1 out of 5 eggsBeware of drviers

Pros: Hardware looks good but the video drivers are so bad they're paper weights.

Cons: I installed three of them at the same time on different machines. Miserable video drivers. It keeps loosing the driver and defaulting to a windows standard driver forcing me to reload the driver every time I reboot. I downloaded a new driver But that driver corrupted on one machine within 24 hours effectively killing the OS. I can't even get it to run in Safe Mode. On another machine it still looses the driver when I reboot so it didn't help. The third machine I'm afraid to use. I need to find another vendor for workstation cards if this is any example. Worst video cards I ever owned.

Other Thoughts: Tech support was some guy in (newegg wouldn't let me say where) reading off a cheat sheet that didn't seem to know one end of a computer from another. Pointless waste of time. Wildly unimpressed for service on pro level cards.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent linux support

Pros: Excellent Linux support. It took me a little while to figure out some of the xorg.conf settings I needed but the script that ships with the driver did nearly all of the heavy lifting for me. Best of all the forum has amazing support. I'm running this card with dual heads @ 2560x1024 on Debian Etch.

Cons: Drivers are binary only still. Once nVidia puts out open source drivers they'll have it all.

Other Thoughts: I'm seriously considering buying one of these for home use too.
