The PNY GeForce GTX 780 comes with 3GB of GDDR5 graphics memory and a massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU of 2304 cores. Featuring Nvidia’s outstanding technology and game-ready capabilities such as GeForce Experience, this graphics card delivers deeper, richer and more immersive gaming than you can get anywhere else. Enable massive firepower with NVIDIA SLI technology, and play games more quietly with the whisper-quiet cooler.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls — including GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage — to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760x1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision, and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest-edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg Game-ready Capability The PNY GeForce GTX 780 comes with extraordinary game-ready capabilities; GeForce Experience software ensures the best gaming, right out of the box. It offers automated game settings based on your individual PC with a single click, and game-ready drivers to maximize gameplay the day a PC title releases.

5 out of 5 eggsMuch Fast, So Mhz...

Pros: Some say, having just one, is enough.
Other say, that there is no reason to get one over a 770.
All I know, is it is not the Stig, but it is the Stigs weapon of choice in his Racing Simulator...

Quiet, fast, solid built, sort of sexy (in a nerdy hardware way). The drivers have gotten more solid with each version. Streaming to an Nvidia Shield is flawless, and paired with a 2nd GTX 780, SLI works nearly flawlessly with tons of games. 3D Vision also has continued to slowly improve and with 2 GTX780's the Frame Rate never becomes an issue (unless the game is poorly programed to not take advantage of SLI or more than 1 CPU core, which is still sadly more common then it should be).

Cons: Nvidia had to go out and release a new Ti version shortly after I purchased my 2nd one. For the price I paid vs what the new Ti offers, I don't feel ripped off, but I am disappointed that they needed a Ti between the plain 780 and the Titan in the first place. It is cruel marketing to make a "Top of the Line" card, and its only a nerfed version of the real "Top of the Line" card that they release later. It extends the market life of a Core design, but still burns a little.

Other Thoughts: While one of these cards are still good for almost anything right now, 2 or more are even better. SLI 780's are nearly essential for 4K gaming or Surround gaming and overall, having no issues with Frame Rate or stutter in any current or future game for the next few years is always a big plus.

5 out of 5 eggsShocked

Pros: Shockingly Fast. I was aw struck when I first got this card up and running. Batman: Arkham Origins 60 FPS maxed. WoW looks beautiful and stays at 60 FPS maxed. Really excited for the expansion to see what this card can (probably easily) do. This card is amazingly quite. I honestly can not here a thing. Really good bang for your buck.

Cons: Snug fit, But it skinned by perfectly. does run warm after excessive game play usage.

This has nothing to do with the card hence the 5 star rating. When I wen't to purchase this card it said i would receive assassin's creed black flag as a bonus gift. I got really excited for a new game to test out the new power on my hardware. Delivery day came and no black flag. however I did call new egg and they said they were out of stock and offered me Batman Arkham Origins. I would have rather had Black flag but Free is Free =D.

Other Thoughts: This has nothing to do with the card hence the 5 star rating.

The Devilery service ( that was a pun for delivery lol =D ) Service OnTrac is one of they most lowest rated delivery services i have ever seen. I was really worried about my package do to the fact that i live in a studio apartment that is locked off from the community. I called new egg to change carriers but i was to late it was already shipped. The tech asked if i would like to recall it and they would ship it though some one i found more reliable, But it was already half way here. So he re-insured me that if anything were to happen i would be reimbursed for my package. So i called OnTrac to give them instructions to call me when they get here and i will go down stairs to receive the package. Delivery day came and they did just what I asked. I received a call that my package had arrived. I took no more then 3-5 mins to get dressed and go down stairs to pick my package up. There was no one at the door? I looked around out side and he just left it out side the door (I don't live in the most honest community). I thought to my self, kinda funny, Shouldn't i have signed for this or something. Just as i look up they start driving out of the complex and he catches me picking up the package. His EXACT WORDS WERE *Irritation in his voice* Yeah your supposed to sign for that.... He honestly was upset that i came down stars and got the package before he could dip off. It takes less then a few secs for some one to decided um i'm just going to grab that and run. Only good thing would have been i didn't sign for the package so he couldn't put that b.s. on me. This is an Honest shout out to NEW EGG. ((((STOP.... USING..... ONTRAC...))))

5 out of 5 eggsThis card.

Pros: This card performs very well, I bought the PNY card for the "lifetime" warranty and I honestly liked the aesthetics of the card. This is actually my first GPU purchase and this card performs superbly. I upgraded from an AMD HD 7700 and the power difference is staggering... As I expected but this card is awesome and quiet, and I've had no problems with it yet.

Cons: Huge.. Make sure you measure the space you have in your case before buying this card. I have a mini tower and got pretty lucky because I'm not using any of my expansion slots.

Other Thoughts: This card gives what you pay for, and I'm nothing but impressed with how well it performs.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdated review on PNY GTX 780 3GB

Pros: Awesome and Amazing. Have had this card for three weeks as of today. Took me months to save up the money for this card and is worth the wait and every penny. Have played the games bundled with the card and they all look and play extremely well. Have all settings on ultra. If you can afford this card buy it. If you can't save your money and buy it. You will not be disappointed. Running this card with an i7 4770 and 16 gigs of Corsair 1600 ram. Thanks Newegg and PNY.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsI'm in love with a gtx 780 & i don't care who knows it!

Pros: Looks, feels, smell and performs like a dream. (Ms. all that) is an absolute beauty. I'm a singer, song writer, producer, videographer. The rendering time on my vids are so ridiculously low now and this is at stock speed. I was a bit skeptical about all the rave about this card but its all true. Get this card you will not be disappointed.

Cons: I didn't buy two...for the ascetics of my rig.

Other Thoughts: have 2 gtx 560 ti in my other rig...cant wait to replace them with a 780.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate to my previous review. Still a great card!

Pros: My graphics card is still running well with my overclocks and after playing with the fan curves a bit, I've found the perfect setting for me thus giving me the middle ground between quiet and efficiency.

Cons: None so far. I guess it's dumping a lot of heat into my room overall? loljk

Other Thoughts: Correcting a typo in my previous review, I've actually overclocked the memory to 1750mhz. Since GDDR5 is twice the speed of GDDR3, 7000mhz is achieved by 1750x4.

My fan profile doesn't seem to save when I exit the overclocking utility. Perhaps it's just a software bug and will be fixed very soon.

5 out of 5 eggsFor reference cards, pick this. Period.

Pros: Specifically looking at reference cards only? Perhaps for those SLI solutions? Stop looking and buy this one. For the price, this card offers great performance, value, and overclocking headroom.

I have my overclock solid stable at 1200 core and 1575 mem (the almighty 7000mhz effective memory that the GTX770 possesses)

This card over 1000 core immediately beats the Titan at stock speeds, while costing over $300 less!!

Cons: I am a honest enthusiast giving a honest review; some people are really overrating the reference cooler. It's really not THAT quiet.. Its fan rpm is definitely improved and very stable without the dips and spikes.

But the fans begins to be faintly audible at precisely 50% and at least 70% is needed to keep it below 80c while overclocked and overvoltaged to ensure stability. >80% is literally a jet engine.

Perhaps I may be a bit too sensitive but I'd like to put that information out there for everyone's decision.

Other Thoughts: This is the best choice for reference coolers simply for its lifetime warranty. $650 is quite an investment and adequate protection is certainly favorable.

One may never know when their card will suddenly stop working after 5 years or so.

P.S. For those who may or may not know, these cards are voltage locked. They can overvolt but up to 1.2v max.

Thanks to anyone for reading and good luck finding the right card for you! But for reference GTX 780, look no further.

Cons: Didn't buy two.
