1 out of 5 eggsExtremely Upset

Pros: It was a great card while it lasted.

Cons: The card broke right after the 30-day mark. This means that i am not able to return it or get a refund. Was not overclocked, not abused. Broke under Average LOAD!

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this card, it breaks very easily.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card! Be sure to measure your case though!

Pros: Runs next-gen games at max settings smoothly. I'm very impressed.

Cons: Hot, obviously, but we all knew that. It's also huge. REALLY huge. Do not assume that it will fit like I did.

Other Thoughts: Definitely measure how this thing will fit in your case. I figured "Hey, it's a video card, it definitely will fit. It's not too wide, yeah it's pretty tall, but it's the only card I have in there, right?"

NOPE. Watch your length too boys. I ended up having to pull out the pliers and sheet metal cutters to do a "manual override" on my case.

5 out of 5 eggsBEAST

Pros: Performance .... this is a powerful video card. yeah it draws a lot of power but runs every game like butter. A little tricki to set up on catalyst but thats AMD fault not Power Color.
A Corsair RM1000 is enough to power this baby. Thats what im using.
Nice gaming mouse , i dont really know hoy razer charge people 200 dollars for that mouse, it is great but not that great.

Cons: Not a con to me but it is heavy like 8lbs heavy. Sexy hell yeah.
I just wishes they give you more games, mine had the 3 bundle poster inside, but expired.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeded the Rosewill Hercules 1600 PSU

Pros: I run two of these video cards on an ASUS Z87-WS motherboard and an Intel Core i7-4770k Quad-Core CPU. I had to upgrade the power supply from a NZXT 1200w to a Rosewill Hercules 1600w, just like Matthew B. account below. Under the new PSU it booted without any problems and runs CrossfireX smoothly. I play Steam games and I run Folding@home at 820,000 PPD.

Cons: These air-cooled cards definately require a well-ventilated case. I prefer cases with 140mm fans above the graphics card area. I modified a Chieftec Bravo fulltower in this manner, and it saturates the two video cards with fresh cool air. This prevents hot spots and overheating.

Other Thoughts: Even one of these cards is capable of running a 2K monitor or a 4K monitor using HDMI or Display Port. Currently, I running a 1920x1080 Samsung Syncmaster SA950 with HD3D, but I want to upgrade soon to a 1440 monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsMONSTER of a card

Pros: Custom PCB, more power phases than normal reference 295x2 cards, no aweful looking CLC cooler, sick backplate, everything! Amazing looks and a sexy triple slot cooler. Did I mention this card looks incredible? Weighs nearly 5lbs and has the best packaging I have ever seen. Hits about 80c under HARD gaming which I consider low since the reference 290xs hit 94c! Overclocks well and loves wattage! Mad props to Powercolor for doing something everyone else was scared to do. This card is also super rare. They only made 250 of them! Bundled with a $125 mouse! Get this card people! I am rocking two of them in Quad-Fire! Make sure your case has LOTS of airflow inside and out.

Cons: People will complain about flickering and noise. Flickering is not the card's fault 95% of the time. It has been a proven AMD driver issue with certain displays and DP cables on dual GPU 290x cards.

Noise seriously? You people buy a monster triple slot air cooled card called the Devil 13 and expect it to be quite? haha. This card is incredible!

Other Thoughts: Awesome product.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat When it Works

Pros: When this card can launch games, it runs beautifully and relatively stable. 75 c under load is perfectly fine with me, and it's actually not that loud for being air-cooled.

Cons: I am having crazy stability issues. Half of the time I launch GTA V my display crashes and I lose display port signal, but it seems like when games are running they are very stable, but hitch from time to time. For example my frame rate will go down from 130 to 30, then back up again. This happens on multiple 4k monitors/cables from different manufacturers. Obviously this seems like a power issue that seems to manifest itself when the 2nd GPU engages. I have a EVGA supernova 1300W.

Other Thoughts: Help!

5 out of 5 eggsMind-blowingly powerful

Pros: This card is insanely powerful in terms of OpenCL computation (sorry, not using this for gaming). Having 5,600+ stream processors with the capability of cross-firing to another card is unbelievable. Consider this: two of these cards, with the proper board and supply will cost on the order of $1,500 dollars, but there are over 11,000+ streams processors; this is much more cost-effective than professional CUDA cards.

For our application, this card has provided a speedup of over 4-fold in comparison to our 1,028 stream core cards (R7800). Under full load, a computation takes about 2 days and using AMD Catalyst Control Center allows for good fan control, keeping the card at 48 C. This is pretty amazing for a desktop graphics card!

And the tech support is absolutely amazing (see cons, will explain the minor issue). Within hours of emailing the company they provided a thoughtful, thorough and helpful guide to troubleshooting!

Cons: PowerColor recommends the use of a 1,000 watt or greater power supply. For my system (FX-8350 OC to 4.77 GHz, Corsair h100i, Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 in an Antec 900 series case), the system wouldn't boot using a Corsair HX1050 power supply with the card installed. After a lot of trouble shooting, every component of the system worked fine, which indicated the need for a larger power supply. Dropping in the Rosewill Hercules 1600 solved the problem of no-boot. Using a UPS battery back-up to measure the draw, the system doesn't break 800 watt under full load, which leads me to believe the card needs a little extra power on start-up that the 1,050 watt supply couldn't provide. This is not a bad thing, for it would be advantageous to upgrade to a board that will properly accommodate two of these cards (need space between the PCI's to provide air flow), but just be aware that depending on your system power consumption that you may need a power supply upgrade.

With the fans at 100%, there is some noise, but that is to be expected.

Other Thoughts: This card has only been in operation a week, so time will tell how it holds up to being run at 100% 24/7 for 6 months straight. If anything happens, it will be posted in the review. As far as construction and current operating temperatures, there is little doubt that this card can handle anything thrown at it.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressed

Pros: This is the best price for performance card you can buy to date. It exceeded my explanations, crysis 3 GTA 5 at 1440p doesn't even strain this card. At 4k? 40-60fps smooth game play. there isn't a game out there you cant max out on this card, unless you have a triple 1440p or 4k monitor set-up. The build quality on this card will make you want to stare at it all the time. Its a beast of a card.

Cons: Its big and i mean HUGE, make sure you have room and great air flow in your case. Now it was a little buggy at first tying to get this card to function. I had to set-up a custom fan controller profile on river-tuner, because i wasn't comfortable with the temps. But the fans and heat pipes does a great job keeping the card under 75c on full load. It will be load though, if you want to achieve this in 4k. Of course its heavy, but if you like big bad monstrous GPU hardware, then it will not bother you.

Other Thoughts: Tech support was ok not the best but not bad. make sure you have an efficient power supply, top of the line. i have the evga 1600w T2.
