3 out of 5 eggsGood for price but watch out warranty

Pros: Lower cost and works for Battlefield 3 and 4 also lord of the rings online. Does last ALMOST 2 yrs.

Cons: Bought two for my husband and my computers, both had over heating issues causing shutdowns to the computer a little down the line.

Other Thoughts: Make sure this card is only going to be used until you can afford better. Manufacturer warranty is not upheld the closer you are to the 24th month.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad...not bad at all.

Pros: Nice card! Purchased for one of my customers (a local church) as an upgrade to their on-board video. It was one of those Dells that grabs 512MB RAM for the video, on top of using the CPU for GPU work. Well, this card works GREAT as a replacement. The HDMI, DVI, and RGB ports are great for WHATEVER they may want to plug into that computer. BONUS, even though it says 512MB on my invoice, packing slip, and packaging; the card was ACTUALLY 1GB. I don't know if it was a gaff on the part of the packager, or they are ALL 1GB now as a production run upgrade since these cards are originally 2011 vintage. I'd think 512MB raw etchings would be pretty hard to come by in today's day. Nice that it's single slot, but I wouldn't populate the slot adjacent since the fan looks a bit on the weak side. Let's hope it holds up for this customer, but so long as you don't go megacrazy with it, you should be fine.

Cons: The driver disc and the web site, do NOT download the drivers from ECS. Go straight to Nvidia. The drivers are on the website were several MAJOR versions old.

5 out of 5 eggsWell done Geforce

Pros: For around 75 dollars, this graphics card definitely didn't break the bank. I used to have integrated graphics so this really made all the difference for me. I can run Dota 2 on high settings, and Soldier Front 2 on at least medium settings. I'm a pretty casual gamer, so this was really a good choice for decent performance.

Cons: Really wish it was 1gb of memory instead of 512 mb. But hey, for 65 dollars, it's GGDR5.

Other Thoughts: Was a great purchase. Installation was easy. When i first opened my computer however it was 800x600 resolution, but this can be easily fixed.

5 out of 5 eggsNice work PC upgrade

Pros: Runs 2 monitors. (VGA, DVI, and/or HDMI)
Brings a standard desktop up to compatibility with Windows 7 and 8 (assumed).
Faster display than onboard.
adds super fast dedicated video memory
Can't hear anything (quiet)
Fairly inexpensive - got my boss to order this for my work PC
very small
no need to upgrade PSU for me, and no wires needed, it draws power from the motherboard only.

Cons: graphics on shield aren't cool or desirable and waste money. Would rather it was $5 or $10 cheaper without artwork.

Driver disc that came with it didn't really work right, maybe something I did wrong. It only displayed "Browse CD and Exit". In the instructions it was supposed to have installation options. Anyway, I just downloaded the latest drivers from nVidia, which is easy enough and better.

Other Thoughts: Installed in a Dell Optiplex 330. Nice upgrade to my PC at work. Now I can run 2 monitors and upgrade Windows if I want.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have to say I'm impressed with this little guy. I'm able to play BF3 at medium-low settings without a hiccup, SC2 runs on medium-ish settings without a problem, and I'm able to play a host of other games at the medium level, like Civ5 and TW: Shogun 2.

Cons: Has a slight problem with windows media player and video files for some reason. Using VLC it works perfectly; but in WMP, if you try to skip around in the video, it takes a while to load it up. I just find that annoying, not enough to knock an egg off over, however.

Other Thoughts: Not bad at all for $80.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat little card

Pros: Does whats made to do.
Lets my intel HD GPU take a rest and shines when playing games.

Can play 90% of what ever I throw at it.

Cons: its not a 560, no really this card has no cons. I have had the rare Nvidia driver missing in windows but I have had this issue in other nvidia cards both mobile and desktop cards.

So not enough to take a card away.

Other Thoughts: Planning to upgrade to a 560 or AMD 69XX. I wish Nvidia had mini display out.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card for the money!

Pros: My mobo has built-in ATi 4250 graphics and my Windows Experience Index was 4.6 for Graphics and 5.6 for Gaming Graphics. Certainly not spectacular, by any means. Installed this card and the numbers went to 6.8 for both! It runs very quietly and doesn't generate enough heat to worry about. Love it!

Cons: Not as powerful as the top-of-the-line cards, but who can afford $500.00 for one of those??!!

Other Thoughts: Can't beat the improvement in performance. Most bang for the buck you can find!
