5 out of 5 eggsEasy to install and good performance for the price

Pros: Runs all my games on max settings without getting too hot (SC2, Diablo 3, Skyrim, Borderlands 2)

Also very easy to install (which is good for me as I have limited technical knowledge)

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsNon existant Horrible support!

Pros: It was good when it worked which was for a total of 5 months. Then the HDMI port went bad and now there are intermittent issues with it.

Cons: THERE IS NO LIFETIME SUPPORT. I called them to report the problem and they said they no longer do live swaps. So essentially I have to send my video card in and wait for it to get fixed.

Here is the kicker. The tech support told me that the minimum turn around time is 4 TO 6 MONTHS. I have essentially thrown my hands in the air. What am I supposed to do for that amount of time waiting for my card to be fixed? Is this company for real? So much for a lifetime warranty!

Manufacturer Response:

PNY is sorry for any frustration that the product may have caused you. The GTX560 TI Video card is covered under a 1 year warranty and can be up graded to a life time warranty when you register your video card within 90 days of purchase at . After you register your card you are only required to keep your receipt and confirmation number that you receive after you have registered your video card. You will get the lifetime warranty. Regardless if PNY has stock on the product or not, and whether registered or not customer must keep their receipt to send in if they require warranty service.
The normal time for an RMA turnaround is usually 7-10 days, maybe longer with some exceptions but PNY will never take 4-6 months for an RMA to be returned to a customer. Please contact our tech support at 1-888-316-1193 or visit for assistance and replacement of your Graphics product.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome video card

Pros: This card works great for Battlefield 3, I can run it on High settings and usually get 45-60 fps, I've tried in on Ultra but it will sometimes dip below 30 fps then. Lately I've been running on Medium settings and getting 90-120fps and I can't really notice the difference in video quality, so... But I picked this up for $179 after MIR, so I wasn't expecting this to be top-notch but it is perfectly fine for casual gaming.

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: I recommend installing MSI Afterburner for OC'ing and video recording. It's free and works great!!

1 out of 5 eggsUnderwhelmed...

Pros: -Easy to install

Cons: -not the performance I was expecting

Other Thoughts: This was the first computer I built myself, and I may have missed something, but I am seriously disappointed by the performance of this card. On the Nvidia website it says that the optimal settings for Skyrim are basically "ultra" with 1920 x 1080 resolution and that I should be getting around 53 frames per second on those settings.

I was able to have the game run fairly smooth at a 1600 resolution with mostly low settings on. When I went with the "recommended" settings, it was incredibly choppy, even while just standing in the world.

I also noticed that the "Windows experience Index" seems to be really low (6.5), while my friend has a card from 2-3 years ago that scores a 7.3 or so.

I know these are largely un-scientific tests, but I was expecting a lot more from this card. Will update the review if I find the issue was mine.

5 out of 5 eggsUpgraded

Pros: Amazing card!!! Upgraded from a GTS 250s with only 512mb of dedicated ram and this thing is a beast! Right now, as I type, its running BF3 on the highest settings and never gets over 45 degrees C (although I do have an antec tower with plenty of airflow). It also runs skyrim on ultra settings and i believe 16x AA, also running SWTOR in highest with no lag at all, even in crowded areas, i am fully loving this card.

Cons: PNY costumer service sounded uninterested, but what can you do about that.

3 out of 5 eggsFaulty card

Pros: can run most games on max gfx
stays cool most of the time (see cons)

Cons: overheats and freezes when I play bf3. had to under-clock it to 800 MHz (stock at 900) just to play. Cant play at ultra gfx because of the underclock, but it doesn't heat and freeze at least.

Other Thoughts: I might have a faulty unit, but I think its too late to have them swap it out for another one.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best there is

Pros: Great and powerful performance can play any game out there with no problem. dont really need to say anymore about this video card the first line said it all. if your looking at buying a video card chances are your a gamer if thats so this is a great video card for the price all around great buy.

Cons: Its a big card might want to re think the space between your pci express slots if you want to run two video cards just a friendly reminder.

5 out of 5 eggsUpgraded

Pros: Replaced my GTX285(crapped out after 3 years). From my GTX285 to this model, can not tell much difference. It is a great GPU. Play Mass Effect 2 high settings, Skyrim high settings no AA. Couldnt be happier and especially for the price. Most likely going to SLI down the road if it goes on sale. No heat issues either. If wanting to upgrade and dont have the money for 570+ then this card will do you just fine.

Cons: only wish it was 2GB, but the 1GB still is sweet.

Other Thoughts: Recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent price-performance

Pros: This card is unfortunately very underestimated. I obtained mine for a ridiculous 189$ and got more than I paid for.
It can run BF3 in ultra settings (minus the AA) and Skyrim in Very High. This is all that I could hope for.
Also, it runs very cool and quiet. If your case has a good airflow, it'll most likely stay under 70 degrees under heavy load.
I wasn't expecting much from a company like PNY but I was very pleased in the end.
So far, no issues with the card whatsoever (drivers work perfectly, the card is stable day and night).

Cons: No cons so far! Will update if I have to deal with customer service in the near future.

Other Thoughts: Even if you're not getting the PNY, I'd recommend the 560 ti to anyone looking for a relatively cheap and powerful GPU.
I will buy another 560 ti once the prices go down a little bit, maybe next year, and thus get a very poweful SLI configuration that will cost me around 350 $ in the end (which is 200$ less than single GPU configuration that will run as many FPS - such as the 580 or HD6000 series)
