5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card

Pros: The best single slot card I could get at the time. Very nice frame rates for everything I play. You couldn't ask for much more even a year later.

Cons: No SLI.

Other Thoughts: Others have mentioned it being very loud but I haven't heard a peep. My hard drives might be overpowering the sound. Worked great in the dell workstation I have that has the mother board on the opposite side of the case, thus only having space for one pci opening. Too bad it doesn't have SLI, I would consider buying another.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Graphics Card for the Power Consumption and Price...

Pros: 305 Watt Power supply is Enough to run this; Low price; Great performance; Plug and Play; Skyrim runs at about 40-45 FPS on High-Ultra Settings on High Rez (720p); Tribes Ascend on Ultra runs full speed on high rez (720p);

Cons: A LITTLE bit loud;

Other Thoughts: My computer has a 305watt power spply and I wanted to get the best graphics card I could get because I didn't want to get a new power supply and everything... I had a hard time finding legit graphics card that DIDN'T need 400watts... I also wanted to get a card under $100 dollars... This card has met and exceeded my expextations, and it's a great graphics card... I wont need to upgrade my PSU anytime soon... Every game I throw at this GPU runs fantastically, and the only game I've not maxed out is Crysis 2 (Of course), and Battlefield 3... L4D2, TF2, AVP, Tribes Ascend, KF, Skyrim, etc. all run beautifully... the fan is a LITTLE loud but I got used to it after about an hour of using it... I dont know why everyone is over-exaggerating so much... to be honest, I thought for a while maybe the fan was not working cuz I could barely hear it, although I did Notice that a wire was in contact with the fan when I first opened it and I pulled it aside so maybe other people failed to notice that?

3 out of 5 eggsBudget Card

Pros: Works great, cheaper than the others, fits well, does not heat up too much.

Other Thoughts: All the other reviews are correct about one thing, THIS THING IS LOUD!
It plays the older games with ease, and the medium demand games well. Have not done any serious gaming.
I just wish the fan was quieter. I am considering buying a new video card because of it. I hate noise.
Buyer beware of the relentless fan.

2 out of 5 eggsReally bad fan

Pros: Good card for the price. Runs everything I throw at it.

Cons: Fan is LOUD. I saw reviews and didnt think it would be a problem, but it is. This fan (speed cannot be controlled with any program) runs about 5X louder than my 3 case fans and CPU fan put together. At this point I am going to need to buy a new fan for it. I am running it in a HTCP case, and I have to turn the TV louder than I normally listen just to begin to be louder than the fan. Fan appears to be running at 100% all the time, and there is no way to change the speed via software.

Other Thoughts: Its a trade off. Great card, really loud fan. If you want to buy this card add the cost of buying a new fan before you consider buying. Or have a small airplane in your house :)

2 out of 5 eggsloud and used

Pros: needed a card for my htpc to replace a gts250 so i could free up an expansion slot for an i/o panel. accomplished that goal without a noticeable decrease in performance for day to day htpc operation.

Cons: loud fan, unless the volume is up on tv or video the fan is noticeable even at 15 feet, louder than the gts250 i had in there :/

Other Thoughts: i was sent a used card...i know this because the loud fan provoked me into looking more closely at the heatsink and fan where i saw a layer of dust both on the underside of the fan blades and on the exposed pcb between the heatsink fins. i'd say at least a few weeks worth of dust in a typical unfiltered case. the card was probably returned because of the noise and repackaged for sale as new.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card for money

Pros: Single slot card
Fan keeps card cool, you can hear it run but its not that loud
$62 with MIR
the length is short witch is good for smaller cases

Cons: The fan that the card had on it was different from this one, the one that was on mine smaller and with a silver instead of black heat sink

Other Thoughts: I get about 150-200 fps on CS:S with a duel core and 3gb of ram on windows 7 witch I got 15 with on-board :)

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: A great graphics card for mid range gaming for a low price.
Currently it's the highest end card you can buy from Nvidia that doesn't require any supplementary power and it is compact lengthwise thus making a great upgrade for a stock pc.

Cons: Comes with a hurricane emulator built in. In other words, a VERY loud fan. It will annoy you and who ever you're video chatting with with it's turbine, which also happens to stand so far apart from that card that it blocks other PCI ports. I Recommend not buying this PNY version.

Other Thoughts: Overall a card that turns out great graphical performance at a fair price. But it actually takes up two slots and it will annoy you with its noise level. If you're looking for silent but strong, this is not for you

4 out of 5 eggsdecent graphics

Pros: cheap!!
does 1080p
hdmi, vga, and dvi outputs
CUDA and PHYSX chips

Cons: not the most powerful card on the market

Other Thoughts: for casual gaming, and for playing 2+ year old games. you're not gonna see stellar framerates playing Deus Ex: HR.

Buy this card for your budget media center PC.
