5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: Runs everything I have thrown at it so far. Crysis is smooth as silk with everything turn to very high. Have not figured the benchmarking out yet but it lowest I saw at 720p was 31fps. I still play Call of Duty 2 and it just kills that game as to be expected 300+FPS. It is nice to shop for PC games and not have to bother looking at the system requirements.

It is a reference card so should overclock well. Have not had a need to OC yet. Highest temp I have saw so far is 57* right after playing Crysis for about an hour. Fan speed on auto seems to be locked at 21%. I can not hear the Video Card fan running at all but my HAF932 case makes quite a bit of noise itself. I did manually turn the fan to 50% and it was screaming so it can get loud if need be. Idle temp is around 30*. Using the ATI Catlyst 10.5 drivers and no problems. Did not bother with the Biostar drivers.

Cons: No ATI Sticker to put on the front of my case.

I did notice a weird issue while playing Crysis where there appeared to be a crease that would run through the screen when they camera would pan during cutscenes. Have not noticed it since turning on Vsync.

Other Thoughts: My System:
Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU
ASUS Crosshair IV 890FX Motherboard
G-skill Ripjaw 4GB RAM
Biostar Radeon HD 5850
Corsair TX850W PSU
CoolerMaster HAF932 Case
ASUS DVD Burner
640GB Western Digital Caviar Black Hard Drive
Windows 7 Professional

I should note that I use my 32" LCD TV for my monitor and it runs natively at 1360x768 res. Plenty high for me plus it helps out my FPS.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Try out some games and an overclocking program that came with the ATI Catalyst control and get great video quality and performance. Have yet to have video freeze up on me while playing games. Has its own cooling system that discharges hot air out a back duct.

Cons: Fan in this does get loud but it does eliminate needing to buy a PCI slot cooling fan.
You also need to go to the biostar website to download the driver if you are using Windows 7 64bit software.

Other Thoughts: I am using this on an MSI 790FX-GD70 AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard with AMD Phenom 2 black edition processor and 16 gig of G.Skill Ripjaw series RAM at 1600mgz frequency. Make sure you know what you are doing when overclocking the hardware settings on the card.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: FANTASTIC ugprade over prior ATI 4850 512mb. Allows my system to push many current game gfx settings up to max. During Battlefield BC2 with the 4850 fan spinning at 80%, the card would still reach 100*C (yikes)... this card on auto doesn't spin up past 30% and will not crest 65*C (much better... and quieter). Plus it actually FITS in my microATX case (hard drive bays are directly in front of it).

Cons: In terms of performance, no cons whatsoever. I think it's price may be a bit high considering you can get aftermarket designs (better coolers, etc) for about the same price.

Other Thoughts: I had originally purchased an aftermarket card, however due to them being approx 1/2" longer than a reference card it did not fit in my case. Newegg customer service rocks & exchanged it w/o hassle.
