5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the money

Pros: fanless means silent, newegg ships lightning fast.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: I'm not much of a gamer, but I bought this to run Beryl in Kubuntu. I downgraded from a nicer ATI 9600xt bc getting beryl working with ati on Kubuntu is tough. This allowed me to get Beryl running (very simple setup process with nvidia) stable for under $40.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC

Pros: Great mid-performance video card. Does everything I could ask in my Home Theater PC. I wanted a silent AGP video card that could handle everything but serious gaming. This is it!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I built an HTPC, but wanted to keep the cost low. I had an old mATX motherboard, AMD XP 3200+ CPU, and 1GB PC3200 RAM. I also had an nVidia MX4000 AGP video card that worked ok but seemed to struggle with higher resolutions on my 62" widescreen HDTV using the DVI port. This video card performs fantastic at all resolutions, and almost trippled the 3DMark2001 scores. This budget card can handle most games quite well, but it's not for the serious gamer.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Low End Card

Pros: This is a great card with DX9 for anyone looking to upgrade from on board video. I bought this for a teacher who needs good video for Office, videos, and an occasional low-mid level game. The passive HS was a big selling point. So far it gets warm but not at all hot.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It does exactly what a 6200A is supposed to do, and it does it well. Graphics look great on a 19" Viewsonic

4 out of 5 eggsgets the job done

Pros: - Passively cooled
- Variety of connections
- Hardware video acceleration
- Reasonably priced

Cons: - Not enough horsepower to run modern games

Other Thoughts: A good card for those with an older system that needs an upgrade. Perfect for an HTPC.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet, no fan, lo-profile. Looks fine.

Cons: Extremely poor driver compatibility. None of the latest forceware drivers work at all in any 3D applications, including games. Only the outdated driver version from the biostar website works at all, and then performance in general is quite poor. In addition, the DVI connection was unreliable with my samsung 204B LCD.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes The Job!

Pros: Frees up your system RAM being used by On-Board video! Installation was a snap. Supports Direct X 9. No problems at all. I do not game so this card is perfect for me (DVD Creation, Video Editing, Internet Surfing, MP3 Ripping etc).

Cons: None at all!

Other Thoughts: This is a great card to replace your onboard video with if you are like me and do not play games. If you are a gamer, you probably aren't even looking a card in this price range or with technology a dated as the 6200 series.

This is a great card.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Features

Pros: Has all the features to play almost any game.
Good Doom 3 performance on Medium Resolution.
Windows Visa Ready.
As always, great NewEgg Service.

Cons: Not a good board to OverClock, although it comes with an OverClock Utility. Don't see any need to overclock anyhow, so mine is left at the defualts

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice product

Pros: very easy install, no problem at all with the drivers

Cons: no low profile bracket in the package

Other Thoughts: it didn't fit in my low profile pc ( compaq EVO ) so i have to do adjusments that I consider unnecessary if the low profile bracket was include in the package
