5 out of 5 eggsWIN 7 Compatible

Pros: Yes, it is WIN 7 compatible. I bought it to upgrade an older, smaller-case desktop. Works just fine on WIN 7 PRO.

Cons: Not a blazing fast display adapter, but fine for movies, etc.

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate as of 2012

Pros: Its nothing special, but it will get your casual gaming done.
It's not loud.

Cons: cant play alot of stuff. see thoughts

Other Thoughts: I got this card in hopes of bringing an old rig to life. i just wanted to see decent framerates with it on league of legends. im currently seeing 18-30 fps at everything very low.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for BF3!

Pros: THIS THING RUNS BF3 AT 3,000 FPS ON MY 3 2650X1600 MONITORS! was able to get the core clock up to 8000mhz on stock heatsink.

Cons: Price, cost me three years wages and had to rent out every room in my house except the shoe closet to fund my AGP video card fetish

Other Thoughts: running this with 256 megs ram and my old sempron and get 3,000 to 5,000 fps on BF3 at ultra settings.

2 out of 5 eggsnot for long term

Pros: Ran well and thought it was a good addition to an old system, no install errors, overall ran well

Cons: It HAS VERY POOR HEAT SINKS and MELTED after very little use.

Other Thoughts: It only lasted about 30 hours with World of Warcraft at very low graphics settings

3 out of 5 eggsJury still out

Pros: Testing in a Dell OptiPlex GX260 SFF (PSU may or may not be able to handle, we'll see). Marked improvement in OpenIndiana (Solaris) with Gnome over previous FX5200. Still testing in WinXP.
Got the open box so I saved a little.

Cons: Device ID (0229) under Windows is wrong. No drivers will install via setup/installer.
Display drivers can be manually installed, however.

Other Thoughts: Drivers on CD (169 & 195 I believe), 258 from Jaton, 266 and 270 beta from Nvidia would not work due to wrong device ID. Under Solaris the ID is correct (0221).
Had to edit nv4_disp.inf first in Windows XP.

Things seem to work but NV control panel will show "NVIDIA (Unknown)" and display properties' adapter tab shows chip ID as NVxx. Should be NV44 or NV44A far as I know.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Clean refresh and solid run time...

Cons: A tad cheaply made but not so much a downfall.

Other Thoughts: Needed a very slim card for an oddly slip tower desktop. Got to love Dell sometimes. This isn't the fastest nor the greatest card on earth but for the job I needed it for... there's no substitute. No really, it's hard to find a small simi high quality card. Client hasn't had a single complaint... Love's it.

3 out of 5 eggsquestionable...

Pros: this thing made one of my computers feel like it wasnt old at all, 512mb speedy agp card, on an old presario nx1500 or something like that...

Cons: the card, made the system so much faster, but, in games the graphics turned out incomplete, like in l4d there was like no darkness effect,,,, at all,,,,

and after awhile, i guess like 3 or 4 weeks, the card wasnt powering up on boot, no picture, no fan movement, i dont think there was electricity going to the card, didnt happen all the time, but started to happen after a few weeks of use,

Other Thoughts: i tested the board with other video, seems to work fine, but this 6200, was kinda faulty, i didnt stress it out at all,

sempron 3000+
ddr1 1.5 gb ram
80 gb hd samsung
300w psu
geforce 6200 512mb agp

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for older computers!

Pros: This Jaton GeForce 6200 video card is a simple, effective choice that gets the job done. The nVidia GeForce 6200 GPU has enough power to handle demanding 3D graphics yet it does not consume a lot of power or dissipate a lot of heat.

Dual output ports make it easy to run two monitors or support your choice of analog VGA or DVI display. There's even a DVI>VGA adapter in the box! You can also connect a TV using the S-Video output.

Cons: For what you get, there really aren't any cons.

Other Thoughts: If you have an older computer that's looking for improvement in the graphics department, this is the ticket. This is especially true if your older computer has limited capacity in terms of power, space and cooling.
