5 out of 5 eggsSad to see it's discontinued

Pros: Great performance for a great price.
I run largely (what would be considered) older games from 2010-12 at high-very high settings with great FPS.
Rendering textures and models and skins in AC3D I have no problems.

Cons: At the time I purchased, there were units available with double the dedicated memory for similar prices (within $20-30) but this is a flimsy con since the projected performance was still better,

Other Thoughts: If anyone had a bad experience with this card it was likely just a bum unit.

1 out of 5 eggsC%^$# CARD

Pros: Die on the 2 day

Cons: Wouldn't recommend this product or this brand, unless you have spear money to spend.
cheap = s*&^%#@
Couldn't use bad word, had so many that wanted to use

5 out of 5 eggsPlanning on Getting another

Pros: it is great for a 24" monitor at res. like 1920 x 1080

Cons: now i have to buy another, their that good. not really bad just phsy x needs something more, maybe ivy bridge's on board gpu + nvidia control panel settings to have it as a phys x engine together would be nice along with 2. I never played H.a.w.x.2 but I really would like to try seeing Linus tech tips videos made me wanna.

Other Thoughts: I take back my review about not wanting one in sli

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CUDA Card

Pros: I have this sitting next to my 560 Superclocked for CUDA/Physx. Small profile, uses very little power.

Cons: Graphics-wise it's a scaled up 400-series.

Other Thoughts: If you want to play games, get the EVGA Superclocked GTX 560. If you use it for CUDA and Physx, it's a good card.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I absolutely LOVE this card. It blows me away - runs SWTOR & SC2 on ultra, just fine.

Cons: I had to move my NIC down a slot so that it wasn't rubbing up against the card's fan :P

Other Thoughts: I'd suggest this card to others. It's worth the money and worth the PURE AWESOMENESS that you're currently missing out on.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Mine is rocking along fine in a triple-head Linux setup (two cards). I was surprised how well it played Crysis at 1600x1200 (no AA) in Windows. Not an overclock model, that's a pro in my book. Not too power hungry either.

Cons: Nothing worth mentioning here really.

Other Thoughts: Maybe a little pricey vs some other models by a few bucks, no rebate or free game or free shipping. Doesn't have the full shroud any longer, not sure if that's good, bad, or a wash.

5 out of 5 eggsGood value.

Pros: Well, it gives me a 7.4 on my Windows performance score. Simple installation. I get my drivers directly from Nvidia.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I'm not using the card for gaming. It runs way cool with my Swiftech H20 cooling set up. 30c at idle and 50-70c under load.

1 out of 5 eggsProblems from start

Pros: I was looking for a much needed upgrade due to the increased requirements of the new games on the market. I don't have a large budget to get a hardcore gaming card. This one offered the needed requirements and wasn't too expensive. I have a two monitor system and with the two connections this fit all the needs.

Cons: I received the card yesterday and installed it. After I installed the drives etc, the first boot up had one of the monitors flashing on and off. There was about a 15 second delay between flashes. A second reboot solved that issue. Now the issue that I am having is that after a couple of hours of use, I lose all the signals to the monitors. In order to get the signal back I need to press the reset button on the box. I went online and searched for this card and found that others are having this same issue. One of the suggested solutions (and one I am afraid I will have to do) is to seen the card back and get something other than the GTX 550. The other cards don't have a problem, but just the 550. I have submitted a help ticket with the manufacturer and will see what they suggest.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your video card.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Graphics Card

Pros: I bought the card as an upgrade to play SW:ToR.
It worked...
It worked so well I now own 2. You can't beat this model's price vs. ability ratio. Works great for all the other games coming out like Skyrim and Battlefield 3 as well.

Cons: none!

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have an adequate power supply. At least 500 watts. I had to upgrade mine when the card arrived (it was about time I replaced it though so its hard to complain.)

And it had just enough room in my factory-made desktop case (which is about as small as they come), so you shouldn't have to worry about the actual size.

5 out of 5 eggsGraphics

Pros: Plays all my games with more than enough power. SLI is pointless unless if u have a display that is large enough to bennifit from it, just in my opinion though.

Cons: none at all
