5 out of 5 eggseffective and cheap.

Pros: Bough this card as a cheap replacement in 2008 when my GX2 died in its prime. Surprisingly strong card at the time for the price and size. Played a lot of my games with no problem whatsoever

Cons: Looks a little funny with the fan/heatsink but it's nothing that can't be overlooked

3 out of 5 eggsOK Board when it works

Pros: Inexpensive board, performed well for price,

Cons: Loud fan, died after 4 months, Biostar RMA process somewhat painful, 2 week turn around, but probably would not by from Biostar again

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card, rarely in stock

Pros: Reasonably quiet cooler and great HTPC performance. With a Sempron 140 OC'd to 3.2, 2gb of 800mhz ddr2 ram, and this card OC'd to 720/1100 it ran a 7284 in 3dmark06. Not bad for a budget HTPC.

Cons: Almost impossible to find in stock anywhere. I actually had to buy it from another company because I could never find it in stock at NewEgg where I normally always shop.

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the couple extra dollars if you are considering a 4350, 4550, or 5450 for a home theatre pc. I'm actually able to decode and rip or compress blu-ray to AVI H.264 while streaming HD netflix w/ the cheapest AMD proc on the market and this card.

5 out of 5 eggsRe-Badged HD4670

Pros: This is a re-badged HD4670, dont let the HD "4650" title fool you.. Just overclock and boom, you have a HD4670.. The only difference between the Biostar 4650 and the 4670 is the Bios, other than that, they are the same card.

Cons: Biostar under-clocked the Bios settings and tried to pass their 4670 as a 4650, but that's not really a con. (If you don't mind using 3rd party overclocking software, because ATi CCC has limited their overclocking.)

Other Thoughts: Very Crafty Biostar....very crafty lol
No regrets for buying this card, its made very well and runs very cool.
Core OC 750MHz
Memory OC 1000MHz

Memory diode 39 c

5 out of 5 eggsRebranded HD 4670

Pros: Don't let the "DDR3" fool you, its GDDR3 and overclocks very well. The core can overclock past 750+ and the memory overclocks past 1000+, this is a re-badged HD4670.

Cons: ATI CCC Sucks! That's a knock at ATi, not this card!

4 out of 5 eggsOK...

Pros: Price for DDR3

Cons: Can't drive 1900x1200. Noticed ghosting and little difference from onboard VGA in this mode.

Other Thoughts: Does fine on my Acer 23" 1900x1080 but doesn't quite deliver on my NEC 1900x1200. I don't blame the card so much as it made me realize that 1080 is by far the preferred standard and the cards available are made to just clear the bar for this standard. Haven't watched a blu-ray or HDTV with it yet so I haven't reached a final conclusion but for the price it's been a decent card...so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Card

Pros: Just wanted to pass on my numbers,
Aero in Seven up 65 %. And 3d gaming up
from 5.1 WE to 6.7. Runs 46 to 56 C all the
time. Seems pretty quite to some of my other
cards. Its not loud, Its not silent, but it does not
wine in that way we have all heard.

Cons: None, its a good solid choice.
I suspect the newer Greener line
of cards will yeild even better graphics
with less power.

Other Thoughts: I didnt really buy the card for gaming,
I wanted the best bang for HD and video
rendering. This generation of cards helps
off load work from the cpu and also works in
conjunction with the theatre 750 chip to improve
movie streaming.

5 out of 5 eggsPerformance gain in 7

Pros: I really have always preferred AMD, and to be honest my love with ATI some times wanes a bit. But its really more software than hard ware that gets under my skin. But my love for the 9700 and 9800 then the 1800 and so on was strong.
Back to today, I am very happy with this card. My Windows Experiance has gone up 25 % on a Quad Core with 6 gigs of ram. The thing actually does help off load work from the Processor and the ATI Theatre 750 Tuner as well. So, I am a happy camper. Windows pures like a kitton.

Cons: It does not have direct x 11 support, but then why do I need it.

Other Thoughts: It seems to be doing all the things its suppose to be doing so far. It streams sound along with the HDMI signal. So, from a a media center stand point It s great.
I know it has a fan, and I am the type that hates them. But it does not seem to be too loud. Its maybe just a hair louder than it was with onboard Video. But its sure a lot more snappy.
A lot. I really like having a decent Vid Card, I do not like onboard Video. It just plain stinks.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: Graphics and Game Experience are both 6.7. Runs IZ3d driver for 3d gaming quite well. adjustable fan.

Cons: a little on the noisy side.

Other Thoughts: Its amazing to play nfs shift, arkham and especially sf4 in 3d. turns your monitor into a "fish tank"
