The Geforce GTX 650 gives you a GTX gaming experience at a remarkable price. Based on the fast and efficient NVIDIA Kepler architecture, Geforce GTX 650 provides the perfect entry point to DirectX 11 and 1080p HD gaming in your favorite FPS and MMO games.

  • newegg KEPLER GPU ARCHITECTURE NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU BOOST Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors the graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA ADAPTIVE VERTICAL SYNC Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA SURROUND WITH UP TO FOUR MONITORS Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TWO NEW ANTI-ALIASING MODES: FXAA AND TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges, but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new anti-aliasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D VISION READY NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to two times the monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs in eye-popping, crystal-clear quality.

3 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Nice card, cheap price seems to work so far.

Cons: Opened the card and its cracked, not a small crack but one that runs nearly the length of the board, using with caution

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: stays cool, runs good, very stable.

Cons: The one listed has a 1 din bracket, the one I got had 2 din. Not a big issue but with my case I had to modify the bracket.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat video card for the price

Pros: excelent graphics in both gaming and video playback

Cons: the refurbished graphics card did not come with the adapters for the mini hdmi or driver and utilities disk. you will have to buy a converter seperately, if you are going to use the hdmi connection.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal

Pros: Price/performance can't be beat. I installed this on my 4 year old pc to try and squeeze some more life out of it and this totally fit the bill. I'm able to run newer games at high settings. I think I should be able to get a couple more years out of this old machine.

AMD Phenom II X2 550, 4 cores unlocked and OC'd @ 3.8ghz
MSI 770-G45
8 GB G.SKILL DDR3 1600

Cons: Can't think of any. Only been using it for about a week. if it starts to fail I'll update.

3 out of 5 eggsbad quality control

Pros: decent price for an upgrade from an old gt 430 good connections and overall condition.

Cons: only worked running desktop and movies crashed repeatedly when it kicked up to play games guessing their is something wrong with the processor on it since i only have problems once it goes over 50% load.

Other Thoughts: customer service was quick and helpful with rma hoping that the replacement is 100% functional but its not neweggs fault its bad quality control on the manufacturers side

3 out of 5 eggsBare card good, but Quality Control on Recertified could be better

Pros: Nice card to drive three displays

Cons: - HDMI connector broken on arrival. Could make it work, but not practical needing to open the case every time the HDMI connector would need to be plugged in if it would be unplugged for some reason.
- No cables or adapters supplied with the card - so there was a little extra cost to get those.

3 out of 5 eggsMostly good, but quality control on Refurbished isn't great

Pros: Good price on a basic card to drive three displays

Cons: the HDMI connector is broken. I couldn't get the computer to recognize the third display and had to open up the computer again to check all the connections. There I saw that the gray back part of the HDMI connection was broken and coming out of the back of the connector. When I held the back of the connector in while connecting the HDMI cable, I got things to work, but I'd have to open up the computer each time I would have to plug in the HDMI connector if it would come unplugged in the future.

Other Thoughts: You'd think that "manufacture recertified" testing would have caught that bad HDMI connection. More than likely that is why it was originally returned and the manufacturer only ran it through the testing with the DVI connections rather than testing all the connections.
