Q: Will this fit a AM3+ Motherboard?

I'm running this on a MSI 990FX-A-GD65 mobo with an AMD octocore 8350 CPU in an NZXT Phantom Full tower case. This thing is crazy powerful. Just make sure you have a minimum of a 750 PSU. You're going to love this card.

Q: I do realize it says to use this card on a psu of 750w as min. But i have noticed cards running on lower than its min. watt requirement. Will this card run on a 600 watt corsair?

You can run cards on lower than recommended minimums if you are not using the card for anything exciting however if you push the card your PC is going to black screen or crash due to lack of sufficient continuous power. The power rating also assumes a draw from your motherboard, CPU, HDD's, CD/DVD drives and any other peripherals. If you are running a CPU that doesn't draw too much power, lower draw ram, an SSD, no CD/DVD and few/no other peripheral devices you might be able to squeak by with a 600W power supply. That being said, it is strongly recommended to use a PSU that provides sufficient power.

I think it depends on exactly what you will be doing. I had a 550w PSU when I first got this card and Windows ran fine, and even some older games, but when I pushed the card on new games and high settings the rig would ultimately power cycle due to lack of power available. Replaced with a 750w and it has been fine since. So, depending on what your needs are exactly a 600w may be fine... but my guess is anyone buying a card like this isn't buying it for a rig that will only be used to read email.

Q: I would really like to play games in 1440p without spending 300 dollars, is this GPU capable of getting at least 30 fps on 1440p on medium graphics of AAA games such as BF4? I was also wondering if the 750w PSU is necessary.

I have this card and i'm using a 550w PSU (Bronze). It gets about 80 fps average on BF4 on ultra minus Anti Aliasing. I haven't tried it on 1440p as my monitor is just 1080p, but I'd imagine it would be able to manage 30 fps on medium at 1440p. I'd bet you could probably get 40fps with this card at 1440p on ultra without overclocking.

Q: Installed the card, loaded the Catalyst drivers, removed Nvidia drivers. When I restarted the system (Windows 8), get the inital splash screens but never get to the login screen. Have 850W power supply Any ideas?

Often i find that when installing a new card it is best to uninstall old drivers before installing new card. Uninstall drivers and reboot system to ensure it is running graphics off CPU.Then shutdown and install new GPU, then reboot and download necessary drivers.

Q: Is this card's voltage unlocked? I've looked everwhere and i cant find if it is.

this card and pretty much every amd card are unlocked. amd software makes it real easy to overclock these suckers. i wouldnt get to crazy with increasing the voltage, but you totally can. as far as adjusting it in the bios, it really depends on your bios features. most wont let you without a hack, however the option is there.

This card does support Dual Monitors.  You will need to get a display port to what your monitor supports (dp to dvi/vga/hdmi).

Can this card run on a Cooler Master i500-500w power supply?

The spec says 650 watts, it uses two pcie power adapters and gulps over 200 watts by itself. If the rest of your components are low wattage (<65 watt cpu, 1 x low power hdd, and cd, 1 x ram stick, you might get by with 500 watts. but you should probably use a 650 or better power supply. If you have multiple hdd, and lots of ram I might get a 700 or 750.

I have 850w Gold EVGA....

I think you should get 600w from good brand.... It depend how many stuff you put in your PC... The more stuff you have in it the more watt it gonna draw....

take 12v rail time for it ampere = total watt
If power supply rate at 500w ... Most time it only give you about 80% of it juice ( 500 divide for 100  then time 80 = 400w ). 
  This 400w will supply power for : CPU + GPU + HDD + FAN + ect...

If you have to use 500w power supply, it still runs... But it might not run 100 mph when it low on juice... Over load your power supply could cause over heat or burn...

And if you buy a good power supply... Next upgrade you don't have to worry about it again...

This card needs around 360 watt on 12v rail ... about 30 amp on 12v rail ( remember only use 80% of total power on power supply for safe side )...

PowerColor Radeon R9 280 3GB has more horse power than  R9270X.... I played Far Cry 4 on PowerColor Radeon R9 280 3GB ( on high setting with no hiccup )... I tried Call Duty Advanced Warfare  on high setting. The card seem ....keeps up pretty good....
