This is a great card, no doubt. But after maybe a few weeks of having hit, it just shuts off. I reset my overdrive to default but it still gets hot even with the fan on 70%. Is it my power consumption?

This card replaced my HD 6950 last November.  The 6950 makes no use of Radeon Settings in Crimson software.  I've installed and updated Radeon Settings with my new PowerColor card, and I'm currently using Version 16.5.3, a beta driver.  I haven't installed "Gaming Evolved" while performing the custom update, preferring to tweak settings in the game, itself.  I have my main display connected with DisplayPort 1.2, and I have Virtual Super Resolution (in Radeon Settings) set to 'on.'  GPU Scaling is on; and, Scaling Mode set to 'Preserve aspect ratio.'  In the game, Project Cars, I have the resolution set to 2560X1440, but that follows an adjustment to my screen resolution to 2560X1440 on the Windows desktop.  My monitor is only capable of 1080p resolution; but, with Virtual Super Resolution, I have the option of setting it to 1440 and above.  Most of my settings in this game are set to either High or Medium, and I have MSAA anti-aliasing 'on' while keeping FXAA and SMAA 'off.'  Hope this helps, because I was having your same issue.  With in-game tweaks and software updates I was able to overcome the issue of crashes, or suddenly shutting off.  Good luck!

What is the exact length of this card? My case can fit up to a 10.6in or 270mm.. will this fit?

The card is 10.5 inches long, it will be tight but it should fit in your case.
