'd suggest purchasing a aftermarket cooler.

Other Thoughts: So far, the cards been a huge change from my old HP Pavvilon. ALso, I've used a 600b 600w EVGA power supply for the last month with this card and it hasn't really shown any problems relating to it. While it does suggest getting a 750w, if you're not going to do anything like overclocking a 550-600w is perfectly fine. Get either a corsair or a 600b.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than I expected

Pros: Cheap:
The cheapest R9 290 I could find
Good for overclocking:
I run this card at 1122mhz with 1500x4mhz GDDR5 with no issue.

Cons: Noisy:
Fan runs at 85-100% spped during gaming(Max = 3450RPM)
Default clock = 86 degree when running Furmark
overclock = 94 degree when running Furmark.
When playing BF4
My main gpu is at 94
my second 290 is at 71

Other Thoughts: Do overclock this card!
It is going to be noisy and hot anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsIts really good

Pros: Temp
Performance/Price is great.
Pretty quiet.

Cons: Its massive.

Other Thoughts: I bought this expecting a pretty bad version of the 290, but honestly at this price point you cant do better. The temps are decent even with stock cooler. I bought this to play Ark Survival Evovled in all honesty, and it does great with that game (Mixture of medium/high at 40-50 fps, could be even better if you tweak it a bit more, the game is in alpha and its not optimized at all so this is amazing). Though it does get up to 75 in my case due to poor airflow because i'm a terrible person. but this is under a huge load. Other than that, its a card at an amazing price point where the performance is great. I wasnt expecting this much because of the other reviews but I took a shot, and so far i'm really happy with this decision. I upgraded from a 6850 (also from powercolor) that's lasted about 4 years now. Its more common for people to write a review for a DOA product or a failed product than one they are happy with and because of this I decided to write this. Its a great card, and you wont be disappointed. I promise.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerColor TurboDuo Radeon R9 290 AXR9 290 4GBD5-TDHE/OC 4GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: If you were running a Nvidia card prior to installing AMD GPU card, you MUST uninstall all Nvidia drivers. All of them and reboot before installing a AMD GPU card. Also If you are unfamiliar with AMD, they are power hungry. I do not recommend using a power-splitter of any type, even from the manufacturer. You will need a power supply that has pci-e 8-pin connector. If your doesn't have it then upgrade your PSU first. P.S. Don't settle for min requirement PSU. If you use a min requirement PSU you will prob. starve your card, in return card will most likely crash. Give yourself some headroom at least by 25%. I'm using a Corsair HX 1050 PSU. when idle my PSU fan is not running due to my power consumption isn't stressing out the PSU. If you don't know how much power you need,go to Corsair and run their power supply calculator. It's free.

Cons: Once you know, You NewEgg.

5 out of 5 eggsLike the old 350 engine

Pros: Beast of a card for the price. Picked mine up for $250 on Newegg and have been totally pleased. playing games on ultra for the first time ever.

Cons: Like the old 350 engines, it is a thristy beast.... For power. Get at least a 750W PSU like they suggest. Otherwise, great card.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Graphics Card, Tremendous Value

Pros: Very fast GPU
Good size for R9 290
Great cooling system
Best value available today

Cons: Older technology
Small for R9 290, but still huge

Other Thoughts: This is by far the best value graphics card as of August 2015. $229 with a $20 rebate. If you pay with Visa Checkout, there is a promo code right now $25 off. That's $205 for a R9 290! With the latest drivers, you get close to GTX 970 performance and completely destroy the GTX 960, which is $20-$30 more for the 4GB version. That is tremendous value.

Here's my rig:

CPU - FX-6300
Video - Powercolor R9 290
Memory - 16GB DDR3 G-Skillz
Motherboard - Gigabyte 990FX UD3
Hard Drive - 480GB SSD OCZ and 2TB WD Blue

I am able to game at 1080P with most settings maxed out in current games:

Witcher 3 - Ultra Settings - 55-60 FPS
GTA V - All settings on Very High - 55-60 FPS
Mortal Kombat X - Max Settings - 60+ FPS
Batman Arkham Knight - All settings on High - 55-60 FPS

Trust me, I did the research for you. If you want the best value, buy this card, it's a beast. Also, as always, Newegg is the best.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazed

Pros: Quiet, very quiet. Can't hear this thing over case fans until it's really pressed. Using Afterburner and temps stay below 75c (20c ambient) easily. Never had a crash or any issue with any game yet.
Rebate proceeding on time with no issues and very good feedback from Powercolor.

Cons: There was a very very slight coil whine when I first installed it, but can't hear it now.

Other Thoughts: I'm using an Antec true 750watt with dedicated power lines to the card.
This replaced an ASUS 5870v2 and the improvement in noise levels was a jaw dropper.
