4 out of 5 eggsGood Card, Loud Fan

Pros: Very good rendering. Easy to install and tweak. Great performance for the money spent.

Cons: LOUD fan. Discaimer: I generally seek to build the quietest systems I can because I usually fun 2 more computers in the same room and like to be able to hear my thoughts over the case noise.

Other Thoughts: In the past, I've stuck to the lower-performing cards just so I didn't have to install an extra fan into my case. With this one, I decided to bite the bullet and get a better card. I've since pulled this because of noise and I'm going to install a heat sink. Overall, I would buy this card again, but I would like to see the industry come out with cooler-running GPU's.

4 out of 5 eggsRunning cool -- Install disk app a bit clunky

Pros: Pleased to find the card runs cool. Had read a few articles elsewhere that 'dinged' the cards cooling system (heatsink/fan), yet this device appears to run well.

Cons: Install went smoothly, but the installation disk is a bit 'clunky' -- not as sexy as many competitors. Still...it gets the job done and the card is priced very well. I guess I can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: Runs all the newest games fairly well, I am running Call of Duty 2 on the highest settings possible and getting about 25 fps, everything else is around 50 including CS source, HL2, BF 2, Painkiller and more.

Cons: A little hot, but I have a card cooler for that.

Other Thoughts: about 55-60 fps on the CS source stress test on highest settings, over 150 on default settings. It is outperforming my friend's radeon x800, but my computer overall is better. This is definitely worth the money though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the money, get it!

Pros: This video card is great. It runs all games ive run on it, all on high to ultra settings.
(flight simulator 2004, battlefield 1942, COD2 online)
All run great.

Cons: Runs a bit hot for my liking. about 54 C idle and up to 60 full.

This is still pretty cool, but i like things cold. =)

Included software is ok. Secondsight came with mine.

Other Thoughts: Over all great card. If your on a budget, but still game quite a lot, this is the card for you.
AOpen isnt too popular in the videocard area, but go for it. No problems for me after about 6 months. Comes with great utility, and installation is a breeze.
