Your gaming will not be the same with the PNY VCGGTX7803XPB-OC Graphics Card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU - the GeForce GTX 780, this card is a landmark in gaming performance - an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU features 2304 CUDA Cores - 50% more than its predecessor. Complete with 3GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, this card gives you the performance capability you need to game at extreme setting. This card is also factory overclocked to 1006MHz Base Clock (standard: 863MHz) and 1059MHz Boost Clock (standard: 900MHz) to push the already monstrous performance to a new level. Beyond raw performance, the GeForce GTX 780 is perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies with GeForce Experience for one-click driver and setting optimization, plus NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with even more advanced controls like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works as intended. High overclocking ability, even with the factory settings. Memory has even more overclocking potential due to the Samsung capacitors and the custom PCB by PNY.

-2304 CUDA cores = very fast across all AAA titles on maximum settings
-Triple fan cooler keeps temps within 74°C
-A lot of overclocking headroom even with the current factory settings
-High-quality materials you'd expect from PNY

Cons: The unit I got has a very loud coil whine. However, this was simply caused by it pumping too many unneeded frames, so turning on V-Sync (adaptive usually) either fixes it entirely, or reduces the noise dramatically.

I also don't like the fact that the PCB cover is not protected by something. Sapphire's R9 280x TOXIC edition has metal armor protecting the PCB. For a high-end GPU, this is a must in my opinion.

In addition, the design of the cooling system works as intended, but the problem is, if you have a case with poorly optimized airflow, this thing will overheat your case rather quickly. At times, the ambient temps of my case reached as high as 40°C (104°F), which is very high for the inside of a desktop case.

-Very loud coil whine (able to fix luckily with V-sync)
-PCB not protected / covered
-Cooling system allows for heat to leak into the system very easily, which is bad news for poor airflow cases

Other Thoughts: I've had this GPU since Decemember 2013. It has not failed me, and knowing PNY, it will not anytime soon.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: The best GTX 780 you can find! The highest default clocked GPU and clocked Memory!

This card beat every Titan (non-black) benchmark i have seen. It even comes VERY close to stock 780Ti benchmarks.

I got mine at an amazing $489 deal with $30rebate at local store.

Cons: Long, make sure you have enough room for 1ft.

Other Thoughts: Purchased much cheaper with rebate at Fry's.

This is the perfect GPU if you are looking in 1440p gaming.

Still has more overclocking potential, so play with it a little bit, and game on!

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice card

Pros: This is a very nice card. Runs nearly everything I have thrown at it at max settings, while playing fullscreen HD video on a second display. Had to update my BIOS for it to work at all (ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0). But now runs great in Windows 8. This card is fast and cool, but is a bit pricey, although it will last until Nvidia moves beyond the GTX 900 series thanks to the warranty.

Cons: Still irritated at Newegg for not letting me use the 10% coupon. But I can't knock the card for that.

5 out of 5 eggsFAST

Pros: Fast and quiet, eats up anything you throw at it in 1080p. One of the fastest factory overclocks you can find and still has a 15% headroom for more oc. Also gets an excellent hashrate in cudaminer I'm getting 520kh/s with auto tune after a base oc to 1176

Cons: There was a slight coil whine when running some of the older benchmarks but this only happened when the fps hit 2k+ so it's not a huge issue.

Other Thoughts: I'll be upgrading to 1440p monitor soon and I can't wait, the performance of this card is well worth it (especially if you caught the sale price with the rebate)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Flawlessly

Pros: Fast, every game I have played on it so far (Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider w/ TressFX, Call of Duty: Ghosts, etc.) has defaulted me to the ultimate/extreme/ultra-high graphics settings and ran smoothly.
Fits comfortably in my mid tower with a 560 ti in there for physics.
I tested it before and after the 560 Ti but there is no noticeable difference in frame rate even in physics heavy games like Borderlands 2.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I came from 2 X 560 Ti s in SLI and this provided a significant graphical boost. I am only running on one 1080p monitor. I will update this when I have to room for 2 more monitors.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Card V2

Pros: * Plays almost my games on absolute max settings
* INSANE cooling.
Min temp reached - 75F
Max temp reached - 145F (my 9800GT idled close to this cards max temp)
Ambient temperature - 70F
* Beautiful card
* Lifetime warranty once activated
* No damage from shipping
* Factory overclocked

Cons: * Not as fast as I expected it to be (see below)
* HUGE card. I cannot stress how large this card is. Due to my own ignorance, I had to cut out a part of my hard drive bays to fit the card. Assumed my full size case would fit it no problem. Also covers up my motherboards SATA connectors (ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0)
* Expensive

In all of the above games tested I made sure I was seeing the minimum FPS by getting into combat, ect. Also, Battlefield 3 runs very nicely on max settings so I didn't bother running benchmarks for those curious about BF3.

This was an upgrade from my good ol' BFG Tech 9800GT 512MB. Since the GTX 780 was such an improvement, I expected it to just power through any game no matter what the title or settings. I was let down though. Please note that it wasn't PNY I was disappointed with.

Tried running my GTX 780 as the primary graphics card and had my 9800GT as a dedicated PhysX card. After doing some testing, I found out that the 9800GT PhysX dedicated if anything, degraded performance.

If this review appears to be a mess, sorry about that

* No damage from shipping
* INSANE cooling. 87F while idling. Haven't tested how hot the card gets.

While the GTX 780 does run The Witcher 2 and Skyrim on max quality EASILY, there's still titles such as Metro; Last Light, Crysis (the first) and GTA IV it doesn't run so easily. On my native 1400x900 resolution, all three games went slightly below 30 FPS at least once during gameplay.

I suppose I'm just amazed that games which were released in 2007 and 2008 are still a challenge to run after all this time.

Note that this isn't the best review ever, but I felt obligated to review this card since there are no "real" reviews of it on Newegg.
