4 out of 5 eggsReliable little card

Pros: I owned this card for about 1.5 years and it didn't act up once (until it died, obviously). Extremely reliable for all the light gaming that I did.
It can render textures rather fast, and it's extremely potent at projecting both 2D and 3D geometric objects VIA DirectX and Open GL.

Cons: The card's greatest weakness is its incompetance in shading ability. Any time you turn on a lighting bloom, rendered shadow, or particle shadow setting, expect your FPS to drop anywhere from 20-40 FPS easy.

Other Thoughts: Upon further inspection, the reason this card died was not due directly to a fried chip (no pun intended), but from a warped fan/heatsink that came partially undone from the board itself. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do to to replace the fan, seeing as how it's held together by plastic fasteners.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Easy to modify. Easy to install. Comes with plenty of parts to fit different systems. Handles all the high-end graphics I can throw at it in WoW. Quiet fan so far.

Cons: None, so far on the card. Had to get card from Buy dot com because Newegg was/is out of stock. (And it was cheaper, too, shhhhh.)

Other Thoughts: I have a very low-profile case and they sent enough parts so that I could easily mod the card to fit my case. Had to download new drivers from NVIDIA - huge download, but easy install.

1 out of 5 eggsPROBLEM Card BeWARE

Pros: Price for the3se types of cards are wroth the investment when reviving old single core processors, or so that's what i thought...

Cons: It worked great for a month, until it was out of NewEgg RMA period, then magically stopped working - actually was a gradual degrade and then it stopped. System is on, but screen is blank. I bought this specifcally for Eve-Online - worked great for a month or so...

Other Thoughts: This is the second card to fail me from NewEgg, going to call them anyways and see what they do about it. Also, notice most of the reviews are from peeps owning the card for a day or less. How can you make an honest review about a product in that time frame... unless you're a manufacturer's rep :P

4 out of 5 eggsSpec says 400W, Box says 450W

Pros: It works

Cons: Be warned, the specs on this site say "Requires at least 400 Watt power supply", but the box says "450 Watt". I purchased a 400W power supply with my latest build, and it wouldn't turn on. I took out the video card, and the machine booted up just fine. I removed a rating point because of this issue, as it caused some headache.

Other Thoughts: I bought two, one works great, the other I can't use until I get a better Power Supply

4 out of 5 eggsGood deal

Pros: Good Return for the price spent. The Nvidia control panel offers a range of settings for the monitor. The only fan i have is the one that came with the card.

Cons: The driver did not include my 64 bit Windows XP OS. I had to download the latest from the nvidia website.

Other Thoughts: I was not able to use the DVI connection since my ACER monitor supported only DVI-D. I am not a gamer, so cannot comment on its performance for 3-D games, but i did see no issues with some resource-consuming 3D applications.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent.

Pros: Great price, lots of built-on RAM, small form factor, even has S-video. I got this card for the purpose of hooking it up to a tv with an S-video connection and it works exactly as it should. Plays DirectX games prior to the Doom 3/ Quake 4 era quite well. Great price-to-performance ratio, and with so many different connector types, there's little you won't be able to connect it to, save HDMI. The 512 MB buffer means this card will function with nvidia's included PhysX extensions! nvidia's quality shines through with driver/multi-monitor support.

Cons: Under-performer, but that's expected for a card this small/cheap. Don't play anything beyond UT2K4, as this card, despite its unified shader architecture, will struggle with games that're too graphically involved. 64 bit bus for the RAM hurts performance. Heat sink and fan barely capable of cooling the GPU, as I've BURNED my finger on this thing after a full bore run!

Other Thoughts: Keep an extra fan directly blowing on the heat sink! This thing gets HOT! Otherwise, it performs quite well, despite coming from a company I've never heard of before getting it. Otherwise I have no complaints.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat dual monitor card

Pros: Inexpensive, dual monitor, great business or home use card.

Cons: None for me.

Other Thoughts: I got this card for my XP Pro computer to run dual monitors. I just upgraded that pc to Windows 7 and it works like a champ. I bought a new pc for home with Windows 7 installed and got the same card because it worked great and was well priced. My Aero rating went down from 4.5 ( NVIDIA GeForce 9100 graphics) to 4.4. Gaming graphics went up from 5.1 to 5.3.

2 out of 5 eggsBah...

Pros: I bought this card for an upgrade from onboard graphics, was a nice little card, ran relatively cool, and allowed me to play a good selection of games at decent to great settings.

Cons: Today, I heard a loud, and brief buzzing noise coming from inside my computer, and low and behold, the graphics card had shorted out right near the s-video port. The computer is plugged into 2 surge suppressors, so I know that wasn't the culprit, and I had only had the card for a about a week and a half...

Other Thoughts: No thoughts, just general sorrow that I paid for a card that blew up, not even under a strain..

5 out of 5 eggsgreat little card

Pros: very quiet, low power, great graphics.

Cons: no dual dvi support.

Other Thoughts: Worked great in my gateway sx2800 without any problems. Returned it only because I neeeded dual dvi and dual monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsTV Out on my 35" Tube TV

Pros: Installed fits and is working perfectly in my low profile Dell GX620.
Did not have to attach additional power connection.
Included cable lets you out output with S Video or RCA cables, both work flawlessly, only adjustment I had to set monitor resolution to 1024 x 768 and Clone in Nvidia.

Cons: Can not think of anything to complain about.
You have to provide your own S Video and RCA cables.
Just glad it works well and easily.

Other Thoughts: This was the 3rd Video Card I tried.
The Fiirst One Would not fit due to large Heat Sink.
2nd One had an odd ball 9 pin S Cable Connector and no adapter cable.
Really happy with this card and that my daughter can now watch her Scooby Doo!
