5 out of 5 eggsQuick and Easy

Pros: This half-height card allows for duel screen installation in low profile cases. I installed three of these at a client's office. The hardware and software installation and configuration was simple. A quick and easy conversion to extended duel monitors. It’s a nice way to get multiple monitors in a low profile case which has just one card socket.

Cons: I saw one review before mine about the misleading S-video? It's never specified as S-video. Connect the dongle cable for the second video port. The dongle cable is my only con with this card. The dongle cable isn’t pretty, but it just sits behind the computer anyway. I wasn’t impressed with the socket chosen for the dongle cable either, but it works.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this card for a duel screen workstation that had the half-height card requirement. It’s a decent price as well.

4 out of 5 eggsDual Monitor set up

Pros: I bought this card to run a dual monitor set up in a Dell Vostro 220 running WinXP
Installation was a breeze. Windows saw it immediately, went to Windows Update and I downloaded and installed the recommended drivers.
Running two Dell P2009W 20" Flat Panels.
Works fine in any resolution.

Cons: Purchased for a business application where we are constanly working with spreadsheets and text in general. It is not as clean and clear as I'd like to see, but not so bad that it causes eye strain. Overall content with the product

5 out of 5 eggsRuns 2 monitors

Pros: Runs two monitors in 32 bit color at screen resolution used in our business at 800x600 without difficulty. It will run higher resolution but have not taken the time to test. Good for the price. Have been using now for 4 years plus.

Cons: Would have prefered two D subs but the dongle works ok as long as not disturbing the nest of wires behind computer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: One of the only low profile PCI video cards I could find that replaces onboard Intel video in my Gateway E series. It improved video clarity and allowed me to run in 1152x864x32bpp where I was limited (due to refresh rate and video quality) to 1024x768 with the onboard video. This is a business machine, so I can't comment on gaming. Save me ram as onboard video was sharing my system ram. Sped the system up because it's using dedicated ram rather than system ram. Quiet - no fan, and it keeps cool enough without a fan.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: One of the few, half-height, dual monitor solutions I could find.

Cons: Won't run Vista eye-candy. Not sure how to enable the 2nd port on the card - had to use existing on-board VGA for 2nd monitor.

Other Thoughts: I thought that the card would drive two monitors straight from the card using the included dongle. After installation I realized that the on-board VGA was actually used as the 2nd VGA plug. Not sure how to enable the 2nd port on the card.

5 out of 5 eggsDual Monitors

Pros: Works great for dual extended desktop monitors. Easy to install. Inexpensive. Runs my 8 year old's games just fine.

Cons: None, but I'm not a gamer!

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for an inexpensive work solution to extend your desktop, this card was made for you! Running on P5B, E6300, 4g G.Skill DDR2 dimms

3 out of 5 eggsS-video misleading

Pros: No fan, small card, L-P bracket

Cons: S-Video out is not for TV, no direct-x 9

Other Thoughts: S-Video out is not for TV. The tech spec is misleading because you cannot hook up a TV to the s-video out connector. It is meant for a dual VGA monitor. The tech spec for this product needs to be updated.

4 out of 5 eggsgood choice

Pros: Stays cool in hot Emachine case.
Can play Halflife, Jedi Outcast well at 800x600. PCI limited but much better than Intel 810 integrated chip.

Cons: Don't expect to play any modern games. Even with older games pretty much have to turn off all eye candy.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for my 9y.o's hand me down Emachine. Games now run smooth with no freeze up. Used stable 89.71 driver. Was worth the money.
(Can't believe I once bought an Emachine, SHh don't tell anyone).
