The Video-228PCI Series video accelerators are excellent 2D/3D multimedia video adapters for PCI local bus desktop PCs? Based on nVIDIA GeForceFX 5200 core technology, built-in with 128MB DDR memory module, these video cards will provide multiple display outputs onboard for TVout (Analog and Digital) or Dual RGBout (Twin) in optional. As the previously core technology from nVIDIA, the GeForceFX 5200 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) shakes up the gaming industry with its extremely performance, unusual visual effects, and speedy frame rates-injecting life into the artificial world of computer-generated graphics.

1 out of 5 eggsBiggest Piece of Garbage EVER!

Pros: NONE

Cons: Everything, this ended up going in the trash, because during install, one of the screws broke and NewEgg wouldn't take it back (not their fault, just didn't think it was worth the effort)... Wouldn't support 23in and 17in monitors... You have to disable your driver in windows (not just in bios), which would cripple the computer if it didn't pickup the card... etc, etc... Oh, ya and the customer support number had been disconnected...

3 out of 5 eggsDigital Max Resolution

Pros: Small card, works at 1600x1200 or below.

Cons: Max resolution stated on NewEgg is 2048 x 1536, but this has 2 DVI outputs and it maxes out at 1600x1200 digital. This does not support 22" LCD at optimal resolution.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks at 1600x1200 perfectly fine

Pros: I needed (more like wanted) additional monitors so I got this to drive them along side a 6800 ultra. Total of three samsung 204bs all running at 1600x1200 without issue.

Cons: Screen redraw is a little slow, but still performs to expectations.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice, low-profile design with a pigtail for dual DVI outputs

Cons: Will not go above 1280x1024 while connected to DVI. It will only go higher on a VGA connection.
