5 out of 5 eggsHTPC

Pros: Low cost.
Plenty of performance for a HTPC.
Worked straight out of the box with W7 Media Center.
Silent.

Cons: Takes up 2 card slots.
Uses Sp/Diff input wire for HDMI audio unlike newer hw. Not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Good easy to setup video solution for low profile HTPC's like the Antec micro 350 fusion.

2 out of 5 eggsAverage Product, beware rebate

Pros: The card installed easily. Latest NVIDIA drivers installed fine.
It's an average performance card for a low price.
When it doesn't error it's satisfactory.

Cons: The rebate instructions are very specific, but the packaging/box did not contain a UPC of ANY kind. I looked it over several times, showed it to a friend who said "uhhhh report this". I called the rebate line, which was not helpful at all. In the end, I decided to eat the $10 rather than pursue it. $10 is not worth the time it would have taken.
The Kernal Driver does crash sometimes. The screen goes blank, then comes back on.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm dissatisfied with the card. I can't 100% blame the card, but ever since I installed it, windows 7 has random 'freeze' errors. The only way to solve it is by restarting the computer. Luckily this only happens rarely. Tech support said install the latest drivers (duh), which I obviously have. I have since purchased a 200 series and will be discarding this one. I can't resell it used to anyone else since I'm afraid it won't work, so hello garbage can.

Manufacturer Response:

For reference, the UPC code is located on the cardboard sleeve which came wrapped around the box. See the attached picture.

We would still like to help resolve your issues you are having with the random "freeze" errors.

We would also like to look into your previous support case and we sincerely apologize for any miscommunication that you may have encountered and will look into your concerns.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Card fits in HP Slimline case and is quiet.

Cons: Where to begin... First, the SPDIF in is incompatible with the motherboard SPDIF out on my motherboard. No way to know this until you actually get the card and install.
Second, this card will not pass POST on a restart. I have used other video cards in the same PC without this issue.
Last, the kernal driver keeps crashing regardless of driver version used, MS or ECS supplied.

Other Thoughts: I really hope this is just a defective card because it is completely unusable.

Manufacturer Response:

Please contact us as we would like to look into your issues.

We would like to find out what motherboard you are using to see the SPDIF layout.

We would like to find out more about your configuration and address your intermitent POST issues.

For you crash issues, besides the MS and ECS drivers have you tried the latest nVidia drivers?

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: good quality, resonable price.

Cons: I have a Dell gx280. The card fits but the case won't close all the way. Back of card hits hard drive and cd rom which are attached to the case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card at a value price!

Pros: This card was just what I was looking for in a card. I just purchased a HP Slimline pc and needed to upgrade the video to be able to play WoW on this system. Being a slimline pc I needed a half card with low power consumption. Most cards specified a minimum of 300w + psu to run and my pc comes with a custom 220w psu. Would this card work? Yep, it works just fine and my frame rate in Dalaran went from a dismal 14 fps to an average of 42 fps. This is a good card for the budget minded.

Cons: Two things kept me from giving this card a 5 egg review. The first one is the lack of documentation. There is very little, but that isn't of much concern to me for what I'm using it for. The second issue is possibly an issue with WoW more than with the card. Sometimes when I start the game the card quits working and the game crashes. Upon reboot everything works great and there are no issues. I've been told that others are having similar problems since the latest patch and that it is being worked on.

Other Thoughts: I'm running on a HP Slimline s5310y
AMD Athlon II x2 250 Dual Core
4gb DDR3
Windows 7 Home 64 bit.

If you are looking for a low power, passive cooled, half height, budget card this is a good deal.
