Your gaming will not be the same with the PNY VCGGTX7803XPB-OC Graphics Card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU - the GeForce GTX 780, this card is a landmark in gaming performance - an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU features 2304 CUDA Cores - 50% more than its predecessor. Complete with 3GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, this card gives you the performance capability you need to game at extreme setting. This card is also factory overclocked to 1006MHz Base Clock (standard: 863MHz) and 1059MHz Boost Clock (standard: 900MHz) to push the already monstrous performance to a new level. Beyond raw performance, the GeForce GTX 780 is perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies with GeForce Experience for one-click driver and setting optimization, plus NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with even more advanced controls like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsHung Jury...

Pros: It's a giant GPU, but it is relatively quiet. It is quite powerful. I like it.

Cons: None directly aimed at the card. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: The games I have tried it out are older games (GRID, Real Flight Simulator 4.5, and Flatout Ultimate Carnage). With the old games obviously this thing kills even at the highest of high settings. It doesn't brake a sweat... but I decided to try a "new" game and got Assasin's Creed Unity. Obviously there have been framerate issues among other people, but I do not know if that is due to the card not being powerful enough or the game (or both). On low settings, I am only getting frame rates in the mid 40's. On high settings, I am in the low to mid 30's. On ultra with antialiasing maxed its low 20's. I kinda expected more out of this card, but I am not a die hard gamer so I don't have much of a reference point to compare to... maybe I just need SLI to get better FPS.

This card will obviously boost rendering in Adobe Premiere CC, but haven't tested it too much.

Overall I expected more, but am still content with the card.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Delivers mid-high end performance with no fuss. Definitely a quieter model and it runs cool as well.

Cons: Coil whine when playing almost any game. Although I can't hear it at all through my semi-open headphones, it's louder than my fans, kind of annoying for other people in the room, and not something I feel should be tolerated for a $300+ card. So minus 1 egg.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 4 Months

Pros: - Great Specs
- Decent Price
- Seemingly Good Warranty

Cons: - Poor Customer Service
- Device Dead after 4 months of use
- Never got my rebate and the rebate handlers are completely a$$hats. the UPC was sent as required, but they "didn't receive" it, so I have no UPC and the receipt and invoice from Newegg apparently doesn't cut it as proof that I purchased their product and can be issue a rebate.

Other Thoughts: This device mad ea loud POP and stopped working roughly 3-4 after purchase. I thought no problem, it happens, and with a lifetime warranty it will be replaced quickly I guess. I have purchased a lot of PNY products in my professional life and had forgotten how bad their RMA process is. They only cross-ship if you pay for your card in full and they ship the replacement UPS ground.

They have shipped the replacement to the wrong address and now require I wait until it gets back to them to ship another replacement. I linked the customer service representative the UPS website where the shipper can fix shipping issues. I have been without a video card for nearly three weeks now.

My next card will definitely NOT be a PNY and I will no longer be purchasing their products for business either. BEWARE.

Pros: Fast. Lifetime warranty (apparently).

Cons: Long. Customer service is some of the worst ive experienced.

Other Thoughts: I hate to be "that guy" that uses the reviews section to vent, but since this seems to be the only possible way to get ahold of some companies, its pretty much the only option ive got left.

I purchased this card for 2 reasons really. 1) It has a supposed "lifetime warranty", and is a US company 2) It was the cheapest one at the time that wasnt a Zotac (no offense Zotac- I just dont know you like that).

I got my card. Was too large for my case so i pulled out the HDD cage. Card showed up in specs and everything, but the BIOS became inaccessible, and the comp that used to take 30 sec to boot up now takes 6 minutes. Whatever. I can deal with it.

However like i said, price was a major reason why I chose this card. Im already a bit peeved that just a few months after purchasing the card id been eyeing for over a year, they basically just slashed the price in half. But it was supposed to come with a $30. At least I can get that back, right? Wrong. I processed the rebate on June 24th of this year. One month later, still no word from them. After leaving messages with the rebate center for 2 weeks, I finally called tech support- the only number that had a live person answer- and after being bounced to 4 different people, I finally spoke with a woman named Janaerys, who apologized and said that they hadnt recieved my rebate forms, but that I could resend it via email. Luckily I had made copies, so I resent it at the end of July.

Long story shorter- its now almost the middle of October. Ive recieved nothing. Ive been leaving messages with PNY since last month, and no one has returned my calls. Ive been calling since 10am this morning to try to get ahold of someone, and at noon, Ive just barely gotten ahold of someone. They said that the people in the rebate department were probably on lunch break, and to call back in 30 minutes. I Said "They're ALL on break?. Are there not that many people there today?" She said "Well there are two people who handle the rebates...". TWO?! TWO PEOPLE FOR ALL OF PNY?!! So that customer service person finally transferred me to HR, who then gave me the extension to someone else...WHO ISNT EVEN THERE. So Im now waiting for a return call from yet ANOTHER person. I swear PNY must just be an empty building with the number of lines ive called with nobody to answer.

So....4 months. 4 months and my rebate is nowhere to be seen. If they didnt want to honor the rebate, then they shouldn't have offered it in the first place. If I knew I was going to be spending $530 instead of $489, I probably wouldve gotten an EVGA or something like I had before

5 out of 5 eggsMy go to GPU

Pros: Runs nice and cool
Processing power like I've never seen

Cons: Larger than I expected (but fits in a standard mid tower)

Other Thoughts: This thing blew me away when I purchased it. I was worried with the 3 fans this thing was going to be loud like a few of my previous GPU's, but dang is it quiet.

Able to run Titanfall, Metro Last Light, Battlefield 3, and many demanding games at max settings with 60+ fps with ease.

PNY has treated me well with my last 3 GPU's and I felt it was time I finally reviewed one. These things are built to last. It will be out-dated before it breaks, and let me tell you, my last card was the PNY GTX570 1gb. I purchased it I believe around 4 years ago. It is currently with my brother now and still running like a champ.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works as intended. High overclocking ability, even with the factory settings. Memory has even more overclocking potential due to the Samsung capacitors and the custom PCB by PNY.

-2304 CUDA cores = very fast across all AAA titles on maximum settings
-Triple fan cooler keeps temps within 74°C
-A lot of overclocking headroom even with the current factory settings
-High-quality materials you'd expect from PNY

Cons: The unit I got has a very loud coil whine. However, this was simply caused by it pumping too many unneeded frames, so turning on V-Sync (adaptive usually) either fixes it entirely, or reduces the noise dramatically.

I also don't like the fact that the PCB cover is not protected by something. Sapphire's R9 280x TOXIC edition has metal armor protecting the PCB. For a high-end GPU, this is a must in my opinion.

In addition, the design of the cooling system works as intended, but the problem is, if you have a case with poorly optimized airflow, this thing will overheat your case rather quickly. At times, the ambient temps of my case reached as high as 40°C (104°F), which is very high for the inside of a desktop case.

-Very loud coil whine (able to fix luckily with V-sync)
-PCB not protected / covered
-Cooling system allows for heat to leak into the system very easily, which is bad news for poor airflow cases

Other Thoughts: I've had this GPU since Decemember 2013. It has not failed me, and knowing PNY, it will not anytime soon.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: The best GTX 780 you can find! The highest default clocked GPU and clocked Memory!

This card beat every Titan (non-black) benchmark i have seen. It even comes VERY close to stock 780Ti benchmarks.

I got mine at an amazing $489 deal with $30rebate at local store.

Cons: Long, make sure you have enough room for 1ft.

Other Thoughts: Purchased much cheaper with rebate at Fry's.

This is the perfect GPU if you are looking in 1440p gaming.

Still has more overclocking potential, so play with it a little bit, and game on!

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice card

Pros: This is a very nice card. Runs nearly everything I have thrown at it at max settings, while playing fullscreen HD video on a second display. Had to update my BIOS for it to work at all (ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0). But now runs great in Windows 8. This card is fast and cool, but is a bit pricey, although it will last until Nvidia moves beyond the GTX 900 series thanks to the warranty.

Cons: Still irritated at Newegg for not letting me use the 10% coupon. But I can't knock the card for that.
