5 out of 5 eggsPerfect solution for my problem

Pros: I bought this card to run two monitors in a Dell GX280, which only supports low profile PCI-E for dedicated graphics. This card uses an FLH connector, which pushes plenty of resolution for monitors up to 19". Some say they have problems when approaching 1600x1200, but I didn't need it for that.

Cons: A little expensive for the performance of the card, but given that it is one of the only low profile dual-dvi (or dual any monitors for that matter) cards on the market, I won't Egg it down.

Other Thoughts: Would purchase this card again if I found myself in the same situation.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not deliver published resolution

Pros: Probably has some, but we did not keep it long enough to find any.

Cons: Purchased by a medical school's IT department. Despite hours of messing around, updating drivers, etc., we could not get the card to achieve 2560 x 1600 resolution through a dual-link cable to a 30-inch monitor (Dell Ultrasharp) 3007WFP)

Other Thoughts: Returned it.

2 out of 5 eggsDay 3

Pros: The fan noise has dropped by about 5%, still noisy

Cons: OK, now in my 3rd day and I just had a graphics card semi-failure. Screen went blank, then came back on with a report that the NVIDA driver had failed. Eventually everything came back. However, by first computer salesman in the early 1980's long ago gave me a framed note: "Problems that go away by themselves, come back by themselves".

Other Thoughts: This is NOT starting out well at all.

2 out of 5 eggsNoisy!

Pros: It fits my physical requirements. Low profile, independent dual screen application in my Dell Inspiron 530S.

Cons: Noisy.....did I say NOISY? Sounds like a distant jet engine going up and down the power setting range. Very disappointed with this aspect (and a very important aspect to me). Also, at this time I haven't found a way to go to the higher resolution of 1600 x 1200 for my SamSung 213T screens. Other graphic cards went higher. Also, the control panel seems much less intuitive than my former ATI control panel.
