3 out of 5 eggsOnly works with INTEL

Pros: Came quickly, installed easy,

Cons: Was ONLY compatable with INTEL NOT AMD!
(took it to a local computer store and they tested it)

4 out of 5 eggsSame as 9500GT

Pros: True low profile design unlike Zotac GT520/610 pci
32 shaders and same clocks as the 9500GT
1GB of vram unlike and is 128bit (gddr2 is enough for this card)
Well packaged, comes with low profile bracket!

Cons: Terrible cooling due to the small fan, the airflow around the fan is not good enough and imagine a doughnut of hot air that is how it is.

No automatic or manual fan speed control.

There are no 2D clock profiles in the card's bios rom to save on power and there is no throttle temp if it overheated. Uses 50w from off the 3.3v and 5v rails (pci slot does not have 12v) so be sure to have a decent power supply.

The PLX pci-e to pci bridge does get warm so a small vram cooler with 3M adhesive tape is the best fit like the Zalman blue vram coolers.

Other Thoughts: Easily modded for improved cooling by removing the stock fan and installing a 40mm fan onto the cooler via screws.

One can (experienced users only) edit the bios rom on this card to attempt set a 2D clock profile and from there it can be controlled by the driver until a game or video is loaded.

Suggested 2D clocks 200 on core, 800 on the shader, and leave the memory at stock. Touch nothing else!!!
Be sure to uninstall any Intel GMA drivers in XP.

3 out of 5 eggsOverpriced

Pros: I have had this unit around for awhile and used it off and on for testing and diagnostics. I finally had to install it and leave it. It performs decently.

Cons: The heatsink material gets very hot. It isn't copper and is probably a low quality aluminum alloy with a cheesy fan that hardly does anything. If the cooling better, I would rate this unit with 5 eggs.

3 out of 5 eggsMiddle Of The Line Card

Pros: Can play most online games that require a graphics card with ease. Definatly a small step up for watching movies as apposed to using the onboard vga outputs

Cons: Not all that powerful for the biggest games and the small fan does very little to help with the temperature

Other Thoughts: I would recommend for a middle of the line home office or family computer

4 out of 5 eggsNice Pick

Pros: Good card for older computers. Runs games like WoW on good settings. Very silent graphics card.

Cons: Takes quite a bit of power. My computer shut down a couple hours after installation. Runs pretty hot in small places. It got up to 93°C in the spot I had it in.

Other Thoughts: Its a nice card I bought It so I can play some of my older games like WoW and Halo. It has a fairly good value for the card and It doesn't need much to run it. Also The card is a bit big so I don't recommend this card for Low Profile PCs.

1 out of 5 eggsDid Not Work Well for Me

Pros: It's a 1GB PCI card.

Cons: The driver that came on the CD did not install properly. So I downloaded the driver from the Jaton website. It installed OK, but there were artifacts on the desktop intermittently in random areas.

It performed worse than the 256MB nVidia card I had installed prior to buying this one.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure if this card was defective or if my computer didn't meet some unlisted requirements (I had a 500W PSU in a Sony Vaio PCV-RS410(UC)) - but I would suggest to anyone out there looking to upgrade their video card not to take their chances on this. You would be better off just upgrading your motherboard and buying a "real" video card - PCIe or at least AGP.
