5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for price

Pros: Card runs Star Trek Legacy with highest graphics settings. Doesn't run over 55 degrees C (about 130 deg F).

Cons: Had to upgrade 300w power supply b/c underpowered. nothing else.

Other Thoughts: For the price this card is great.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat graphics for the money

Pros: Plays all games just fine on medium setting with any hesitation. Huge improvement from on board video. Claims its Vista capable but haven't tried it out yet.

Cons: None. Installed without any problems and worked first try.

4 out of 5 eggsnot bad

Pros: Seems like a good starter card. Plays BF2142 just fine.

Cons: None. There wasn't a power connector on this card, which i thought was odd, i figured all new cards needed a direct power hook up.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a friends computer. When i build myself a new computer i might go with this again, cause it was cheap, and wait until the 8800 come down in price.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Overclocking!

Pros: Excellent Performance at stock!
Plays Oblivion Maxed out at 1024x768 with my PC below at stock! Just one of these!
The core has a lot of headroom!
Quiet!
Run Cool at stock!

Cons: Cooler isn't very good quality, except when running card at stock. anything at or above 1.5v will jump past 100*C...
No RAM cooling...
2.5ns RAM....
Stock Voltage OCing is sad...

Other Thoughts: I have been working with computers for over 5 years, and this was a large jump from my 6800GS, once I overclocked it.
Previous Score with my 6800GS Overclocked was 65k on Aquamark 3. Ran at 500/1230
Current score overclocked with a volt mod at 1.5v is 73.6k on Aquamark 3. Running at 700/900! Stable! (pencil mod)

Current Setup:

Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2.53GHz
Gskill DDR550 at 230FSB 2-3-3-6 1T
PNY 7600GS 256MB at 700/900

5 out of 5 eggsGreat stand alone card.

Pros: Not SLI ready but runs 90% of the stuff on the market by it's self on medium to high settings.

Cons: Not SLI ready-

It's starting to show age with large games.

Other Thoughts: Stays cool in most cases.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value card

Pros: Inexpensive, low power consumption, relatively quiet, good performance.

Cons: Some jitter/lag at highest game settings. Fan noise is audible, but not really annoying.

Other Thoughts: This is a great value card. Although it does not run perfectly smoothly at the highest game settings, how can you beat the price? Very adequate for most games, and just the slightest tweak downward from max settings smooths everything out. A plus is that it's very miserly on power. Only added another 7 watts to power draw compared to previous card. Also runs very cool, 49 deg C on 2D, about 54 deg C in 3D. All things considered, a great card for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: good card for a budget build. runs most all of my games smoothly with high settings. doom3 runs good but there is the occasional lag.

Cons: not SLi compatible :(

Other Thoughts: wish i had the extra bones to get at least the GT model but this one serves my needs.
