5 out of 5 eggsAll-Around Performer

Pros: Eats up anything I can throw at it. I haven't done any framerate testing, but I've seen no visible hiccups in any games I've been playing recently (Civilization V, Crysis, Modern Warfare) at high/very high settings at 2560x1440 resolution.

Although not what the card is intended for, I also do a fair amount of CAD and Photoshop work on the machine in which the card is installed. It performs flawlessly.

Cons: Big in the case, but anyone buying this card should be prepared for that.

Pricey, at least when I bought it, but it wasn't a concern.

Other Thoughts: Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D - PSU: Corsair HX850 - MoBo: Asus Sabertooth X79 - CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K @3.2GHz - Heat Sink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 - SSD: 240GB Intel 520 Cherryville - Video: PNY GeForce GTX 680 2GB PCIe 3.0 - Monitor: Dell U2711 @2560x1440

5 out of 5 eggsThey work great

Pros: I bought 2 of these cards and they work great. i have had no issues with them whats so ever. i have a 3 way sli setup with my 3rd card being an evga one. All my games ran on ma settings 1080p when i only owned my evga gtx 680 so with these 2 added in to my rig of course my games r going to run even better and consistent at max fps the games supports with vsync.
Using the fan curve with evga precision x helps alot with keeping my cards at good temps. the only card that gets the hottest would be my 2nd one mainly because of the small amount of space the intake fan has since the 3rd card is right in front of it but i haven't seen it go higher than 63c and that was when i was running a 2 hour stress test

Cons: the con would be the price since it is $80 more than my evga card but i didnt feel liek waiting any longer at the time of purchase so i just bought these so i cant take off a n egg for that

Other Thoughts: 1 week after i received these the evgx gtx 680's were all in stock and stayed in stock for a long time even till this point they have released alot more and better cards but oh well im happy with my current cards

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This card is incredibly powerful! I get around 65 frames per second in BF3 on ultra settings and at a 1680x1050 resolution. It runs somewhat cool, Mine idles at 32°C and its quiet.

Cons: My card has coil whine when the GPU usage is at 100%.

5 out of 5 eggsWarranty

Pros: n/a

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I just wanted to clear up something regarding warranty, the warranty here says its 3 years, but if you look at their website after you register the card through PNY it is extended to a lifetime warranty ONLY for the original owner. Although XFX, visiontek which are the only 2 lifetime warranty manufactures left for Ati/amd cards have a similar procedure. So if you want a life time warranty go for PNY what do you got to lose?

5 out of 5 eggsThe only lifetime warranty

Pros: Great card playing around with it so far using evga precision got the boost to 1188 no problems at all good looking card nice quality

Cons: had to wait for pny to ship 11 days

Other Thoughts: I called pny to verify the warranty and was told its covered for the life time i own the card not production life which is important to me since i always put my outdated card in the family pc no more evga just register within 90 days of purchase for the price we are paying for these cards the warranties need to be out there and i guess lifetime is on its way out

5 out of 5 eggsParadigm shift?

Pros: Amazing graphical performance. Innovative energy efficiency design. This was a very simple and easy install. The drivers worked perfectly with no technical glitches and none of my games have dropped below 60 FPS at 1920 x 1080 with max settings yet. I will need to go get a new (or several new) higher resolution screen just to push this hardware to what it's really capable of doing. DisplayPort out a plus.

Cons: The Nvidia control panel isn't super intuitive, but that's not a fault unique to this product. Supply is an issue (obviously). I purchased mine from PNY directly for $499 after MIR. Now the price is up $50 to $579 with the same $30 MIR. Why? Because too many people want this top of the line card. This card however does not lose an egg for price. $550 is probably well below what Nvidia could have set as an MSRP.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card for my first full system build. Because it arrived several weeks before my newegg order I was able to test in a 2+ year old Asus with an Intel i7 920 and a gene II mobo. The improvement over the gtx 260 I had before was impressive, so it works well in old systems. Even better with the new i7 3820 and Asus P9X79 Deluxe though. No problems during either build and as I say it runs quite and cool.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Quiet

Pros: Runs fast and quiet. Curent Drivers seems solid and knowing Nvidia should only get better.

Cons: Still hard to find available a month after launch.

Other Thoughts: I bought this original reference design board. We are already starting to see new designs with larger fans that will surely allow faster clocks for more performance and low noise at load.

1 out of 5 eggsRed Screen Of Death!!

Pros: Ummm looks nice.

Cons: RSOD constantly. Won't work at all. After windows starts up it takes about 5-10 seconds and the screen goes bright red and sticks. Runs with drivers disabled or in safe mode only. I have disabled all non essential start up utilities. Cleared off all old drivers and run driver sweeper in safe mode. Checked and made sure all connections were clean and secure ect...

Not sure if this is a card failure or driver conflict with my system. Seems many people with other brands as well are having the same issue. Not sure who to pin the blame to if there is any blame to pin yet. No real support help as this problem seems to still be in the denial phase with most the vendors and nvidia them selves at the moment. Reminds me of the Sandforce issue I had early last year with no one wanting to admit there is an issue yet. Hope it gets sorted out as I sold all my other cards to buy this one so I am *OL until this is resolved.

Other Thoughts: Seems most people are doing well with this card but there is enough info about RSOD for the gtx 680 online that you might want to wait on pulling the trigger until the issue is properly addressed but I am a realist and in all honesty this card is so hot right now that my words will most likely fall on def ears. Supposed to be an awesome card if I can get the thing to work.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Can support games in surround with 3 1920x1080 monitors at max settings on the most modern titles while averaging around 28-45 frames per second.
Needless to say, extremely powerful
Runs cool
Looks fantastic
HDMI cable included

Cons: It's large, but that's a given. This is the first card I've had to remove 2 hard drives to fit into the machine. That's fine though, because I just had to migrate the drives to alternative bays.

It was out of stock here, so had to buy from tiger direct.

Other Thoughts: I would have preferred a lower price without having to go through rebate steps, and I would have liked a lifetime warranty.
