The GeForce GTX 760 transforms your games with a fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The PNY VCGGTX7602XPB-OC features a massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU of 1152 Cores and 2GB GDDR5. Plus it's factory overclocked to 1111MHz (standard 980MHz) Base Clock and 1176MHz Boost Clock (standard 1033MHz) for more fps in the hottest titles.

Beyond raw performance, it is perfectly tuned to today's most advanced gaming technologies, like GeForce Experience for one click driver and setting optimization - you'll get the best gaming right out of the box – and NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics. Nothing will hold you back from taking on, and dominating, your most challenging games.

  • newegg GeForce Experience The easiest way to optimize your games and keep your drivers up to date, the GeForce Experience application automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you’ll be able to update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, e-mail, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Technology Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) is a new anti-aliasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing), is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful

Pros: Use these cards in SLi config with triple monitors. Cards are nice and stable and push out lots of GBps. Able to run most games are highest settings possible at almost 50ish FPS, that's on a triple monitor.

Cons: Have a heat issue, stock heat sinks and fans can not keep up and after a few hours GPUs will stop outputting video. Switched to water cooling to resolve issue.

5 out of 5 eggsSLI powerhouse

Pros: Size of the cards are great for most cases. Even with SLI.
Cool operation.
Quiet operation.
Adequate power consumption.
No shuttering often caused by SLI with these units.
Can run Guild Wars 2 at ultra settings at 1440p with 50 fps+
Metro 2033 and last light run at Ultra with AA at 1440p with smooth graphics.

Cons: This is not so much to due with the cards but rather the application and software complications that go along with SLI setups. With that being said I do find that I have to micro manage NVIDIA control panel options for some applications. I often find my self having to use the current final drivers rather then any beta drivers. When using beta drivers with this SLI setup it will often will crash a majority of my games.

Other Thoughts: Amazing performance for the price. Can provide amazing performance at 1440p resolution with most games at max settings while keeping high frames per second above (45).

5 out of 5 eggsTerrific Intermediate Card

Runs quiet.
Reasonable priced.

5 out of 5 eggs4 Months Strong

Pros: Worked right out of the box, installation was clean

Cons: Not a PNY thing, but the NVIDIA control panel to "optimize" games is meh.

Other Thoughts: About to buy a second one to SLI. I can get games to play at a mix of High to Medium (more towards the "High" side). SLI should make it a beast, and give my 1200 watt PSU something to work for.

3 out of 5 eggsThe Good, The Bad and the Ugly

Pros: The good was that when it worked the card was excellent. Newegg filled the order and had it on the door step at the exact time they said it would be there.

Cons: The bad was that when it hit high end it would crash no matter what I did. New drivers, old drivers, beta drivers, benchmark programs all produced the same results. The ugly was the PNY Tech Support. They were extremely slow to answer emails. I was tasked with performing tests and reporting results (I don't know what would have happened if I wasn't knowledgeable). Then when they were satisfied something was wrong, they told me to send the card back at my expense where their techs would "check it out" and if the found a defect they would replace the one I sent. If they couldn't find anything wrong they would ship it back, at my expense. All this after I did all the testing and reported the results.

Other Thoughts: It would have all been a bad experience if it hadn't been for Newegg. They stepped in when they didn't have to, took the bull by the horns and made the situation right.

5 out of 5 eggsneeds more power

Pros: Beautiful frame rates and resolution. Easy to get the latest drivers set up in Linux Mint:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install nvidia-current

All my games from the Steam store run very nicely. Hi-Def MKV videos are gorgeouse.

Cons: nVidia still lags AMD in one respect: HDMI audio is a bear to get working in Linux! Even older AMD cards don't have that issue.

You'll push your luck with a 500W PSU. I burned out a Corsair 600W (Good for Corsair! It didn't hurt anything else in the system as may have happened with a lesser quality brand.) after about two weeks. Get a high-quality 750W or higher if you use one of these cards.

Other Thoughts: My trouble may have been a defective PSU, but I doubt it. Since dropping in an EVGA SuperNOVA 750W PSU (pretty darn cheap from the Egg!) there's been absolutely no issues like were seen with that poor little 600W box. I thought I'd get away with it since there wasn't a lot of hardware running and I didn't over-clock anything. Not so.
