5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: - Runs fast for it's model range
- In 2012, still able to run all the modern game in full settings on single card, Crysis 2 DX11 in SLI

Cons: - Somewhat noisy and hot with stock cooler

Other Thoughts: Instead of investing in new cards, invested in aftermarket cooling solution (arctic cooling) for both cards in my SLI config (costed 90$ both). Now I have almost silent and cool system at 720Mhz, able to handle almost everything on the game market

1 out of 5 eggsDarn it

Pros: Worked good when it worked.

Cons: Worked 13 months and just quit. I keep the fans and heat sink clean. It just went blank. Heck of a waste of money, I've never had a cheap video card quit. Won't buy PNY again.

5 out of 5 eggsRefurbished Goodness

Pros: specs, price, temp, power usage.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: bought this gtx 460 under the radar for $104 last year. runs wonderfully. p3674 @ 833mhz with 1666mhz memory. idles 26C. full load for 4 hours, hits 60C. with the fan @55%. no longer available, which is sad.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat graphics, great price.

Pros: Solid value that has good overclocking potential.

Cons: It's more expensive than it was when I bought it 8 months ago.

Other Thoughts: I bought this graphics card a while back for $120. I was immediately blown away by it. I managed to OC it almost 20% inside of my budget microATX case with poor ventilation. However, I cannot recommend this at its current price as there are better alternatives out there. For instance, the AMD 7770 costs roughly the same price, is brand new, and has marginally better performance.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Right Thing To Do

Pros: Performs as expected. Runs games like a boss. Runs F@h 24/7 at below 70C.

Cons: When the fan kicks up, it gets a little noisy. But that's to be expected so I consider this an insignificant con.

Other Thoughts: I wish I would have bought two of these. SLI would be nice.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, great price.

Pros: This is a great card at a great price. For $104, I got much more than I expected. It runs Skyrim, Battlefield, and Total War Shogun II like a champ, max settings.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood product for a great price.

Pros: Price - Only 110-ish dollars with shipping for a usually much more expensive card if brand new.

Going hand in hand with that is the performance. For a 110 dollar card, it can't be touched. Runs Skyrim on High and Starcraft II on Extreme settings. Haven't thrown much else at it yet, but expect it to last me quite a long time.

On a plus side, this card is also about an inch shorter than my old EVGA 9800GTX+ that it replaced, which I was quite happy with.

Cons: Taking up 2 6-Pin power cables does kinda bite, so if you plan on running SLI with these then you better have a pretty hefty PSU. Thankfully I still have a few left on my Alienware PSU, so if the time ever came to improve upon, I can. However it DOES come with a adapter cable in case you need an extra 6-pin to run her, hence why I didn't take an egg off for this.

The packaging is pretty generic due to it being a Recertified deal, but does it's job well.

One thing I must note that hopefully won't become an issue later on is that when I pulled up GPU-Tool to stress test this card, the clocking speeds were all registering as being extremely low (150Mhz core, 50Mhz shader, 100Mhz memory), and about a minute or so into the stress test my computer rebooted. The really weird thing about this was when I pulled up the clocking speeds in EVGA Precision, they were all right were they are from the factory. I think GPU Tool just doesn't recognize this card.

Other Thoughts: I usually don't use PNY products too often, as I have always been found of EVGA's performance and quality control. This card however definitely makes me consider purchasing more PNY products, as it is a solidly built, good performance card that I haven't had any real issues with yet. If you plan on OCing the card farther than the factory specs, you may need to find a program other than GPU tool, as I didn't have any luck using that.

But yes, this card is most definitely worth every penny. :)

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing overclocker

Pros: OC's right out of the box from 675 to a hefty 825 MHz core clock, a 25% increase in performance. There's still space to push it further too. This increased my 3DMark06 score from 13k to 19k from a stock 8800 GTX. Max temp was 69C while running 3DMark06 - this is what my 8800 GTX idles at. :p

Cons: Some chipping on the plastic case and some peeling on the sticker, but these are very minor defects.

Other Thoughts: Of course I had some doubts buying a recertified GPU, but this card thankfully runs great. For $104, it's certainly a steal while it was still in stock. ;)

5 out of 5 eggsA Overclocking tool for this 460

Pros: I noticed some people have been haveing problems with a clocking tool. I sugest highly useing the MSI AFTERBURNER program. It is very good and keeps good controle of most cards that NVIDIA makes. I did use it on my ATI card and well basicaly Catalist doesnt like anything to mess with its settings. Anyhow. Want to Bump it up or have it controle the fan while you decided to play Battlefield 3 or anything. Afterburner is probably 1 of the top ranked out there atm.

Cons: Wish i had another 1 of these 460's... New egg HOLD ME 1 .
