3 out of 5 eggsproblems....

Pros: Good performance for the money... best Nvidia card under $200.00.

Cons: I could not get this card to run properly, had to RMA. The card would not run most 3d apps... though it ran Doom3 flawlessly at max settings... wierd.

I tried several different driver versions, a bigger power supply, and updating my mobo BIOS.... no luck.

Other Thoughts: It seems there have been driver related issues with this card which may or may not be related to the problem I had.... I didn't find anyone else who suffered exactly the same problem as me so it might have just been a defective card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I was going to get the 8800 G92 board, but this one is faster and cheaper here at Newegg so why bother!? I'm playing Crysis with one card at 1400 resolution with almost everything set on high. 'nuff said.

Cons: non hardware related at all. card pertforms and priced right!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat value

Pros: very very fast. for a single gpu configuration that costed me 170 after rebate it doesn't get much better than this. i only have 2 gigs of ram and a e7200 all on stock and i still played crysis on all very high settings pretty smoothly very enjoyable. and if you have a faster cpu then it would have been even better. i maxed out need for speed prostreet, cod4, witcher, assassin's creed and played crysis on all very high with 1366x768 on my hdtv. make sure you have atleast 600watts. and this overclocks well from what i've heard but im already happy with the performance im sure the extra 100mhz wouldn't make much of a notible difference since this card kicks booty.

Cons: very large but don't swet it because i have a mid tower and it fit so as long as you have a descent sized mid tower you should be fine. th eprice has gone up recently i wouldnt buy this unless it was 200 minus 30 dollars in rebates or less. rightnow an ati 4850 is selling for 185 here on newegg and it performs better than this card and takes less energy plus you get avivo and ati is better with video image quality. that may be better but then again ati sucks with drivers so its a good deal to go either with the 9800gtx or the hd4850. not a true con though. this card is flawless as a standalone product buy it if its cheap enough!

Other Thoughts: dont do sli as i have done it before and usually you only see a 10-40% increase in performance for teh same price as two cards not a good deal. plus you have to buy a compatible motehrboard and psu. and ontop of that you will have to individually download patches for all your games to make use of the second card. too much money spent for a slight increase in speed thats highly dependant on whether the game recognizes the sli. in crysis i only saw a 5-9 fps increase kinda pitiful isn;t it? but this goes for all dual cards made by ati and nvidia so it has bothing to do with this product individually.

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth

Pros: Running Bioshock, Oblivion and Assassin's Creed on max settings. Smooth as silk and makes Bioshock look like a whole new game versus my old 7600gt. Nice price.

Cons: No really a con as it is what it is, but be ready to deal with the size. Blocked one of my HD slots but have two more so no big deal to me.

Other Thoughts: Used this for a new build and I am really am amazed at the quality of graphics on a new flatscreen. Easy driver install and quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Very quiet.

Cons: It is big. I have a full size case so it fit fine.

Other Thoughts: I'm not a hard core gamer. I wanted a nice card that didn't sound like a hair drier the 90% of the time I'm not gaming. This fit the bill, I'll let others comment on FPS.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Good for $200

Pros: Well it is a pretty good card overall. I am getting no less than 60fps in Tf2, Age of Conan, Call of Duty and no less than 30fps in crysis at 1280 x 1024 with everything cranked up until it looks ridiculous.

Cons: Huge card. I have a Radimax Smilodon case and i had to remove the hard drive cage so it would fit, and then i had to modify the "dirk-tooth" bar that runs across the side for video card cooling just for it to fit.

Other Thoughts: Pretty good overall performance. Kinda ticked though, i should have waited for the 4870 but what the heck.
system specs. Q6600 @ 3.2, pny xlr8 9800GTX, 4 gigs ddr2 800mhz, gigabyte dynamic energy saving mobo, 650w psu

5 out of 5 eggsPower-Solid Build

Pros: As usual, solid build by PNY. Powerful. Stable. Kicks the behind. Good value.

Cons: Huge. Blocks some hard drive space in antec 900. But I really don't need 6 hard drives hehe.

Other Thoughts: Asus P5Q Mobo, PNY 9800 GTX, Corsair 650TX PSU, E8400, G-skill PC2800 (8 gig), Seagate 500 Gig Barracuda, Samsung DVD, Vista 64 Home, Antec 900 plus add on Fan. Mobo @ 84 F, and CPU @ 110 F. Built for Warhamer Online.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet!

Pros: I can finally turn the grass on in oblivion! For that matter I can turn every setting up all the way on every game I've thrown at this card. It's friggin sweet! I tested the Crysis demo out and it was pretty smooth with every last setting on high and resolution up in the 1600's. I wasn't able to test the very high settings as they were grayed out for the demo. I am very happy with this card.

Cons: Cant think of any really.

Other Thoughts: It's huge.... but so what? I think theres actually a kitchen sink in there somewhere.
