The GeForce GTX 770 transforms your games with a fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The PNY VCGGTX7704XPB-OC2 features a massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU of 1536 Cores and gigantic memory of 4GB GDDR5 operating at all-time high 7010MHz effective frequency. Plus it's factory overclocked to 1150MHz (standard 1045MHz) Base Clock and 1202MHz Boost Clock (standard 1085MHz) for more fps in the hottest titles.

Beyond raw performance, it is perfectly tuned to today's most advanced gaming technologies, like GeForce Experience for one click driver and setting optimization - you'll get the best gaming right out of the box – and NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics. Nothing will hold you back from taking on, and dominating, your most challenging games.

  • newegg GeForce Experience The easiest way to optimize your games and keep your drivers up to date, the GeForce Experience application automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you’ll be able to update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with even more advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, e-mail, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Technology Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) is a new anti-aliasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing), is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Impressed

Pros: So it's a card. Graphics look good.

Cons: Major stuttering on almost every game, both online and single player offline games. I googled it and apparently the geforce 770 has problems with windows 8, nvidia audio drivers, and realtek audio drivers. Well my motherboard has realtek. If I uninstall the nvidia audio drivers, it reinstalls them as soon as I boot again. Nvidia knows about this issue and hasn't fixed it.

Other Thoughts: Wish I had bought another card. This issue is only with windows 8.

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth

Pros: Very good driver support and easy install, basically plug in and let windows install drivers, game support is great

Cons: packaging kind of cheesy for this expensive of a card and the power layout could be better but no deal breakers

Other Thoughts: We used to be ATI fans but the R series cards cause artifacts in a lot of our games and the driver updates often fix new games but have issues with others. Since this card has been flawless (and smooth) for everything we are going green

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Amazing card plays all my games at awesome settings at 1080p with 60+ fps. Games I have been playing recently are Titanfall, BF4, AC3, and The Witcher. Also, this card has a great OC out of the box! My cards hits a solid 1254 MHz on its own, so no need to OC it further imo. Actually I'm not sure I could take further, even if I wanted to, without having heat issues.

Cons: The default fan profile will let it go over 80c and my case has great cable management and plenty if airflow. However, with Afterburner this is easily remedied. I like to keep my cards below 80c.

Other Thoughts: I got a 4GB one because it seems like games are starting to use closer to 3GB or more vram even at 1080p. I would say 3GB is the "sweet spot" for 1080p but I want be able to keep this card for a while. Additionally, if I need extra performance an SLI set up with 4GB of vram will destroy games at 1080p for a long while.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great fans cool the 770 and allows a little more performance than the stock. 4GB memory comes in handy even with my 1080p monitors and I'll explain how below. Pricing at the time was on sale at 70 below MSRP and came with three games.

Cons: The packaging was extremely cheap. The the product was packed in one of those thick plastic/anti-theft looking annoying boxes.

Other Thoughts: The reason why I went with the 4GB version instead of the 2GB version was because I enjoying adding modifications to games such as Skyrim. I noticed with high texture mods the VRAM would exceed 2GBs which would have restricted my wish to push this game to it's limit. WIth this card I am able play heavily modded games with minimal lag.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Good Price
Very Fast VC

Cons: It would have been a cleaner look for the card if the power plugs were facing the aft end of card instead of on the top.

When installing the card into the PCI slot, I noticed the outer metal casing around the fans & heat sink seemed kinda flimsy.

This is why I gave the card just 4 eggs instead of 5 egg rating.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased PNY in the past & they have always been rock-solid cards.

Matter of fact, this card is replacing my two 560 Ti PNY cards that I had installed in my PC.

4 out of 5 eggsSplendidly Fast Card

Pros: This is a fast card for the price. I use it mostly for video rendering and light gaming. While in use, it runs cooler than my CPU.

Cons: So far I have been unable to get ultrafast boot working with this card. This may be a problem with my MOBO, however.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty darn good

Pros: excellent quality very high clock speed(i think its super clocked), even though i was skeptical at first, never having tryed PNY before, would gladly get again,

Cons: it does not take a standard 8 pin, dont let it fool you, it takes 3 6 pins total, 2 of the 6 pins that connect into a cable they provide for a high power 8 pin

Other Thoughts: be sure to check your PSU cables before buying.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card!

Pros: I purchased this card when it was on sale with an additional mail in rebate so it came down to just about the 2GB price range. I use only two 1080p monitors and 4 GB would usually be overkill; however, I use a lot high resolution texture add-ons on games such as Skyrim and Oblivion and they easily surpass the 2 GB threshold. I usually get around 60fps where I use to get roughly 30fps with an older generation AMD 2gb HD7850. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Cons: The packaging was very lame. It came in a clear plastic case inside a standard box. For 450 dollars I'd expect at least foam or something that makes the card look important. Just my rant.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card

Pros: I upgraded from two GTX460s in SLI to this GTX770. Great performance, temps are decent when under heavy load. Heat sink is very esthetically pleasing. Managed to fit it into my FT03 mini with some modifications with the case. double the V-Ram of most 770s & Life time warranty is a nice plus.

Cons: Temps are good but I would expect lower with the dual fan design on the massive heat sink it has. I have 90mm holes in my FT03 Mini to match the GPU fans for direct air intake yet temps are still around 70-78 under heavy load.

Other Thoughts: For some reason Newegg advertises this card with "3 Free games" but there was no redemption code in the box. Seems to be a common issue. Still waiting to hear back from them...
