5 out of 5 eggsgreat card for the money

Pros: very fast in sli

Cons: noisey fans
newer style shown on pny website.
drivers dont work for sli

Other Thoughts: these are a great card for the money. not the referance style shown in picture but can live with that. if using sli bridge use drivers( 290.36 beta) as other reviewer has stated. and restart computer before use. fans are noisey but you can expect that for this kind of card. if you have a gaming rig its most like noisey anyways.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: I went from an ATI 5770 to this. I've mostly been playing BF3 and thus the reason I pulled the trigger on this card. Installed, loaded drives and no issues at all. All I can say is, this thing chews up BF3 @ 1920x1080 resoultions. I can run everything high and average 70FPS. It can run all ultra but I think the low V-Ram hurts the card on ultra. On ultra I get 35-40 average but the game just doesn't feel as smooth as when all set to high. Card was recieved in excellant condition for a refurb.

Cons: Was not the card in the picture but it's still a GTX570 non the less. Picture is a referance card and I recieved a non-referance. The picture on PNY's web site is the correct picture of the card I recieved. It's my understanding the non-referance cards O/C better anyway.

Other than that no issues at all. Awesome card for the price.

Other Thoughts: I've never owned a NVidia card but have had zero issues so far. I just wish the refurbed GTX580 was $260 :)

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid this Card, even if its free!

Pros: Well I did get to the desk top, I guess that causes for an egg.

Cons: After drivers installed I loaded up my game CSS and not even 3 seconds the screen went black. I restarted the computer and tried intalling three other drivers including the disk that came with the card before RMA'ing it

Other Thoughts: Sized up to my PNY 9800GTX+ (which has the 55nm GPU) they were the same size. Not the same card in pic. fan is closer twards the side with video connections. I know my power supply has ample juice: 750W with 2x 6 pin connectors and 2x 8 pin connectors. This is a recertified card? And whom is overpaid person checking these cards this is unacceptable. I have to pay to have it shipped to me and pay to have it shipped back. wasting my time and my money does not make me a happy camper. PNY Should have recalled these cards.

4 out of 5 eggsDifferent Card then Shown

Pros: Great price and fast shipping. 5 eggs for as always. Good packing and cards in good shape for being refurbished.

Cons: Different card then shown in picture. Not a big deal but I kind of wanted the one that was shown in the picture. O well

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: Does everything I expect it to. I saw the iffy reviews so I stress tested the hell out of this card just incase I needed to RMA through Newegg. It idles around 30-34 celsius and hits 70-75 eventually under stress. No issues whatsover and got it at a bargain price.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsBeta Drivers cleared it up!

Pros: I can get 2 cards for the price of one 580, and with the NF200 chip on the ROG Maximus board, it SMOKES one 580! Had some issues initially, but then downloaded the new Nvidia beta drivers (290.36), and it is now PERFECT!

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost Perfect

Pros: Massive amount of onBoard Memory, fast DDR5, 1 of these is light two of my GTX 275s. Everything is more pretty in DX11 vs DX10.

Cons: The card had a bent chassis the metal cards you would line up against the bad of the case were bent. In order to fit properly I had to bend them back as much as I could to the original shape. This is why I dropped the egg count down to 4 instead of 5. I know its a refurbed but it shouldn't need to be rebent to fit right... :)

2 out of 5 eggsA Bargain or a Gamble?

Pros: Worked immediately. No fussy installation. Did what I wanted to, making this build quick and easy with no initial complications. Nicely packaged, comes with SLI cable.

Cons: Freezes! Locks up! Crashes! All these things happen! Boot up a game, marvel at the graphics for about three minutes (often less) and then your computer locks up, sometimes recovering back to desktop saying you have a display driver crash but more often than not not requiring a complete restart of your computer. I've tried everything: reseating, new drivers, old drivers, beta drivers, etc. The problem only fixed when I stuck another old video card into my computer

Doing some research you discover that the non-recertified version on Newegg has a very bad review average. Many people experience these same problems and Googlying PNY's 570GTX also reveals the same thing. A few people have good video cards, but, far more often than any company should be comfortable with, there are too many issues with crashing and lockups when loading and playing.

Also if you're relying on PNY's warranty or customer service, don't try overclocking/underclocking/altering fan speeds of your card. It voids

Other Thoughts: i7 2600k
Gigabyte Z68-UD3
16GB DDR3 1600 G-Skill Ram
