1 out of 5 eggsUgh....

Pros: Easy install. PCI. Got mine cheap

Cons: First thing, the drivers were terrible. Downloaded new drivers from Nvidia and seemed to work fine. Then every time I opened a .wmv my machine would crash. Went back to old drivers - same thing. Drop down the resolution - no help. New codecs - nothing.
I tried everything to get it to not be so buggy, but to no avail. The final straw was when I noticed a few streaks of fuzzy text while reading. Switched back to onboard video and .wmv and text issues cleared right up.

Other Thoughts: This card looked to be the answer to my prayers. Upgrading an older computer to use a bigger monitor for no more than web browsing and watching videos. It turned into a month long nightmare.

I cannot recommend this card for any purpose.

4 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: I love it was easy to install on my low pro gateway. After the drivers was installed it worked good. I had a ATI 9250 and it did not work well with FSX 10, so I got this one and it workes well. Stays cool in the tight case what more can I say.

Cons: Cant find any

2 out of 5 eggsToo Bad So Sad

Pros: None since I didnt get to use it, see cons

Cons: We were going to use this card with our Gateway S case machines (Low profile case) for dual monitoring but you cant plug in the adaptor because of the tool less bracket is in the way. Must be a tight fit on normal cases. If you have a Toolless bracket on your case for all of your VGA/PCI cards do not get this card.

Other Thoughts: I think that this card needed some more testing before it was released, at least with fitting into cases. If they would have moved the DVI connector down just a little bit every thing would have been just fine.

1 out of 5 eggsTRASH!

Pros: Havent found any, the card isnt working right yet

Cons: We tried installing it, the drivers hosed up the machine. It wont open network drives, hosed up active desktop, and is making life hell.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful little guy

Pros: It's small, but the, or one of the best pci cards you can buy. The heatsink covers almost the entire font side of the card, so it's all cool, not just the gpu. Easy enough to install. Probably don't need the cd.

Cons: I downloaded a driver for it from Nvidia and it made it so the card wasn't able to function. I had to use system restore to fix it. The overclocking software for it doesn't work properly. At least with my dell dimension 2350 anyway..

Other Thoughts: Install x-setup and use that to onlock the overclocking feature on it. I ended up using ATI tool instad of that. Overclocked the care speed 13% and the memory 25%. Doesn't break 45 C with 2 fans sitting on either side of it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood ddr card...

Pros: Runs well in my dimension 3000. Kinda tough getting the thing to work and the drivers installed, but works good once you figure it out. It was easier installing memory and a new processor than this, but I got it working well :)

Cons: Drivers that come with it say 'Graphics card may have errors on you're pc.' I still went with it and works great. When I have lots of programs running and say a game, it makes the game graphics kind of 'funny'. If you're using an older DDR board with PCI slots, this is probably one of the best cards you can get.

Other Thoughts: Also purchased a 3.0ghz intel pentium 4 processor, and 2 patriot 1gb sticks of memory. With those upgrades my dimension 3000 runs like a dual core, maybe better. It runs about 6 times faster than before and its still running a cool 52 degrees celcius. The hottest the card got after 3 days running straight was 55 degrees.

2 out of 5 eggsTechnical Issues

Pros: Arrived on time and in apparently good condition. Was easy enough to install, just plug it into the PCI Slot.

Cons: Drivers which come with card are worthless, new ones must be immediately downloaded from NVIDIA site. It's possible that I made some sort of mistake in installing the card, but I doubt it, as I have done this many times before.

After installation online games like World of Warcraft have long load times and frame rate drops not present before: although graphics are able to be rendered on a slightly better level, there is a definite series of problems that did not manifest themselves until after installation. Essentially this card is worse than my old one, and that was a GeForce 5 series card vs. this (apparent) GeForce 6 series.

Other Thoughts: You probably take a risk upgrading a computer that is old enough so that you are forced to use PCI anyway. Better off just buying a new computer unless you just don't have the money. Rather than upgrading just get a computer with a better motherboard, a better processor, better power supply, better everything, it wont cost much more than this card.

Im going to give this card one more day to stop having problems, maybe troubleshoot a little, but after that I'll be sending it back. A definite fall in performance from what I was having before the upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat pci video card

Pros: Great pci card it may be only a pci card. but it one of the best for a pci card for computers that dont have agp or pci express slot on computers. this card work on world of warcraft other games. look it not a grfoce 8 or 7 but for the typ of card it the best out there for pci. no lagging crisp pitchers on screen works great

Cons: wish make bettter pci cards like pci express

Other Thoughts: the lo profile bracket works well. great card for low profile computers. it suports and works direct x 9. get the updated drives from ndivia sight.
