  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology4. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 13 months and PNY wouldn't warranty!

Pros: Worked ok for a little over a year. Played most games at max settings on 1680x1050.

Cons: Unbelievable that the card would just die after 1 year. I had proof of purchase from Newegg and I thought it had a lifetime warranty, but because I didn't "register" the card at PNY website, they would not honor the warranty. Plus, out of the box, the card lacked a serial number sticker that was needed to register, although I did not realize it because there were 3 other stickers on the card! I will never buy a PNY product again.

Other Thoughts: Terrible experience with PNY. Would not recommend any of their products after this experience.

3 out of 5 eggsFast but Loud

Pros: The card handles latest drivers well. Plays BF3 on ultra with 60-70 FPS. Room for overclocking, I have had no need to.
Triple monitor setup on (3) 25" is sick at 5760x1080 with only half the FPS loss, just lower settings. Limited lifetime warranty.

Cons: Runs hot , must use Afterburner, Precision, etc. to keep fan speeds high enough to cool properly (typical of most cards).
Fan noise at anything above 60% is the loudest I've ever heard from any card. Thought it may have been defective but others are complaining also. I can hear the fan while gaming with headphones on, yeah that bad. Planetside 2 cooks this card on high and must run on high fan settings.
Warranty is voided if you remove stock cooler and strip the color off the mounting screw, which I will do after one year of use or purchase another 670.

Other Thoughts: Remember this is a reference card with no OC and stock cooling. A dual fan model with better noise reviews would be a better purchase. If you get a good price(300 or less) and don't mind noise this will work. 670 is a great price point for moderate gamers. Runs most games maxed out. Waiting for BF4?...this should handle it.

4 out of 5 eggspretty good

Pros: Pretty good when installed. Ran all my games at full settings no problem. games run great and smooth.

Cons: 6 months later I have heating issues. Locks up my computer so I have to do a forced reboot. All my normal games like dead island will now lock up my computer due to over heating at random times.

Other Thoughts: The stock fan is rather loud so I would advise replacing if affordable.

4 out of 5 eggsExactly what I expected

Pros: It's a GTX 670 - read the benchmarks if you don't know, but this is one of the fastest single GPU cards you can buy right now.

It exhausts hot air outside of the case.

Cons: No fancy add-ins or overclocking software, but this can be found from other places for free. You get the card and that's about it.

Other Thoughts: EVGA is my preferred graphics card vendor for nVidia, but we'll see how it withstands the test of time. Several months with zero issues so far. For the price I got it at, it was unbeatable. No regrets.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card, poor longevity

Pros: The card get 60fps at 1080p is just about all recent games at high or ultra settings.

Cons: The card started displaying constant artifacts at all times after about 3 months. It was not an overheating issue, as I set a custom fan profile to keep the card cool. I RMAed the card to PNY, but unlike some of their competitors, they make you pay for the shipping 1 way. I'm just glad I bought this when it was 320$ to compensate.

Other Thoughts: The card is great, but PNY's customer service and RMA process is quite lacking. If this is important to you, you should probably get another card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for Price

Pros: Great card so far, handles BF3 on ultra with no hiccups which is nice. Skyrim is running perfectly as well, never any screen tearing drop in my fps. Card doesn't get hot(even after extended periods of time 4-8 hours of constant use) and unlike a lot of the reviews that I've read, the fan hasn't been that loud. Limited lifetime warranty is always nice too.

Cons: So far so good, we'll see how it holds up.

Other Thoughts: Great card, got it on sale so it was a great deal. Would deff recommend this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for your buck

Pros: First off, This thing runs everything I can throw at it. I replaced my GTX 560 with this 670. I play all my games on the highest settings with my native monitor res of 1900x1080.
So far I've owned it for about a 2 months. No need to RMA, worked right out of the box. I would suggest getting EVGA's Precision X for fan control if anything.

Cons: Sounds like a Jet taking off when fan is around 70%.
Not a Gigabyte.
Wasn't Free.
The $150 in game code I received would have been better used for toilet paper. (I think it's a joke) never worked from the start.
Haven't recieved my MIR...

Other Thoughts: I would recomend this card to a friend. For the money it really works fine. If you're into benchmarking this may not be the card for you.

1 out of 5 eggsPNY video card

Pros: my PNY video card was awesome and fast.

Cons: PNY tech support is horrible. My cards fan stopped working making it overheat and shut down my computer. When I emailed, they could not find my registration and therefore no warranty support, even though i have my invoice.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the Money

Pros: First of all, I'd like to say this is a great card. I got it on sale for 350 with a 50 dollar rebate. For 300 bucks, there is no better value for your money with high performance cards. The card itself is lighter than you would think, it does not produce excessive heat compared to my old GTX 275, and it surprisingly sucks less power.

Cons: The major con with this card is its ability to overclock. The 670 as a card can overclock very well, but compared to other 670s my card does not overclock very well. I may have just gotten a sub-par card, but I cannot get even close to what an EVGA or Gigabyte 670 can do (I have 1000W PSU so that's not the problem). Additionally, it's just a big card. No way around it and obviously expected. Just be aware.

Other Thoughts: The only reason this card gets 4 stars is because it does not overclock comparably to other 670 brands. But like I said, extremely satisfied with this buy. You WILL NOT get a better value than this card.
