4 out of 5 eggsGREAT CARD GOOD PRICE!

Pros: great price i love it so far soo good.. #1 HDMI its great to finally have one i switched from an ATI x1950 pro ... and although i love that card for its performance.. the gts 250 by biostar is great! blue light is cool the card is very quiet and cool! always a plus in my book... and it gets a 6.9 in windows rating where my ati x1950 got a 6.0 soo good upgrade! its plays most of my games with ease! i play sf4 batman AA cod4 mw1 and 2 cs1.6 and source.. soo i play a bit and its just what i need but (see in cons) overall id reccomend anyone with this card "ANYONE!!!"

Cons: not 1gb!.... and for some reason i can run batman AA on high and no lag and great detail... sf4/cs1.6/MW with no problems.. but with source i get 250fps then in fire drops to 60-70 tremendously .. i dont know why i tried to lower everything and put performance on high to see and it seems not to affect its fps dropps... maybe i need to dl more drivers?.... other than that if i fix it it will be great.. i dont play source much but i want my vieo card in great shape...

Other Thoughts: great card worth the price and more!...

my computer isnt the most advance but soon it will be

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the money

Pros: Bought to replace a burned up 9800GT. Works great, can play most games maxed out. The heatsink on this Biostar model is much better than the one on the 9800GT!

Cons: only 512

Other Thoughts: Uses less power than the 9800GT it replaced.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the money

Pros: -Amazing temps with this cooler- 30C -> 55C
-Solid power for the price, cant be beat at $110
-short PCB shorter than my 9600 GSO 384s
-Pretty solid overclocks
-P7752 in Vantage w/ stock E7200
-plays every game I've tried well(Shattered Horizon-Crysis Warhead-Assassins Creed-Mirrors Edge-DiRT 2-Source games obviously)
-GREAT Folding@Home card, GET IT IF YOU CAN: my shaders are at 1944 MHz
-129W idle 258W Load <- full system power usage

Cons: -Blue led in the fan gets annoying if you don't use a case door
-TRI SLI is not possible, standard dual SLI would work fine(a heatpipe gets in the way for tri)

Other Thoughts: Intel DX38BT
E7200 @ 3.9GHz(@stock for above testing)
2GB SuperTalent DDR3 1800(@1066 for above testing)
Corsair TX750
BIOSTAR GTS 250 currently at 799/2403/1944

5 out of 5 eggsBang for the buck.

Pros: Not the biggest card out there by any means-- it will almost certainly fit in any mid-sized case. Cheaper than any 250 model I have seen, and blows games away. When you pay only 110 dollars for a card that nearly blows "Crysis" away you're getting a good deal, my friend. Also, this card quiet and the blue LED is a nice touch.

Cons: Not one. If you have one get out of here, because this card is a beast in every way.

Other Thoughts: I might just stick with Biostar. I upgraded from a WAY overpriced and underpowered BFG 9500 GT and am pleasantly surprised!

3 out of 5 eggsJust a bit too big for 2

Pros: GTS 200 series + SLI < $125

Cons: My Asus P5N-D just isn't big enough to handle 2 of these in adjacent PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots. Disappointing. With the card in the 1st slot, the plastic case covering the heatsink almost completely blocks the adjacent slot.

Other Thoughts: Wish I paid closer attention to the RMA policy for the pair of refund. 3 eggs for decent performance and relatively quiet given the monstrosity attached to this card. It does dissipate the heat well when it has plenty of headroom.

5 out of 5 eggsnot disapointed...

Pros: Plays Dragon Age: Origins and COD Modern Warfare on highest settings flawlessly. Even after several hours of play highest temp I've seen it go is 61c, idles in the mid 30's. Fan is silent as well as blue the only way I could even tell the fan was on! not to mention it's not as bulky as other cards.

Cons: no 1gb version

Other Thoughts: I "settled" for this card when I missed out on the PNY card that was on sale for 119$ black Friday But with the 10 dollars I saved got the black Smilodon and I'm more than happy with the appearance of my PC as well as with the performance and low temp/power.

5 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: Using it's HDMI port to my 42" TV I can still max games even with AA at its highest. I did that in Bioshock with my 8800GT and it ran, but sloooow. This card rips through it so fast it runs seamlessly. Excellent performance So glad I settled on a 250. 1080p is so much better even just for web browsing let alone gaming!

Cons: The first time I left it on overnight while I was at work, I came home and restarted it, when it booted I got warnings about CPU Overheat!!!!! So that was a bit scary,. The sytem has an i7 940 and has been nothing but perfectly stable since I put it together months ago so the card is definitely the culprit. I opened up both sides of my Tt Mozart case which is a monster to begin with and has 5 120mm exhaust fans and 3 120mm intakes. I havent had the problem again since opening the doors. Was thinking to SLI since its so cheap but I dont know if it will be worth the hassle of having to figure out some kind of extra cooling system. The card does run just fine by itself tho.

Other Thoughts: I really should use temp monitoring software. I dont have any temps to provide you people. I'm not sure why I went with Bioware. No reviews and not a big name brand. The only difference in most of these cards is cooling and maybe accessories. I didnt get any accessories and didnt use anything provided in the box so I cant comment for Bioware specificaly . Win7 provided me with latest driver instantly upon startup!
