5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Nice card for the price. This is for my older small form factor computer. Works great and is quiet. Also came with low profile brackets.
OpenCL, CUDA, PhysX and DirectComputer 4.1 are checked in my copy of GPU-Z. I think this card provides a lot of power and features for a small inexpensive card.
Very satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsnoisy fan

Pros: Sharp graphics

Cons: About 1 month after I bought this card, the fan started making noise. Now 2 months later it sounds like a lawn mower, and I can no longer use it.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded to the latest NVIDIA driver (270.61) but the fan noise is the same. Unfortunately it is beyond the 30 day warranty. 60 bucks down the drain.

1 out of 5 eggsmajor problems w/cooling fan

Pros: In my previous review (shortly after purchase) I was quite pleased with this card's performance.

Cons: Cooling fan was noisy on start up for a minute or two then quieted down to barely noticeable.

Other Thoughts: Now after just four months of use, the card's fan has died and the card overheats. I have removed it and for the time being I am back to my on-board graphics.

5 out of 5 eggsA stunning review

Pros: This is a great card for the price. First off it's easy to install, for even the most common user. If you are like me and you own a slim or SFF (small form factor) PC (i own two) and don't have a lot of room for upgrades; this one is highly recommended to be the first. It's hard to find a 1gb card that doesn't have a 250 watt power requirement. This is the one that will work for you.

Graphic wise it gives me what I need to play games like Fallout 3 with little problem. It plays beautifully.

Noise: Surprisingly the fan isn't very loud.

Installation: A snap. Just install the card; run the drivers and that's it. That's all I had to do. No fuss, no muss.

Overall: as a computer technician and hobbyiest; I know what I need and after a constant search for a halfway decent card; I ran across this gem. I use my pc for 3d rending, FX work, and gaming and this card is perfect for my usage and what I am working with. If you have a HP DX5150 SFF; this is the card for you.

Cons: None. This card does exactly what I expected it to do and does it well.

Other Thoughts: For the things I really needed it for; this card has proven to be excellent all around. It's not the most powerful card; but everyone can't have the most up to date when you are on a short budget. If you need a card to play a few modern games; Fallout 3 being a prime example; this is your card. I wasn't disappointed and you won't
be either.

A+ and double thumbs up.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This card is great. It handles my needs much better that the on-board graphics of my HP Slimline s5200z. The low profile fit nicely and it boosted my WEI from 3.2 to 5.1. Installation was easy however the drivers on the dist do not support Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded the most recent driver from Nvidia's web site.

Cons: The fan is extremely noisy when I first turn on my computer or wake it from sleep mode and everything has been dormant for an hour or so. That noise lasts anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes, but after that it quiets down and you can barely hear it. I tried the different driver versions posted in other feed back comments regarding fan noise and they all give me the same results. I decided to use the most current driver 260.9 released 10/16/2010.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Graphics are crisp and clear, plays HD video really good, when it works.

Cons: I bought this video card to update from my 8400gs,but it never worked properly at least on my case, kept on randomly shutting off my monitor for no apparent reason, even with all the updated drivers,on top of it all Newegg won't take it back and give me one that works,i actually thought Newegg had better customer service than this, overall a really bad time, never again.

Other Thoughts: Go for a better name brand.

5 out of 5 eggsNewegg came through for me

Pros: As a follow up, I contacted customer service and in less than a minute, they took care of me on the restocking fee. Good job, NewEgg!

Cons: Wish the video card would've worked out better. The price was great and besides the flickering and remnants left on screen, it was fast. The one I bought to replace it was more expensive.

2 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Low profile kit was great for my application. It was good on power, and stayed cool very quietly.

Cons: Fan lost a tooth and froze up, effectively destroying the card.

Other Thoughts: ECS has had my card for a little over a week now with no contact at all. I am not pleased with them at all.
