The GeForce GTX 760 transforms your games with a fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The PNY VCGGTX7602XPB-OC features a massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU of 1152 Cores and 2GB GDDR5. Plus it's factory overclocked to 1111MHz (standard 980MHz) Base Clock and 1176MHz Boost Clock (standard 1033MHz) for more fps in the hottest titles.

Beyond raw performance, it is perfectly tuned to today's most advanced gaming technologies, like GeForce Experience for one click driver and setting optimization - you'll get the best gaming right out of the box – and NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics. Nothing will hold you back from taking on, and dominating, your most challenging games.

  • newegg GeForce Experience The easiest way to optimize your games and keep your drivers up to date, the GeForce Experience application automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you’ll be able to update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, e-mail, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Technology Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) is a new anti-aliasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing), is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

Runs quiet.
Reasonable priced.

5 out of 5 eggs4 Months Strong

Pros: Worked right out of the box, installation was clean

Cons: Not a PNY thing, but the NVIDIA control panel to "optimize" games is meh.

Other Thoughts: About to buy a second one to SLI. I can get games to play at a mix of High to Medium (more towards the "High" side). SLI should make it a beast, and give my 1200 watt PSU something to work for.

3 out of 5 eggsThe Good, The Bad and the Ugly

Pros: The good was that when it worked the card was excellent. Newegg filled the order and had it on the door step at the exact time they said it would be there.

Cons: The bad was that when it hit high end it would crash no matter what I did. New drivers, old drivers, beta drivers, benchmark programs all produced the same results. The ugly was the PNY Tech Support. They were extremely slow to answer emails. I was tasked with performing tests and reporting results (I don't know what would have happened if I wasn't knowledgeable). Then when they were satisfied something was wrong, they told me to send the card back at my expense where their techs would "check it out" and if the found a defect they would replace the one I sent. If they couldn't find anything wrong they would ship it back, at my expense. All this after I did all the testing and reported the results.

Other Thoughts: It would have all been a bad experience if it hadn't been for Newegg. They stepped in when they didn't have to, took the bull by the horns and made the situation right.

5 out of 5 eggsneeds more power

Pros: Beautiful frame rates and resolution. Easy to get the latest drivers set up in Linux Mint:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install nvidia-current

All my games from the Steam store run very nicely. Hi-Def MKV videos are gorgeouse.

Cons: nVidia still lags AMD in one respect: HDMI audio is a bear to get working in Linux! Even older AMD cards don't have that issue.

You'll push your luck with a 500W PSU. I burned out a Corsair 600W (Good for Corsair! It didn't hurt anything else in the system as may have happened with a lesser quality brand.) after about two weeks. Get a high-quality 750W or higher if you use one of these cards.

Other Thoughts: My trouble may have been a defective PSU, but I doubt it. Since dropping in an EVGA SuperNOVA 750W PSU (pretty darn cheap from the Egg!) there's been absolutely no issues like were seen with that poor little 600W box. I thought I'd get away with it since there wasn't a lot of hardware running and I didn't over-clock anything. Not so.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs great, can handle all of my games on ultra-high depending on what I'm doing, got this for 189.99 $ so it was a really great buy.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsLovely Card

Pros: Great performance and stays cool.
Haven't had an Nvidia in many years and I must say the Geforce Experience and Control Panel is a pleasure to use.
I use MSI Afterburner and for the most part the gpu hardly works hard even when playing demanding games. Having upgraded from a crossfire 4850 x 2 the extra space and better fans make for a quieter and cooler desktop.
Great price.

Cons: Having an older motherboard the increased size of the gpu compared to my old 4850's made it a little difficult to install. I have maybe a millimeter of length available on one of the two power connectors and only one of the PCI-E slots was big enough to accept the card.

Other Thoughts: It sure is nice to play skyrim on Ultra and not have to worry about my rig melting or whether or not this or that game is going to properly handle Crossfire. Back in the day it seemed that I would have to wait months for a good Application profile to come out that supported Crossfire properly without having weird hickups and stuttering.
I'm glad I purchased this card but I might have picked up the new 750 instead had it been out at the time.

1 out of 5 eggsBroken from day one and Poor Customer Service to Boot

Pros: Good price for the specifications. This looked to be a solid performer but it turned out to be a real let down. I've used PNY products for many many years but not after this stinker turned out to be a rip off.

Cons: Since day one this card has had the same issue over and over. Power up your desktop then wait for the blank screen to flash several time sand possibly never come back on until you power-cycle your monitor. I contacted PNY because the card has a lifetime warranty. The only problem is PNY has no more of these cards in stock so now I have to send in my brand-new broken card and WAIT for 2 weeks or more while this card is repaired. They have a cross ship program but have no other cards in stock for a cross ship.. for all the good that does a customer. Never again PNY this company doesn't care about the customer, except ti rip him/her off. Don't be fooled as I was stay away from PNY.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend another PNY product for as long as I live. Bogus warranty and shoddy parts make for a very POOR experience.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Good

Pros: Smaller cards than I thought. Also run very cool. 27-32c at idle in a dual SLI setup in a full ATX case, and run around 60c playing ghosts with most settings at ultra (using geforce experience settings) Had the highest clock speeds of all the other cards available in 760 GTX. MSI was a pretty close second.

Cons: Was one gen too low to get the new Batman free with purchase. (although I got assassins creed IV and the new splinter cell game) Not really a con, just likely a detail I didn't see.

Other Thoughts: Good price for the performance. Not sure its worth buying something much more expensive. You could fit these into a much smaller case than the HAF full ATX case I'm using.

5 out of 5 eggsnew fan of PNY

Pros: I'll start off buy saying I did not expect to buy this card. I planned on upgrading from my EVGA 470 to another EVGA because I was happy with that one, and EVGA is a great company. However, I was ready for an upgrade, and for 200 bucks after rebate (and two free games) I decided to buy this card. I love it. The two fans are great, the card is aesthetically pleasing, it's built well, it's a powerhouse. It idles at ~26c and gets as high as about 73c. It's even smaller than the 470. PNY offers a lifetime warranty with a registration as well which was a factor in my decision to buy it. I dig it a lot.

Cons: -can get pretty loud under heavy load
-not the card's fault but the two games required uplay and it sucks. Hard.

Other Thoughts: I moved the computer to an area with better air flow and the card got a lot cooler and quieter.

It's a great card, it has a lifetime warranty, and it has a great price for an OC edition 760. It was an awesome deal for 200, and if it fits your budget, I recommend it.
