Does this card support four monitors without using a DisplayPort hub (i.e. 2 DVI, 1 HDMI, and 1 DP all different monitors)?

I believe four displays work out of each port individually, however I also believe that AMD themselves mention that the monitors using the DVI inputs have to be identical monitors or else you'll get a message.  Otherwise, using different monitors with HDMI and Display should not be an issue.

Im debating between this and a Radeon HD 6970 what should I get??

I completely agree with Brandon.  The R9 270X is a much better choice in terms of performance, temperatures, and noise.  This card is quieter and runs significantly cooler than the 6970.  On top of that, it performs on par with the newer Radeon HD 7950 and GTX 660 ti.  The price of this card is perfect and is one of the best (Price to Performance) ratio cards to buy in the market.
Two of these cards in crossfire, and you're set, if you're into that.

Will this work with Intel motherboard with i7?

Yes. The processor that is installed on your motherboard is not the determining factor as to whether or not this video card will work for you.

What is important is the video card slot that your motherboard has available.

My motherboard has 2 PCI Express slots (1 @ x8, 1 @ x16). Both are PCI Express 2.1. This card is PCI Express 3.0. With the backward compatibility of PCI, this card works in a PCI Express 2.0 and up slot. Since your motherboard supports an i7 processor, then it should have at least a PCI Express 2.0 slot in which to install this card, so yes it should work.

You should also be aware that your power supply does need to have 2 6-pin power connectors available in order to supply enough power to the card. Also the card will take up two expansion slots and is rather long, so make sure you have enough room inside your case to fit it.

Overall this is a fantastic card. Have not had any issues with it all. I bought this card to replace a 5770 whose fan was dying after about 3 years.

This card is a PCI express 3.0 card. Your motherboard supports PCI express 1.0 and 2.0. All pci  cards are backwards compatible with older pci slots. So, yes the card will work in your motherboard.

As for performance, it will be the best performance of the slot you place that card into. If you use a 2.0 slot, since the card is a 3.0 card, you will get 2.0 performance out of it. I am running mine in a 2.0 slot on a newer Gigabyte motherboard that supports an i7, and the card runs fine, with outstanding performance.

The card is 3.0 Express ready, nothing else is implied.  Like what the other person answered with, you are not limited to using a 3.0 express slot enabled motherboard.  You may still use a motherboard with PCI Express 2.0 slots.

I want to buy this, the GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2 AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard and the AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8320FRHKBOX. Are all three compatible?

(1) Your Motherboard has only 1  2.0x16 Video slot. Make sure this slot is not already taken or blocked out.  (2) You have a Micro ATX Motherboard which leads my to wonder what size case you have.  The Graphic/Video card in question is a fairly long card and will not fit into a Micro ATX Case.

My Advice:The (3) Devices are Compatable; However measure to see if the card will fit in your case.  Card measurement is 8.86" x 5.12".   Will a 8.86" (Length) card fit into your case ???????

It will not work with a 6 pin connector or even two 6 pin connectors. You MUST have two(2) eight(8) pin connectors. The specs even say 8+8-pin. I tried with one eight pin, and it will not boot. I tried with two six pins and it will not boot. You MUST have two 8-pin connectors.

Is the graphics card compatible with an alienware17m?

The Alienware 17M is a laptop, so no, you cannot install this card on it.  That's the trouble with gaming on a laptop.  You have very limited upgrade options.  You may want to look into the ViDock 4 Plus, which is an external enclosure that can house your video card and allow you to connect it to your laptop.

If I understand your question correctly as to the compatability of the card.  You need to have an x16 slot which the slot width is 2x.
Recommend at least a 500 Watt Power Supply. The card size is 8.86x5.12x1.5. Make sure your case is large enough for the card to fit. Make sure the power supply has at least one 2x6-pin connector. I do not recomment trying a crossfire with a different model, speed, and size of card. Try to Crossfire with matching cards if possible.  This is a very nice card. I have one in a AMD FX 6 core and an AMD 8 Core system. Mine runs at max res. with no lag. Running approx 72 fps on max. Very quiet ..stays in mid temp range. Great Value for the price after the rebate.
