4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for FREE....

Pros: Got this video card FREE as part of a Corsair H100i cooler purchase. Cannot really call this a beginners or entry level video card but it's good to have around to use as a knockaround test video card. It has "almost" all the popular video outputs short of a displayport connection. The best thing about this video card is NVidia almost always has driver support for all their cards some going back over 10 years.

Cons: Anemic fan barely turns but then again this video card isn't exactly a "barn burner"...just a good old everyday emergency video card.

4 out of 5 eggsGF119 done right, but good luck finding this version

Pros: Original reference board with true Hynix 11c memory (1866Mhz speed bin, with the usual hynix headroom permitting stable operation at 2220Mhz (1110x2). This and the EVGa 1523kr version are the only models sold in the US with the frambuffer at original nvidia spec frequency. Cuda core and ROP-bound scenarios occur before mem bandwidth. That being said, TR 2013 (GPU 880mhz, shaders 1760mhz) with 17.3gig/sec mem bandwidth gets avg FPS @ 1280x768 (not 720) of 17 to 51 with: Shadows Normal / Normal, SSAO: Normal; Filtering: Ultra; Tesselation: haha!; Post processing: optional, costs 3 - 10fps!, Object LOD: High; No AA (obviously thanks to only 4 rops and 64-bit ddr3 interface); Card was received in mint condition, in the SAME PNY grey box my 560TI from 2011 (sans LP bracket) came in, with retail internal packaging, shrink-wrapped, CD; Bioshock Infinite is a breeze @1280 or 1366 WITH Ambient OCClusion AND "low" dynamic shadows, tex high, object lod high, FXAA (only costs about 3fps); GPU runs extremely cool when overclcoked (absolute max 63; GPU is rated up to 102!); Both my evga 610s run in the 70s and 80s; Fan is dead silent and voltage-throttled, doesnt go over 45% since 63 degrees is below threshold.

Cons: Back of PCB has standard solder points that stick out 1mm or so; Unlike the crippled (but glass-smooth) PCBs used by EVGA (until the evga heatsink breaks loose, hence all the 610s in newegg refurb); Took me 1.5 years to find this one in refurb.
